I love getting a pedicure here. Pam is super sweet and most of the time she can see you day of phone call. i usually call Friday mornings and she is able to fit me in after 5. she gives you a great massage and is very welcoming. Bring cash if you can or else you will just pay $1.00 extra for using your card. I been coming here for 13+ years on and off and when ever i am in the area i stop by. First visit was on 2/13, I came yesterday 2/26 because I had broken a nail. Nancy missed many spots on my old nails and now after ONE DAY, my nails are lifting. I was also charged 25 for the fill... she said it was FIVE dollars to fix one nail? How does that make any sense when I paid 25 to get all TEN NAILS done. She uses the excuse she doesn't speak good English to explain to me why I was over charged for her services, and none the less the crappy service I was given. I'm writing this 2/27. I will insert pictures as well. Save your money folks.. I don't know why people like to take advantage of folks who are giving them business... beats me. read more

So, I've been coming here for a couple of years to get my nails done. But, lately I found out that they now do eyelashes. There is someone who is somewhat new, whose name is Anna. I got my eyelashes done by her about two weeks ago and then I came back today for a fill on my eyelashes. Anna does a fantastic job. Even though I like mine thick, she makes them look so natural. I will definitely be coming back. I've gone to other lash extension places and for some reason, they never look like this. I love her work! read more

Hoorraaayyyy for a attentive, kind and professional nail tech. Yes this spot isn't all fancy with steamy towels and hot stones but it is a clean, professional environment that will not only leave you satisfied with the work you get done but also a lasting impression on your heart. My tech was Pam I believe. She seemed to be the owner or perhaps the manager of the shop. She was friendly as soon as I walked in as were the other techs who were busy at work doing pedis. I was told to pick a polish and was pointed in the direction of wall mounted polishes and also more colors that sat on a counter display. I waited only about 5 mins before I was seated and Pam was busy working on my feet. The spa chairs were comfortable and everything looked to be clean and sanitized. I appreciated that there was not much chatter among the employees. They were instead engaging with customers. I received a beautiful mani and pedi from Pam. I chose regular polish over gel this time and it was flawless and lasted quite awhile before chipping. This location is close to my girlfriends job so I'll be back. read more

I walked passed this place and asked how much a pedi would be. They told me $20. Then I came back another day to actually do the pedi, asked again how much it would be at the beginning and was told $20. I also got a bikini waxing done. After all treatment was complete, I asked what I owe them in total and they said $25 for the pedi. When I said but they told me it would be $20, they said it was because they had to remove callouses with a skin scraper so it would be more. I told her that was not honest and that I've had many pedicures done on my feet and this was the first time I was being charged more for what should otherwise be standard elements of a pedicure. I even brought my own nail polish. I noted that they should inform customers if they are going to raise the prices on them BEFORE they begin treatment, rather than leading them on to think it's going to be one price. I paid them the $25 + the cost of the bikini wax. I told them I would not be returning again upon which one of the women said that the next time I come she will take $5 off my pedicure but sadly I don't trust their word at all. The pedi was just OK. The woman did good work removing dead skin but the shape of the nail and polishing wasn't anything special. I'd recommend going to a place on Piedmont Avenue where the prices are fixed. read more

Im pretty picky when it comes to my nails and although the environment was very plain my nails were FABULOUSE. Just came back from my first visit. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and the woman on the phone was very nice! Showed up to the appt right on time and they took me and my fiancé right away. Pam was very sweet and called me and my fiancé by our first names the entire time. To me that's a big thing ;) They were quick and thorough and I was in and out of there! It's not the biggest place but hey who cares. The prices were so great also. I came to this place yesterday. It was my first time ever and I am truly going back. It was the first time I left one of these places noticing right away how good my feet felt. All the ingrown nails were gone and the relief I experienced was rewarding. I talked about it all day because I've not ever felt this good leaving one of these places. I was so over feeling the ingrown and thought maybe it was my shoes. NO, it was the place I had been going to that was just not doing a good job. Job security?????? Hmmmmm... Fair enough and it was certainly one of the speedier mani/pedis I have had. Not blown away with the polish color variety. Also since my mani pedis are fewer and further between, I'm more inclined to go elsewhere with some ambiance even if it's a few bucks more. Called ahead and was assisted immediately once I arrived. read more

Ugh. I let another woman (not Jennifer) do my fills. Worst acrylic I've ever gotten. My cuticles were burning for two days afterward, edges were lifting and now, three days later the acrylic chipped off my thumb. read more

What a big disappointment. I've been here before and it wasn't the greatest but it was satisfactory. Today I was the only customer and so I had one woman on my toes and the other on my fingers . "What great service" I thought. Hah!! my pedicure was fine, my manicure sucked. She didn't even do my cuticles. She heard me tell the pedicure person to cut my toe nails very short. So, now that I finally had some nails enough to even get a manicure, she cut them all off. she barely filed anything. I bit a hang nail of the side of one finger on my way home. At home I looked at my cuticles and I could push them down with my a nail from the opposite hand leaving shredded nail polish above. I guess I won't be back there very soon. Does anyone know of a n ail place that doesn't treat old ladies like they have no business being in their shop? read more

I go to Tammy for my mani/pedi/brow waxing services, and am very happy! In addition to being very professional, Tammy is a sweetie. So go with either Tammy or Pam, the owner. They just renovated too, and it's lovely. Right across the street from 7-11 on 40th/B'way. For free parking, go around the corner on residential street. Enjoy! read more

I don't ask for much when it comes to getting my nails done. All I need is someone who is efficient, affordable, and does a good job. The ladies that did my mani + pedi were nice, but I have to say I could have painted my nails better at home in far less time. I spent almost two hours here and left very dissatisfied with my nails. When I showed my manicurist the terribly uneven paint, she should have redone them for me. Instead she kept adding layer after layer of paint, none of which looked any better than the first. read more

Tammy is super friendly and sweet. I found Pam to be a little cold but maybe she had an off day. The prices are reasonable and their work is pretty good. Their shop just seems a little worn in and I'm not sure about the cleanliness. Maybe a renovation could help. read more

As nice as the ladies were that took care of me I have to say I was pretty unsatisfied with my manicure. I specified that I wanted to keep my nails long with squared ends, but ended up with somewhat uneven, mostly square yet with slightly rounded edges. I'll probably go back for a pedicure because the prices are so cheap and I was in and out quickly when I was on a tight schedule. read more

I'm only giving one start because my gel manicure was done right. BUT NEVER get a Brazilian was at this place. FIRST OF ALL,, it was filthy and they used cut up rags to do my waxing. The wax warmer was DIRTY! And they didn't know what they were doing. I looked on the wall to see if they were a esthetician license and didn't see any so I told her it was ok and she could stop because I could tell they were not skilled to do so. Then she had the nerve to want to charge me $50! But the price and services list said $45. Honestly, they ripped me off and I'm never going back there again. read more

Fabulous. Really confident and comfortable workers. Friendly and very quick. I was going to a place on Piedmont avenue that took 3 hours or more. Neither are fancy but here I get attention without a lot of chatter. I get everything done efficiently and effortlessly, fills , ebrows etc, and pedicure in 1 1/2 hours tops. My salon!! read more

The gentleman who took on the appointment made several errors, from not allowing the polish to dry so that it had to be redone, followed by closing the salon EARLY with the polish ruined before I got to the sidewalk. I decided that there was no hope. The next visit was taken on with a different technician. When I pointed out that the polish was on my skin and the nail not clipped right she actually blamed me for the problem. There were other items that I noticed but allowed to pass. So glad to have moved to another salon.
