Italian restaurants are few and far between on Maui but it's nice to have an option for some good Italian even if you have to drive to Kihei. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese dish and ordered 2 meatballs to go with it with the meatballs costing a little extra each. The sauce was good and had a lot of meat mixed in, which is good because I am kinda a carnivore. The meatballs were decent size and had a good flavor. I wanted to try a dessert that they had in their case in the front but I was full and decided to try a dessert next visit. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here made the staff were friendly. Wow, this place could be fantastic if it actually had an Italian chef, who knew how to prepare pastas and pizzas and sauces in an Italian manner. The area could certainly use a high-quality Italian restaurant. It's kind of strange to have to wait in line to order at a cash register counter and then tack on a service charge to have somebody just bring it to your table, but we did and gave them 20%. Nice server, if only for a minute. Also, what's kind of strange is the big screen TV replaying over and over again the same surfing images. In a nutshell, this is a fair to average restaurant in a largely tourist area that has relatively high prices for low/medium quality. Nothing stands out, on the other hand. It's very popular with the locals. apparently, the bakery is a popular destination. The Caprese salad was maybe the best appetizer on the menu. read more

This restaurant is a solid place to take your guests as the food and dinner service are generally very good. Recently, we've had breakfast here twice and each time we were satisfied but the meals were not memorable. I loved their version of Eggs Benedict but the dish lacked salt or something as it didn't really taste as amazing as it should have, based on appearances. The coffee was very good. I truly think it's awesome - and this is the reason for the four stars - that this restaurant has an outside play area for patrons to use for their children who are either bored or (no surprise) can't sit still for very long in a restaurant. I think it is very thoughtful and it speaks to how the restaurant owners understand their clientele. I often see families here and this restaurant embraces that market wholeheartedly. We came by twice during our trip - once for desserts and once for the entrees. I must say the desserts made a significantly greater impression on us - all desserts including the cheesecake and red velvet cake had this signature feature of being rich in flavor but not weight. In other words, you could eat and not feel too sloth-like. The price points on the desserts is a bit on the higher side but we'll worth the quality. For entrees, we got the stuffed scallops and the pizza. My friend is a big pizza lover as am I, and this pizza was pretty good. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is just the right size. The stuffed scallops were decent - felt a little heavy and less of a seafood taste than I would have preferred. But overall, a nice place to come by and eat. Most notably is service was excellent! Very diligent in checking in on us and making sure we were doing ok. PROS: - excellent dessert options that does not leave you feeling heavy but taste great - friendly and timely service - pizza was made with fresh ingredients and the crust was just the right size - great internal ambiance - both indoor and outdoor seating options available CONS: - stuffed scallops were a bit heavy; could have more of that seafood taste read more

Had a wonderful lunch with friends here. We got there and the rest of the party was there so they waved us and we sat down. Service was excellent. She was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious but a little pricey. But it was nice for our first time experience. I enjoyed my lasagna it had a good taste to it. Macaroons were a little pricey 2.50 each or 12.50 for 6 or 25.00 for a dozen. So we just got a couple. read more

Our vegan family of four had an amazing dinner here. My husband and I shared the vegan risotto and the vegan bolognese dishes and they were both filling and truly fantastic! My kiddos (4 & 6 yo) shared some plain pasta and a kid's pizza with plant based cheese and loved it. The restaurant itself is a casual vibe with outside seating available. You order at the counter but the rest of the experience is a typical sit down restaurant. I'm just beyond impressed that they offer such a creative and delicious vegan menu. The true test of a good Italian place is their Margherita pizza. I was famished, didn't have a car, and selected Fabiani's because I could get dinner delivered. It was a hail Mary pass, and wow was I impressed. The Margherita (ordered with very light cheese) was as perfect as could be. Flavorful, light, delicious. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life, including in Italia, and Fabiani's pizza is REALLY good. The Ahi Bruschetta and Caesar salad were wonderful accompaniments -- the Chopped Tomato, Garlic, Onion, Caper & Basil toppings for the bruschetta were perfect. The only thing the caesar was lacking was anchovies, but I know a lot of people aren't down with the little fishies :) Looking forward to returning. read more

We really enjoy this place. I actually prefer the Wailea location but it has been closed during Covid. I love that they offer so many gluten free options (both pasta and pizza). The food is great and I would strongly recommend take-out pizza from here rather than other restaurants in Kihei/Wailea. read more

Absolutely incredible! Their new vegan collaboration with Mamma Mia is a dream come true. We came for half off pizzas at happy hour. My hunni got the calzone and I got the vegan Beetza! Beetza comes with Walnut and Mushroom Tomato Sauce, Roasted Beets, Tofu Ricotta, Kale, Vegan Mozzarella on our Gluten Free Vegan Cauliflower Crust. Staff are kind and helpful. Outdoor dining area with classic Italian music. Highly recommend for vegans! They also have a vegan Bolognese and vegan risotto. Sometimes they have vegan pastries too! Moved to Kihei from Lahaina and as we were in search of new favorite restaurants, we stopped into Fabianis. We have been in almost every week since! (4months and counting). The service is fantastic (we always sit at the bar), the pizza and happy hour pizza prices are unbeatable and the dessert case is like nothing else in the area. We have tried so many of their menu items and dessert items and have loved everything. Also, the espresso martinis are amazing, it's a great place for a full meal or just dessert and a drink! I had liked the food here in the past! I saw the most bizarre scene here and I won't be back. I saw an elderly woman get a glass of wine dropped on her by a waiter. When she mentioned what happened to the owner, not only did the owner not apologize, he actually became irate at her and her family for bringing it up. Seemed like a very unbalanced person. Absolutely no change in rating as they serve up some tasty pasta dishes! Since we visited last, they've expanded this location's menu to mirror what they serve at their Wailea location. FOOD: Caesar Salad - $9.00 (full portion) Maui's tastiest Caesar salad was still amazing a year later. The creamy dressing coated each leaf of romaine well. Stuffed Scallops - $12.00 Cheese and seafood together? That's motherland blasphemy! But, we're not in Italy and honestly, it works. Five scallops were served on the half shell and topped with a creamy mixture of goat cheese, spinach and bread crumbs. The scallops were on the smallish side and didn't have that delicious sear that I like. I think a better preparation would be to pan sear the scallops THEN finish with a broiling of the mixture on top. If you're a fan of stuffed scallops, I suggest you check out the new Bentos and Banquets food truck which serves an out of this world version. Carbonara - $16.00 The dish was more soupy than expected but tasted spot-on with creamy and savory flavors enhanced by the diced pancetta, fresh green peas and parmesan. The bucatini pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Affordable and a nice sized portion! SERVICE: Our female server was friendly and very helpful. First time here since moving back a few months ago. They still got it! My kids demolished the both of their bambino pastas. Was a packed house on a Thursday which was nice to see and even though they had quite a few brand new servers they did great with the service. You order at the counter which is becoming the norm on Maui. But the food came out with good timing. The lasagna that I ordered was THE BEST LASAGNA that I've ever had! It was phenomenal! Of course we ended with the tiramisu and macaroons, which tasted just as good as they did 6 years ago. We will def be back. read more

Not as good as Pizza Madness, but I do prefer thin crust over regular. I ordered a pizza with tomato, garlic, salami, and mushrooms and it was pretty good. It was a little burnt, but the taste of the pizza itself was pretty good. My husband ordered an all meat pizza and he liked it, but like me prefers Pizza Madness. I'll have to try this place out for dine-in though since we had ordered through the Hopper app. read more

I have to come clean.............I came here for both, because Fabiani's is BOMB.COM with their pizzas & desserts!!! I had this place on my radar like forever..........and finally last week I had time to drop by Fabiani's Bakery & Pizzeria since I was working just next door to this place in Kihei. Upon walking into the joint, we were greeted & seated right away. After looking over the menu, I decided to get a Maui Veggie pizza which consisted of - Baby Spinach, Roasted Onions, Zucchini & Red Bell Peppers. My friend got the Genovese Pizza - which was a white sauce pizza with Shrimp, Tomato, & Basil Pesto. What can I say about the pizzas? If you like a pizza that is thin crust, with a slight chewiness to it, than this is the place you should check out! The toppings for the pizza were pretty generous, and I loved the way the waitress used fresh parmesan cheese, as she used a machine to grate the fresh cheese on top of my pizza. Since the pizza came out piping hot, as she shaved the parmesan cheese on my pizza, you could see the cheese move like little worms on top of your pizza while it melted. Lol! It appears that the pizzas here only comes in one size, which is the perfect serving for an individual. As for the desserts.........man, this place makes so much different kinds of cakes, pastries, & macaroons. I think this place is known for their macaroons, but I took a pass on the macaroons that day, & opted for a Cheesecake Tiramisu. My friend got some kind of Blueberry Crumb Bar thingy. If you love cheesecake like the way I do..........you will love this Tiramisu Cheesecake! The Cheesecake was not heavy in texture like a New York style cheesecake, yet it wasn't light & airy like the kind of cheese cake you would get at the Cheesecake Factory. I would say the texture was just "in between", and just right. Flavors were really good on this Tiramisu Cheesecake, and I loved the chocolate shavings on top of the cheesecake. SERVICE here was on point, our waitress was friendly & efficient. No complaints here about the service! PARKING is available in the private parking lot. Parking here is free, but the parking is shared by other businesses, so at times, finding parking can be a challenge depending on when you come here. Me and my other half wanted to try a new place, we were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. The food is over priced for the portion size that we received. The Fettuccine Alfredo was bland with no seasoning/flavor, same with their mashed potatoes and asparagus. We typically love peanut butter but the peanut butter bomb square was not it for us. It has no crunch or texture of any soft it just tastes like we are eat melted peanut butter. Definitely will not be eating from here again. read more
