So kind and so speedy! Got an oil change. They apply a 15% military discount. Additionally checked lights, filter, and cleared check light. The technician, Gilbert, was great! read more

I work in Vacaville and needed my oil changed... this place popped up- so I gave them a try. I will be back. It was so convenient, very quick, they didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff that wasn't needed, allowed me to use an online coupon and the service was super friendly. 5 starts- will be my new go to going forward. read more

I have been coming here for my oil changes for about two years now and I always get top notch service on my cars and even better customer service at this location. read more

They are scammers ! They say they will do a service and won't do it but charge you full price BEWARE spend your money elsewhere and get your oil/other car services elsewhere. Nice people until you realize they fake services. read more

This business used to be The Cherry Pit, which as super efficient and had great service. It is now called "Oil Changers". It is a two-bay shop and they have always had both bays filled. I've come in one previous time since the change of ownership and although there were a lot of differences, it wasn't horrible. I have been putting off my oil change and finally made the trip into town to have it done. I arrived at about 11:10 on a Tuesday. Only one bay was in use and there were only two cars being worked on. I pulled up and got in line and sat there for about 5 minutes before anyone came out to talk to me. A large man came out and told me it would be an hour before they could work on my car. There were 4 guys working. 4. I'm not sure how many people it takes Oil Changers to change oil, but it used to be a quick and simple deal at The Cherry Pit. You were usually in and out in 20 minutes. So what is going on with this business? I just saw them milling around with their hands in their pockets. I'm still sitting here patiently waiting and it has now been 35 minutes. SMH. I don't know that I'll ever come back here. Just in the time I have been here I have seen 4 vehicles pull in for service and then leave. I really hope the new owner cares enough to read this review because it's looking like a serious problem is going on here. Good luck keeping your doors open. At this rate, even if they have minimum wage employees, this business is costing more than it's making. read more

people that one star have no clue what they are talking about. The mechanics are all friendly, don't upsell and are very thorough. The prices for other fluids really aren't that bad either. I usually change my oil at my buddies house but when he's busy I make sure to come here. Best in town. read more

I went in this morning for an oil change and I was very satisfied with the customer service! The technician helped me by saving some money on my end, compared to what I would originally pay at The Oil Connection. I would highly recommend coming here! Thank you again :D read more

This is THE place in Vacaville for an oil change. Mario and the guys are super conscious and really knowledgeable and do not try to upsell you on unnecessary service. I really like that they use Kendall Motor Oil and torque your drain plug to its proper torque specification. They even top up your coolant while they are there. read more

I called Oil Changers to inquire about turnaround time and getting my vehicles oil changed then took my car down there. I barely got my vehicle in park before a gentleman was asking what they can do for me. I told him I was there to drop my car off for an oil change and he immediately replied "We don't do drop offs! We aren't The Cherry Pit!" Which is honestly really sad since the business that formally operated there (The Cherry Pit) was great! I said "oh, okay... I can stay" and he then said "well, also we don't do this type of vehicle. We don't carry the oil filter for it". It just seemed like unnecessarily rude to someone trying to do business there. I ended up taking it down the street to Jiffy Lube. They have already phoned me with a car health report, and I'm on my way to pick up my car in less than an hour. read more

Gave this place a try again after I said I'd never be back. WTF is going on here? The employees walk around with no sense of urgency. One bay is closed and the open bay has one car in it. 3 employees standing around while a line of cars is waiting 45 mins. I asked if my chassis as lubed and they said they don't offer that service... that's a standard service when you get an oil change. Everybody looks stoned so that makes a bit of sense. Honestly this place is a lost cause. read more

Me and my boyfriend went to get a oil change this morning. We were helped by Issac and he showed us my oil was still very clean. I guess I was there in October and only drove 1200 miles since then. He topped all my fluids off for me and didn't charge me anything. I will forever stay a loyal customer to this wonderful place. Thanks so much guys. read more

My wife and I brought our car in for a smog check on a Saturday morning. They opened at 8am and we arrived around 8:30am and they already had 2 people ahead of us for smog checks. We were told it was going to b about 45 min, so my wife and I left to go grab some coffee. To my surprise, I got a call about 30 minutes later telling me our car was done! Price of the smog check is one of the best if not the best in town with a coupon from the monthly Your Town mailer or a coupon from their website....$29.95 + $8.25 for the DMV certificate! Staff were friendly and efficient. Cherry Pit may be my favorite place for Smog Checks from now on! read more

Hello Oil Changers sadly I have to write about my horrifical experience I have received at the Oil Changers here in Vacaville I have been coming here for YEARS prior to the change when it was called the ''Cherry Pit'' with my fleet of 30+ Vehicles.. Today I brought my personal vehicle. I was greeted with a ''what do you want'' In a very upset manner I thought he was very rude... I then replied ''A oil change if that's not to much to ask for'' He grunted then said ya sure its going to be at least an hour.. 2 cars in the bay and I'm the next one in line( I've definitely seen them faster). I've been coming here for years with the fleet of vehicles and never been greeted in that form.. I've been treated with respect here but today is the day I take my entire fleet to a new company where I'm treated with respect. Invoice said washed windshield ''Declined'' I would have love my windshield washed as every time its been done (Never declined) Lights ''Declined'' Again never declined I feel this is a very important service ESPECIALLY for a fleet so we can make sure all our drivers are taken care of and safe on our roadways. Air filter ''Declined'' Again I never declined it.. After my oil change I checked my filter and it was beyond dirty ended up going to Auto Zone where the employees installed it for free KOOODOS AUTOZONE!! Tires ''Declined'' This one was the reason I will be removing my ENTIRE fleet from Oil Changers.. Never did I decline it, I feel this one was very important to me especially in a fleet to make sure all my employees are safe on their roadways. tire low light was on had to make one EXTRA stop at AMERICAN TIRE COMPANY where they were delighted to fill my tires with air no questions asked.. I will not be back nor will my entire fleet and will be calling to remove my entire fleet of vehicles and will share with my other outside contractors to not go here.. As a business owner we outsource our fleets to make sure they are taken care of and safe for each and every employee who drives our company trucks and its a total fail.. My technician was by the name of JEFF.. JEFF you failed to be professional to my entire company NOT sure if he is new but this was just sad... From business owner to business owner please train him on how to take care of not only fleets but every single person that comes into your company.. sadly cherry pit/ oilchangers I'm changing company's wish you well... Hope this post helps your company improve read more

Super disappointed with this oil change experience. This was my first time at this location. I wasn't greeted, just immediately instructed to pull in and pop the hood. They completed the oil change and asked if I wanted them to check the lights, so we went through that inspection. Then I was given a total of over $100. I was a little shocked at this price, and was even more surprised to read the receipt. They charged me for a synthetic oil change when I always do non-synthetic. They never even asked what I wanted. The receipt also stated that I declined a window wash, which I didn't because I was never asked. Why would I return here when I can get SO much better customer service down the street where they ask questions, explain what they're doing, offer beverages, and have complimentary additions? read more

Love getting my oil changed here. They have great rates and are very quick! I was greeted and helped quickly. My car was out in about 20 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon which was very fast!! read more

I absolutely love this place. I've been going here for years and I'm always very well taken care of. Gilbert Jeff and Anthony are the best. I go in for an oil change and get a free comedy act. Just had my oil changed in my wife's car since the new ownership. Once again 5 STARS for overall service. From the time I pulled in I was greeted by Jeff and Bubba (Gilbert). I will definitely recommend the new business based on the Top notch service of Jeff and Bubba. Regards Bruce read more

As of late I had switched from Oil Changers but I gave them another shot today. I was met by a young man named Adrian who helped me. He was professional, friendly, and provided professional service with a smile. I'm always happy when I have good service teamed with great customer service. Prices and wait time are competitive. read more

Drove in to get an oil change. Never been there before. Walk around the cot see to find someone because both doors are locked. Dude in the shop goes get back in your truck. I was confused, not a great greeting. Then proceeds to tell me they are oil changers not the cherry pit. Alright, never been here. No signage to guide you through their process. Still willing to give them money for the oil change. Pull into the bay. Sitting in the truck and he can't find the information for what kind of oil or how many quarts to put in. Bad customer service and you can change the oil on an everyday truck. Won't be back. You figure if you just bought a business you would do a bit extra to earn someone's business. To Conner: What invoice? The employee who told me to get back in my truck said your system couldn't register my truck so there was no way to know how many quarts or what type of filter. Couldn't help me. This is just a 2020 ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi. FYI read more

The service is amazing, not only kind, understanding and fast. They put you first. Mario helped me secure a better oil for my car and made sure my air filter and washer fluid were clean and full, without even asking. The cater to here. Don't go to this business unless you want to be treated rude and be upsold overprice services.

Very disappointed with my recent oil change service. I've taken vehicles there for years, but this and the last time I feel the service is lacking. I asked if my chassis was lubed and was told that the lubrication points were full! Well that's not how it works. Each point should be lubricated at approximately 5,000 miles. As you can see in the photo. Last time there for me. Good luck if you use them. read more

I called to check if their smog technician was working that day because I had previously missed him (my fault for not calling). They told me that 430 was last call since he's out the door at 5. I told them I might be cutting it close and didn't want to keep him late since I was calling around 4. I was assured that as long as I got there before 430, I was good. Got the okay from my boss to get out of work early, arrived at 420, to be told they weren't taking another car. Smog king is down the street. Better customer service. Not super busy. Employee said, "We close at 5, but would take you at 501." Also, gave me a discount after telling him what happened. Would recommend smog king over cherry pit. read more

These guys are so nice. I needed help getting the lug nut off because the previous mechanic who changed my oil last put it back on way too tight. They loosened it for me and gave me a new lug nut all for free. Truly incredible customer service for someone who didn't even buy anything. They quoted an oil change for $60 if I decided to let them do it and I would have, but my guy knows how to change the oil so I had him do it. I was surprised to find out I didn't have to get out of my car at all. I stuck my head out the window and asked one of the employees how they're able to do anything without me getting out of my car. He kindly explained how it all works and it's just so easy and convenient. Definitely recommend thanks guys!! read more

I have been coming to Cherry Pit for years. How does an oil change go up over $75 for the same vehicle in less than a year? Oil filter from $15.95 to $67.95? Special filter charge from $8 to $60? I understand the oil price and going up and a reasonable increase in the overall service, but geez! The young men working here were polite, but the only explanation for the exorbitant increase was they have no control over the increase in the cost of the filters. We will not take any of our cars back here again. read more

I've been coming here for 20 years and my wife's company HAD an account here. Looks like everyone is new at the Cherry Pit. I got here at 7:50 3rd in line. Staff waited until after 8 to come out. It is 845 and they still haven't fixed my truck. I watched the entire Staff stand or sit around chatting about something in Vallejo unrelated to work, as the other took time to vape. It's 845 and they still haven't fixed my truck. I watched the entire 3 person crew sit in the bay w a car done talking about something in Vallejo unrelated to work, as the other male worker hit his vape and the woman at front was back chatting w them. Waiting room is packed. Took video of no one working tell me how to post. I'd consider a new crew. I have never seen such lack of motivation to start the day. read more

STOP!!! Do not risk having your vehicle serviced at this PIT. They charged me for an oil change and only drained my oil. They did not add the new oil to my engine that they charged me for. My engine seized after driving approximately 3 miles from their shop on my way home from this PIT. I'm out $8,000.00 and despite several attempts on my end, the owner of this PIT has yet to contact me or make good on their incompetence. LEGAL action is in the works. Avoid this PIT! I came to get oil change because drops ins are so called welcome! The sign said open. There were technicians in the garage. I had the WORST oil change ever here. The guy/kid seemed totally stoned and moved at less than a snail's pace. He checked all the boxes as complete but never filled my coolant, windshield fluid, windshield wiper check, new air filter, or air in tires! So my wife has been going here for a while. She took her new Q 50 there for an oil change. She got home and told me how they charged her $128.72 for a synthetic oil change. Theyvcharged her $26.95 for an oil filter, and $19.95 for a special tool charge. I called and talk to Jorge the manger there. He said there was no extra charges for the oil change. Than I called Nissan for the same oil change. It was $84.00, with a car wash. WILL NEVER GO TO CHERRY PIT AGAIN WILL GO TO NISSAN read more

Going with a 2 star. I always go for smog and its always smooth in and out. I personally do my own oil changes. I brought in my work truck out of convenience. Quick oil change in and out. I leave for work the next day. Driving down 80 I smell oil. Ehh whatever, Keep going, my truck is smoking, pull over. Look under the car, oil is pouring out onto the ground. My drain plug is gone. Get a tow back to them, they pay for the tow. Thank you for that. They fill me back up cleaned off the truck half heartedly I might add, it still drips and smells like burned oil. So I get the thumbs up to leave driving back down the freeway my truck is louder than normal. Pull over again pop the hood my air filter housing was disconnected. What the heck yall. I lost 3 hours of my day due to all this.. Please implement some quality control. read more
