We ordered the bbq steak bowl. The beef was like little pieces of charcoal that had been cooked a long time ago and it arrived cold. The rice was only half cooked so we didn't dare eat it! We had ordered from here before but this time we received much smaller portions. Sad. Wondering what's going on here.

Food was good and a huge portion size! Loved the fries, I think they were best without any dipping sauce. Will definitely have again! *sensitive to cross contamination and was fine!*

My food had a piece of cardboard cooked in to it. I got a "make your own asian inspired bowl" and it was sub par at best. The mushrooms added were an additional charge, $1-2, I believe. When I went to bite into the mushrooms to try them, not only did I bite in to a large piece of cardboard but the musbroom were very tough, smelled bad, and tasted very old. Paid $20 per bowl of food and could only eat a couple bits because of how unappetizing it was to find something non edible in my meal but also for the taste to be so disappointing, unfortunately//: I did not feel good after eating just a small portion of the bowl. are refunds possible?

I had a gift card to doordash and seen this place on the gluten free list. I thought why not try it out. I ordered the Orange Chicken bowl. It was delicious. It was very spicy. A good spicy but next time will ask for the chili and sauce on the side only because i have issues digesting spicy foods now. The amount of sauce was good though. No complaints about the food, size or taste. Id order this again! The cauliflower surprisingly looked like it was a fried beef but it wasn't. We also had the make your own. Ginger garlic soy sauce with flash fried cauliflower roasted broccoli. This was really good too. Def order this again. The amount of onions and bell peppers were perfect. I will be ordering from this place again

We ordered for delivery & were pleasantly surprised with the prompt arrival of our food. I ordered a gluten free vegan cheese puzza and it did't disappoint. It was actually very flavorful & tasty. The peanut chicken bowl was also very good. Fantastic place to get gluten free food!

Food was gluten free, but strangely had no flavor. Would eat their French fries again in a pinch.

I wish they would mention that their weekend morning to lunch menu is different from the one displayed on their website. I drove all the way here for the main pizzas/pastas for my birthday, but we were only limited to breakfast food and burgers on a weekend afternoon. Also, I understand that weekends get busy, but our server did not check on us at least once. They were only present to take our orders and then drop off the check. As a former server myself, I am very aware of these things. It appeared that there was some down time to check on a simple 2-top as she was walking up and down scanning the tables. I can say that this is not reflective of the previous times I've dined here as the service has always been very pleasant, and the food never disappoints. For minimum $20 per entree, you would expect the servers to check-in on how the table finds their food and whether or not there is something they can provide to make it better.

I find their bowls and salads fresh, healthy, and filling, which makes this one of my favorite lunch options during the workweek. The Mezze Salad is a particularly good choice when you're hungry. One time I added chicken, falafel, and avocado, and another time I kept it simpler with just chicken. Both combinations worked well, although adding all three definitely made for a substantial lunch! I also tried the Kale Caesar Salad, which has the makings of another favorite, but unfortunately the dressing was much too salty for my taste that day. I'll probably try it again sometime to see if that was just a one-time thing. The dining area is open, bright, clean, and comfortable. It works equally well for lunch with colleagues or friends, or for sitting by yourself with a meal while reading or working on a laptop. Service has been consistently good, with attentive staff who respond quickly when I need something. After three visits, Rad Radish remains one of my go-to lunch spots in Hayes Valley.

The food and service impressed me enough to get curious and read about the restaurant afterward. I was surprised to learn that Greens has been at Fort Mason since 1979! About a dozen of us gathered for dinner. The four of us sitting at one end of the table decided to order different appetizers and main dishes and share them so we could try several dishes that caught our attention. And that turned out to be a great decision! The dining room is quite spacious. When we arrived, several large parties were already there, along with smaller groups of two to four people. After debating what to order, we asked our servers a bunch of questions. They patiently explained the dishes in detail and helped us make up our minds. We started with the Falafel Platter, Mesquite Grilled Zucchini, and Fried Cauliflower. For our main courses, we ordered Roman Gnocchi, Mesquite Grilled Tofu Brochettes, Black Mission Fig Pizza, and one other dish whose name I cannot recall. Everyone at our end of the table enjoyed the choices we made. The Fried Cauliflower stole the show among the appetizers! It was perfectly seasoned with garlic, herbs, and lemon, and the accompanying tartar sauce added even more flavor. The zucchini was cooked just right, neither overdone nor too soft. The Falafel Platter offered a wonderful variety of flavors on one plate. The pizza and grilled tofu were delicious, but the Gnocchi was my favorite of the main dishes. By the time we got to it, everyone was already full and could manage only a bite or two. I ended up taking most of it home and thoroughly enjoyed it for lunch the following day! Before our food arrived, one of our friends had warned me that I would become a fan of Greens. After trying their food, I think she was right! I had never expected to enjoy so many different vegetarian dishes in one sitting, and I'm already looking forward to returning.

However, the entrees we ordered were quite salty and didn't have much depth of flavor. Afterwards, we realized they don't use garlic or onion, which would have been helpful to know ahead of time since it really affects the flavor profile.
