Discussed with Christian a part that needed to be removed causing a recommended replacement of a gasket and was quoted a cost for service in addition to the spark plugs. The day of the part did not need to be removed to access the spark plugs. Adjustment made to price for service and my truck was good as new! I appreciate the great customer service and honesty. Brought in the car and couldn't be happier with the service. Would go back again. Oil change done as stated. A diagnostic and fix was also done as the car had three check lights come on. After the work, the car works so wonderful now. The customer service was beyond stellar. What I love about this company is that you can receive a text message which has a link to read a full detail report of what assessments were done with the car and what the potential interventions should be. On top of that, you also have a phone conversation with an explanation of what fixes should be done immediately vs. what can wait. They are very honest and I appreciate that a lot. Very RARE to find. These guys were awesome! Brought my truck in for new front brakes. My brake% notification alert was showing 22% left, plus I have over 100k with the original pads. They took my wheels off, noticed I still had tons of life left on them. Instead of replacing them and making money off me; they made sure I was aware it wasn't necessary. I was at work and started up my Prius and my motor was shaking and knocking violently. My car has over 200k miles on it and I thought for sure my motor was cooked. I had my car towed to Wrench Works and spoke to Christian who was very helpful especially with my vehicle getting dropped off late on a Friday. They weren't able to look at it until Monday and I was expecting to have to pay thousands to fix what ever was wrong with my car. Turns out rodents had found their way in to my motor and ate through my wires. I was back on the road for under $300. Just want to let everyone know the team at Wrench Works in Vacaville is the best I've ever worked with. From Alicia at the Customer Service desk to every mechanic I've had work on my car, I genuinely could not ask for better support and service. As an example, back in October I had the right rear brake assembly replaced. Less than 12 months later, I lost brake fluid pressure, and Wrench Works fit me in within a couple of days. I brought my Porsche GT3 over to them for an A/C service and upon arriving I was greeted by Luke (one of the owners) and immediately I felt a connection with them. They are very cool and polite people. They charge a very fair price and do such an amazing Job. Luke explained to me very well the do's and dont's and gave me some advice for my car. He is very knowledgeable with cars. I left my car with them and It was done, I was notified through text with an email link about my car's repair report (which I found very cool). My husband and I highly recommend Wrench Works. Our vehicle recently had multiple codes pop up, of course right as our smog test was due. They honored a 2 year warranty we had on one of the parts that they had replaced. They went above and beyond to fix the one code. The other code, they were upfront and honest with the repair quote and did their best to get our vehicle back as soon as they possibly could. Wrench Works communicated extremely well with my husband. We felt that they truly cared about our car getting fixed in a timely and reasonable manner. I called Wrench Works trying to get my car looked at for suspension issues. I advised Chris of what was going on and at no point during the call did he advise me of any inspection fee to just look at my vehicle. Needless to say I took time off of work to drop my truck off and when I arrived Chris advised me that it would be $190 fee to just look at my vehicle. I declined the inspection but what really disappointed me was Chris's rude response of "I don't work for free" in front of other customers.. His attitude has completely turned me off on Wrench Works. If your shop doesn't offer free estimates Wrench Works should state that in the initial call and advise the customer instead of disrespecting them in front of others. I ended up taking my car to Les Schawb Tire Center in town, they were courteous and professional with me. They inspected my car for free and even went as far as resolving the issue with no cost to me. read more

Went in for a problem with my clutch as the pedal was going all the way to the floor and the transmission was still engaged. I tried to bleed the system myself and couldn't get the air out. Brought it to Wrench Works and the problem was solved in about an hour. They blow the clutch got all the air out total pros. I have to say I was very impressed with their service as far as making the appointment to bring my jeep in and while it was there, the communication was awesome and picking up and paying was easy and comfortable and the price was very very fair much lower than I expected.
