The repair is complete, the price was reasonable, and the service was great. I will definitely come back, and recommend this place as well.

Good luck Getting someone to help you. They don't even pick up the phone…read more I asked 3 people for help and no one came. I asked to speak to the manager and apparently they were too busy to talk to me too. Lowe's is right across the freeway. I'm headed there now. Reply to Home Depot team: I have lived in the area almost 20 years. This store used to be great. But no more. I would rather drive to the Woodland Store 26 miles away (I live 10 away from Vacaville) than go back to this Vacaville store. You really need to send someone to Vaca to kick some a$$.

Nobody to go help in the tools section…read more I walked around the section for about 10 minutes. I then left and went to another department and asked for a person to be called to help me in the grinder section on aisle 17. I heard the announcement loud and clear across the store PA I wait another 10 minutes and ask another department again. I hear a clear request for help on aisle 17 with grinders . I did have a gentleman announce himself as Manuel to. Please call him Manny. He was not dressed in any kind of insignia as being a Home Depot employee he said that he would absolutely help me when he saw I was looking at grinders. He shouted to another gentleman who was a distributor for another type of grinder. This person was trying to help me, but he didn't know the Dewalt grinder system, and didn't know if there was a tool that would help me take the wheels on and off again no help whatsoever from the store. Finally I approached self check out. I asked one of the ladies to please call me the manager. A gentleman who said he was one of the store managers named 'Red' came and identified himself as one of the store managers. He said he wasn't sure why nobody came up and that was too bad that happened. I ask who the GM of the store was and I was told his name Brian . But I was also told he was too busy walking around the store looking at inventory to deal with customers who are not being helped. Clearly they have lots of managers, but none of them managing. I definitely would avoid this Home Depot. It was just so conveniently located off the freeway on my way to Sacramento that I thought I would grab something I needed. What a mistake. Looks like they have all the products one could want just no help in purchasing them

I love browsing at Lowe's! I found a wonderful selection of plants during my visit. I was…read moredisappointed however when I got home and realized they each had large bugs (pincher maybe?) inside their pots. Kimberly waited on me at the checkstand. She was kind and efficient. It began to pour down rain like nobody's business and as I stood there checking out the customer behind me "Ben" asked if I wanted him to get my car and drive it to the entrance! Why yes, thank you Ben!! Overall good shopping experience.

While I was driving there I got a text from a tenant that I manage a house for who told me their dishwasher is having troubles and needs replacement. I walked around for a bit in appliances to see which microwave and dishwasher I could purchase. There was 1 person working the appliances helping someone already, the. myself and 1 other person waiting for help. The employee noticed us waiting and quickly called for more associates to come help in appliances. Within 5 or so minutes someone (Kiera) had come over to ask if I needed help. I told her I wanted to purchase a microwave and walked her over to the one I wanted which fortunately in stock so she went to the back to get it. While waiting I was trying to make a decision on which dishwasher I was going to purchase. While I was waiting for Kiera. Another associate came over to see if I needed help. The other person that needed help was already being helped. Shortly after Kiera came out with the microwave I wanted then asked if I needed help with anything else. I told her I needed to purchase a dishwasher for a rental house. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers and explained to me the differences of each one I pointed out as well as check to see if they had them in stock. I finally decided on an LG dishwasher that was in stock so I can get the quickest delivery and install. It costs $209 for the delivery, install and haul away of the old dishwasher and another $50 for the power cord and required hoses/parts. Since the dishwasher was in stock, I should be hearing from the delivery/installation person in the next couple days to schedule the delivery/install. Fortunately, I can install the microwave myself. I'm not sure if Lowe's just happened to have more employees working today (Sunday, 2/2/26) or they have improved their service, but it was a very pleasant experience today. Special thanks to Kiera who provided exceptional service!

Harbor Freight is one of those funny stores where I adore it but hardly ever shop there. That's…read morebecause I'm a lightweight when it comes to power tools, and the like. If only I had discovered the store when I was first building my collection of power tools. It would have easily commanded my budget. When I popped into the store looking for my one item, I anticipated a long hunt. Instead, I spent less than five minutes finding the product. The store is just meticulously organized with signage for each and every category of tool. In order to zoom in on whatever you're looking for, just read the signs. Now I have a decent set of hardware and only rarely do I discover I need something new. My go to hardware stores would be Harbor Freight, Ace and Amazon. I do have a preference for Harbor Freight when it comes to power tools. I think the reviews come from some pretty hard-core users. Amazon reviews vacillate between useless reviews. (love this product. End review) to the occasional expert user who may describe in excruciating detail the pros and cons of said tool. With the Harbor Freight reviews, you get a lot of detail from people who spend a good chunk of their time using the tools. As for Ace. It has that old timey feel of a richly stocked hardware store but more general than Harbor Freight. Less emphasis on power tools, more emphasis on every day fasteners and the like. Over time I have found that ace has some great staff who know exactly what they're doing. I actually used Amazon to lock in on the market price for a tool like this. Even with the wildest generic product, the Harbor Freight tool was more highly praised and lower priced. Years ago, when I discovered Harbor Freight, my friends and family all warned me, only buy items which receive four stars or above. Less highly ranked items would probably be disappointing. These days, the number of items with four stars or more about abound in the stores catalog. Consulting once again, my friends and family, agree that the quality of the products has risen over time. Service was friendly with the cashier offering to sign me up for as many programs as I could tolerate. Overall shopping in the store is incredibly easy. I eagerly anticipate returning in the far far future when I need another tool.

It is an interesting addition to what was clearly once a dying strip mall. We were on our way to Lowes when my husband saw this spot and wanted to stop. He found only 1/2 of what he was looking for. But the woman working there knew where the item was to be located and while I couldn't find it, I didn't mind the trip. The security guard watched my husband's newly purchased items while he joined me in the search for what he was looking for which was very nice. It's weird because after visiting the store in San Rafael ages ago and making a big purchase, my husband said that everything he bought was cheap and complained. And yet, like a lemming running to a ledge, every time we see one of these he wants to stop. I still don't know why. But, I think he's more careful about his purchases which means that he's learned something.
