After three failed smog tests at three different smog locations in Vacaville, Jamil, the owner, explained what the issue may be, tested it, and fixed my issue! My car passed with NO PROBLEM!!!! Unlike the other places, he went above and beyond by manually fixing the issue instead of brushing it off as a connection issue that needs to get fixed. If I went here first, I could have saved more money. Quick, efficient, and knowledgeable! He truly knows what he's doing. Plus, he's super funny and friendly! Great service all around. Superior Smog Check will now be my go-to, and I will DEFINITELY recommend to everyone! Thank you! :) read more

Jamil is a kind, considerate, and super knowledgable guy. The character recipe for a wonderful service experience even if it ends with leaving and knowing you'll have to pay for repair/replacement parts. I did a morning drop-in for a typical DMV smog and he was able to quickly work around me forgetting the barcode I was mailed (I really gotta start keeping that in the car when it comes). Also, he showed me just how quickly and easily he can build a valuable bond with a customer and deserve our ongoing business, he has a great talent for giving conversation, education, and while doing quality work. The price is well worth the value of the experience imo read more

I can honestly say, that as far as businesses go, you will never find a more dedicated, kind, and professional business like Superior Smog Check. Jamil is a blessing to everyone he meets. You will not find a better person to manage your car's smog check. If only more businesses can learn from Jamil's dedication and customer service. I know it sounds crazy, but I always look forward to my smog check, because I know I will always learn something from Jamil, not just about my car, but on how to be a better person too. Superior Smog deserves 10 STARS!!!! read more

Jamil was awesome, and he is my go to guy for a quick and reasonably priced smog! The shop is clean, the waiting room is clean.

Came in to get my smog and let me tell you, this place is easily 10/10. Jamil is easy to talk to and informative. I left knowing more than when I came in and I didn't even have to ask. He made sure I understood the process and you can tell he cares. Best value for your time in Vacaville read more

If you want a older car Smogged, they are not equipped for it. My car was an 1084, they said NO Can Do.

Well that was surprisingly easy. Arrived early. Staff opened a few minutes early so by 8:30 the task was underway. Was out the door before 8:50 with my smog certificate minus $50 (go to their web site and get the $10 coupon). read more

Most reliable honest smog shop in Vacaville! They saved me $9k. Every shop told me I need to replace both my cats on my Range Rover. Hence the $9k. He told me to replace the o2 sensors first. He said he has never seen a Range Rover cat go bad. I did it, $700 later and I passed! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

This place is great! Believe it or not, but I had 3 cars that needed to be smogged for registration all at the same time. The place we usually go to for that doesn't do it anymore so I gave Superior Smog a try. The owner is really nice and boy, does he hustle! He was super busy when I brought in the 2nd vehicle and he made sure everyone was taken care of and helped everyone in a timely manner. He was working alone for all 3 smog checks! What a great business to support. I highly recommend Superior Smog! The price was fair, it was super quick, everything was filed online with the DMV, and the price was fair. read more

Really bummer customer experience. I live 45 miles south of Vacaville in the east bay. I stayed at Hyatt Place in Vacaville June 17 , 2020 and decided to get my smog check at Superior. My car failed so they said I had 30 days to get a smog re-check. I drove my car 45 min back on july 23 (36 days later due to COVID and distance. They enforced their policy and charged me anyway. the guy was nice enough to give me half off. But just was kind of a bummer they charged anything. read more

My husband needed to get a smog test on our 1994 Jeep Wrangler. The place he'd used before is permanently closed. Every other place we called said the machine they use for 1994 and older vehicles was broken and they could only do 1995 and newer. One place did say they could do it but they were booked for weeks. Superior took him in the same day he called. They were friendly, fast and efficient. They are very good at their job. I highly recommend this business! If I could give them 10+ stars, I'd do it! read more

Had great service by Superior SMOG. Drove all the way from Sacramento area on a referral from my mechanic and glad I did. Amongst COVID conditions, making an appointment was great since it ensured not a lot of crowds to sit and wait with and I could be in and out fast. I have a 41 year old Mercedes 450SLC and they knew exactly how to test for SMOG. Fast, courteous service. My car passed with flying colors. Will be back again next time I am due for SMOG check. read more
