We did and the old cover was not repairable or worth recovering. That was Friday, and Kyle said give a a few days to come up with something. I only live about ten miles from Factory Direct Spa Covers so I took my cover over to them to see if it was best to re-skin it or get a complete new cover. The owner asked me if it was OK to cut open the cover a bit so he could take a look at the metal spine that goes down the center. It was rusted and disintegrating. I wondered why I was seeing small bits of rust along the seam. They made me a standard cover (square with rounded corners). It was ready in less than a week. It looks great and it is so much lighter than the original cover that probably had a leaking moisture seal and was soaking moisture up. I don't dread taking the cover off now. Follow up: It has been about 1.5 years and the cover still is working great. It doesn't absorb water and still looks great sitting out in the California sun. read more

Our original Spa cover worn out and we need the new one. First, we searched on internet and hope we could repair (sort of) by ourselves. The material cost is not cheap and we also need time + skills + tools... We also compared the cost to buy a new spa cover from several web sites. Finally, we found http://www.hottub-covers.com to replace our spa cover. This website is a LOWEST cost for spa cover and do allow us to buy a new skin spa cover only or a new spa cover kit. We were a bit apprehensive about ordering without seeing the quality of the cover and because of the fantastic pricing. I am on my 4th cover now in over 20 years. All have lasted at least 5 years and have worked and fit perfectly until the last one. Within a 1 1/2 years it started the vinyl started cracking and wearing through. I emailed Will and sent him some pictures and he replaced it no charge within a week. Probably a bad batch of vinyl. I purchased my previous cover from this company in January of 2005 and the cover lasted all the way until about mid-late July 2013.
