It is a refreshing experience to deal with AA Smog Station. I had a couple of very difficult diesel vehicles with onboard computers giving false codes that required extra driving to reset. Dave showed endless patience in dealing with this. He has a customer for life in me for all my vehicles. read more

I walked in right after 1pm and was able to get in and out under 15 minutes. David has great customer service and exceptional service overall. Would definitely recommend going here for a smog! read more

I had a great experience getting my smog check done here! It was my first time ever doing a smog test, and I was honestly a little nervous going in. But the whole process ended up being quick, easy, and stress free. The gentleman was friendly and professional. When my car didn't pass, he took the time to clearly explain exactly what I needed to do in a way that was easy to understand. As someone in my early 20s who doesn't have much experience with car related things, I really appreciated the patience and it made a big difference. Highly recommend if you're looking for a smooth, honest, and helpful smog check experience! read more

My husband and I always bring our cars here for smog they are so fast and friendly. Often if you can go mid day you don't even need an appointment. You can always call ahead and check on wait time. I've come here probably 6-10 times and I'm never inconvenienced or disappointed by the service or wait. read more

Great service! Came in for a SMOG test and it was done within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it didn't pass the first time, but David was transparent and explained what had gone wrong. Luckily it was an easy fix. Came back to retest and it passed! Highly recommend AA Smog Station for your smog tests. You'll be in and out-- if all goes well with your vehicle. Will be coming back for future smog tests! read more

Guy at the counter was helpful & straight to the point. He automatically gave me the $30 off coupon on the website without me having to show it. Only had to wait 15 minutes because there was only one person ahead of me. I would definitely come back here again. Support your vets! read more

The owner of the shop is very nice. I made the mistake of having my car serviced and getting a new battery before going to get a smog check and it has failed like five times because the mileage reset on the car and the owner is very nice and caring And communicative and keeps telling me to bring it back for free to get retested. Highly recommend read more

Great service at a great price. Very quick and very efficient. I will be coming back for my future smog checks.

Came in on Thursday and Saturday and this sign was still up. Now I can't get my free re-check of my smog test and have to pay for another one somewhere else. read more

I've never been to this place for a smog check. I was in a hurry and couldn't find anyone who had the time to do a smog check late in the day. He said it was first come first serve and he didn't have anyone waiting. I drove down after replacing my O2/LEL sensors. I'm glad he asked why I was getting the car smogged cause he let me know you have to drive the car approximately 100 miles after replacing the sensors. He showed me on the reader he plugged into the jeep. That was awesome he let me know before it failed. He didn't charge me anything. Just told me to drive it a hundred miles and bring it back. A couple days later I drove 100 miles down 505 to 5 then back and brought it in. He checked it again before putting it on the machine and said the sensors were reset. 15 minutes later I was done! Quick and easy. Gave great advice that helped me out a lot! Thank you and I'll be telling everyone I know about you! Thanks again!! read more

After 3+ years the service here is still impeccable, if not better. David went above and beyond to ensure the estimate I received was honored. Even though it was misquoted, as the cost was lower than his current service rate. If you're looking for an efficient quick smog check without hidden fees and up charges, then this is the right place. David is a man of his word, all services/fees are transparent. Cant go wrong with a honest business ethic read more

Checked maps and said they didn't open until 9:30a.m I pulled up at 9:20a.m and the gentleman with a Mohawk got me right in . Great, fast, reliable service is what I enjoy paying for ! read more

I keep coming back because it is convenient and expedient. Came in with one person ahead of me. Asked if the coupon mention (automatic $30 off, just mention "the coupon") was a better deal than the $41 GroupOn. Apparently the GroupOn price is before the $8.25 certificate charge, so I was happy leaving with a receipt for $43. Ya, it's up a whole $5 over the past two years. (see older picture) They provided me with a printout that the vehicle had been smogged and told me that they were going to transmit it to the DMV electronically. Paid the DMV fees already so hopefully tags will show up in the mail soon. read more

Great service fast and honest business I would recommend for smogs I will be returning next time I need a smog on a vehicle

My husband had gone here before- all he could describe was that this smog place was next to the "Mexican meat market in Vacaville". He and I both experienced friendly, quick and reliable service. When I came (around 10am), the gentleman I spoke with (he goes by "Joe" at restaurants) said he didn't have any openings at the time but quickly offered a 1pm appointment for the same day. When I returned, there was no wait, in less than 15 min I was in, smog checked, I paid, certificate in hand and out the parking lot. Be sure to mention a coupon, but they offer a discount and they're cheaper than other places in town. If you need a smog, come here. They're located on Monte Vista Ave, west of hamburger hill, right off the freeway. So if you're from Fairfield/Suisun or on I-80 driving by, you should try this place for a smog. Don't let the parking situation deter you, go in and see if they have an opening, if they don't, make a future appointment and come back. You'll be satisfied. David is the fastest smog shop I have ever been to! I failed a smog test due to a bad sensor and David gave me step by step instructions on how to reset the sensor. David even let me comeback for a re-smog a month after failing. I highly recommend and drive from Dixon to Vacaville for his service. Thanks David!! read more

Efficient is the key word. Discounts can be found in the wild. For price/service this is the best local place I've found so far.

No appointment needed, two lane service, competitive prices, veteran owned and operated. Good customer service. And they are called all American smog Station. What else is needed to be said. But just in case you are not sold yet... I have brought multiple vehicles here and i have always had a good experience. Even if the wait is longer than 20 minutes which is only happened once they are very appreciative of your service and will be very apologetic for any delays. They care about their customers satisfaction. read more

Friendly employees and comparable prices. My vehicle failed the first time due to a hose not having a clamp and leaked. They suggested the fix and I went right over to Autozone spent $3 on a clamp and fixed it right up even had my young son replace it. Came back and passed right away. Also would like to mention their speed and efficiency of doing the checks. I went in middle of a Tuesday and my car was in and out. read more

Very nice! It's so fast and professional ! I will come every 2 years for my car smog check You will be satisfied when you try here Thank you so much! read more

The most honest shop, I just bought a car and was completely screwed over. Fake smog, fake info, the car didn't even have a catalyst converter they cut the o2 sensor and much much more ...long story short I was completely taken advantage of. The owner David felt soooooo bad he didn't charge me, and gave me a free smog for the next car I need Smogged. He even went out of his way to show me how to avoid this in the future and looking at other aspects of my car he did not have to. Amazing customer service and just overall a compassionate person. I would recommend this shop to my momma, my kids and my granny. So you should too! read more

We needed a smog in a pinch on a Saturday and this shop was available asap. Super quick, friendly service. Can only rate 4 stars as there was no COVID precautions in sight, including mask wearing by the owner. Rich, can you please link your CDPH guideline so I can review? I want to make sure I understand what you are pointing to in the guideline. Thank you. read more

Honestly, I know how frustrating getting a smog check can be. It's rivaled only by going to the dentist or visiting the DMV. This Place Is Different!!! The staff is friendly and polite. Called yesterday to get a quote for a smog for an RV; the lady asked the year of the RV then quoted $48. We went and picked up the RV today and took it in and upon arriving the lady at the shop said the price was $149. She was very rude and questioned if we had an appointment. My husband informed her that we called yesterday, verified the price, verified their hours and never did they say we needed an appointment. She said no one quoted us that. Yes-yes they did. Maybe she didn't listen when she answered the phone when I said I need a quote for a smog on an RV and she just gave me their standard price. Either way, the attitude at the shop upon arriving is unacceptable and placing the blame on us when in fact we did call prior to coming. Least to say we will not support this business. Saw too many people reading my last review and realized it was not fair. I may not take my older truck here again but I'm sure newer vehicles will pass just fine. read more

Called - he (Dave) took me in right away with no appointment. He was fast, professional and personable. Great service. Use this shop!

Would not recommend, brought my sons truck in to get smogged and the owner wouldn't smog it because it was an older truck. He only accepts new cars because he doesn't want to do his job. Went down the street smogged the first time. read more

That was easy. Requested a quote, price was reasonable and by checking in on Yelp I got $5 off. There when they opened at 9:30 AM and by 10:00 AM I was back in my car with a smog certificate. Only curious part was they quoted me $48 via Yelp but the shop initially gave me an estimate of $78. Not too big a deal as they promptly adjusted to the quoted price once I showed them the Yelp message. read more

Came in for smog, guy in the front was friendly and said he would need about 45 mins. He was able to finish my car in about 20! Which was great!
