    Overpriced. Tricky promotions. Administration fee and THEIR mandatory promotion makes process outrageous. Only pluses is "new" and clean.

That was the time it took for me to sign the lease, find that my lock wouldn't fit, leave to get another one and drive back. When I returned with all of my boxes to put in storage, I realized that I hadn't inspected the storage unit. Since I was more concerned with the size of the unit, as soon as Zach (a manager) showed me a few options, I quickly signed up. When I returned and started to move in I noticed piles of mouse droppings all around the perimeter of the unit walls! I had to turn on my flashlight to see because the lighting in the unit isn't great. I immediately removed my things and left. I called the after hours number and cancelled my lease. I wish I'd read the reviews and not wasted my time. Since this place clearly has a pest issue it's interesting that one of the other workers (Aiden) bragged that others have moved to THIS location due to rats at OTHER storage facilities. So that was either a BLATANT LIE or he is negligently unaware that the place where he works is just as dirty. SMH. I'm actually glad the office was closed when I got back because I might have been convinced to move to other unit. However, this level of infestation is definitely throughout the building. I have no idea why this place has 5-star reviews. The true reviews are scattered but they're RECENT. Do your homework and AVOID THIS PLACE.

    I used their packing and moving services and the packing was terrible. They forgot to pack the…read morebathroom and I had to remind them. After they left I realized they did not pack anything in the medicine cabinet and forgot to pack an entire kitchen cabinet and drawer. They took my formal shoes (beaded and glitter) out of their shoe boxes and dumped them in the bottom of a big box underneath my sneakers and boots! When I went back to clean my apartment I found the pile of shoe boxes they left in a closet. They took dirty clothes out of a laundry basket and packed them with clean clothes. They put ceramic items in a box with other random stuff without wrapping it up. AND, they removed the cords to my TVs and speakers and I haven't found them yet, nearly a week later. I contacted the company to complain and did not recieve a response., I have a marble end table and the top somehow came unglued. One of the crew knew it happened but didn't mention it until I asked why the top wasn't attached. They were just like, oh well. Glue it back.., UPDATE: they did not respond to my emails until I posted this review. I have not heard back from them about this 'investigation.' I have photos of the items they forgot to pack and the pile of shoeboxes left behind hidden in a closet, etc. Not sure how they are 'investigating' on their end.

    I usually refrain from writing negative comments unless it's really bad, but I think certain…read moreelements are worth highlighting . Draw your own conclusion. 1. First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .

    Moving company: All My Sons Moving & Storage 7642 Dynatech…read moreCt, Springfield, VA 22153 804-315-3030 Manager: Rusty On Wednesday morning at approximately 8:04 AM, I contacted All My Sons Moving & Storage to ask questions regarding their moving services in order to determine whether I wanted to move forward with using their company. Unfortunately, my experience with both the employee and management was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The employee I spoke with, Laura, appeared to lack the necessary knowledge and understanding of the company's services and pricing structure. During the call, I asked whether there would be any taxes or additional fees beyond the quoted flat rate. Laura responded by saying, "From what I have been told... no." I explained that I needed a clear and definitive answer and requested that, if she was unsure, she transfer me to someone who could provide accurate information. Laura placed me on hold and later returned to the call still unable to provide a direct or confident answer. I then expressed that her inability to answer basic questions made me feel as though she was not knowledgeable regarding her position. At that point, Laura became confrontational, spoke over me repeatedly, and insisted that she had already answered my question clearly and that she was fully capable of doing her job. Her tone and attitude became increasingly hostile and unprofessional. Due to her behavior, I stated that I no longer felt comfortable continuing the conversation with her and requested to speak with a manager. Instead of professionally transferring the call, Laura continued arguing with me. Roughly 15 minutes into the conversation, she then informed me that the call was being recorded. At no point at the beginning of the call was I advised that the conversation was being recorded, which I found highly concerning. I was eventually transferred to a manager named Rusty. Unfortunately, the interaction with management was no better. While attempting to explain my concerns, Rusty repeatedly interrupted me. When I asked if I could finish speaking, he responded, "Yes, if you would like," in a dismissive manner. After I explained the issues I experienced with Laura, Rusty stated that he "couldn't play sides" and would need to listen to the recording. I never asked him to take sides; my intention was simply to make management aware of the poor customer service experience so that no future customer would have to endure similar treatment. Rusty then stated that they "rarely receive complaints like this," implying that my concerns were unusual or questionable. I responded by saying that simply because complaints are rare does not mean poor treatment is impossible. Rusty accused me of misconstruing his words, which I was not doing. I was simply responding to his statement. He then claimed there appeared to be a "communication issue," when in reality the issue was the unwillingness of both the employee and management to acknowledge the unprofessional behavior and poor communication that occurred during the call. At that point, I informed Rusty that I felt the same confrontational attitude was being displayed by management and that I no longer felt comfortable trusting or spending my hard-earned money with the company. I then ended the call. Shortly after 9:00 AM, I received a voicemail from Rusty stating that he had reviewed the recorded call and believed the employee had answered my question. The voicemail entirely ignored the employee's inability to provide clear information, as well as the hostile and dismissive behavior displayed throughout the interaction. This experience was extremely disappointing and reflects a significant decline in customer service professionalism and accountability. As a hardworking United States Army Soldier, I dedicate my life to serving and protecting this country. I should not have to endure disrespect, hostility, or dismissive treatment simply for asking reasonable questions as a potential customer. I sincerely hope this matter is reviewed seriously so that future customers do not experience the same level of poor customer service and unprofessional conduct that I encountered.

She did a very great job of working with me and helping lower the rate from the potential $337 increase from $259, to offering me a $175 rate for the troubles. I have agreed with this and after discussions with her I agreed to update my review with this feedback, but I did advise I was not able to move it to 5 stars due to the still constant issues with the grounds of the facility. But 5 star customer service for sure for following through quickly and giving me the rate offered. With facility improvement it will for sure be 5 stars, which I'll gladly update it to. I am leaving some of the original review just for background to see what the Team Lead helped with. Edited Original Review: Storage rate began 9/2022 at $61/m for first 3 month promo than went to $122. Increased to $197 in 2/2023, then $230 8/2023, then $259 6/2024. And before the assistance of the District Team Lead, it was going to jump to $337 starting 9/2025 (see new review above). The facility needs a lot of work on the grounds, especially the 10 foot long pothole. Pavement on the roads around the units are not fantastic and could be better, it is still not climate controlled or anything. I'm a retired and 100% disabled veteran and they don't even offer anything to help with the cost of these units to us. They only offer discounts for Active-Duty military.

Guys from City Hound Professional Movers made my entire process quick and painless from getting the quote to completing the actual move. Cost was a big factor for me because of distance so I requested quotes from all major moving companies in the area and the rates that Andrew offered me are definitely the most competitive. CHPM is transparent and honest with their pricing. I was only charged for the services that were rendered. After all my bill ended up below what I was originally quoted for! The staff are very professional, friendly, timely, and accommodating! All of my items were delivered safely without problem (nothing was broken or damaged). They also took measures to ensure that social distancing was practiced, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Just moved with this company on Tuesday and the three men who were assigned my move did not speak english, scratched up my walls both old and new house. Cost discussed on initial call was not honored. Paid for 3 workers where only 2 did most so the total time was EXTRA long. We had to go behind them placing in correct rooms, even though we were telling them throughout, had to move heavy items off fragile glass or mater to prevent items being broken. They left items behind at my old property. They made a mess in one of our bathrooms doing a sink bath basically -- water all over sink and floor. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! When I emailed and called with complaints customer satisfaction did not matter. If the above behavior is highly trained I am afraid to see untrained according to their standards. I was prior military and moved many times --- I have never had as much issues before. They are getting a 1 star because it is minimum required by app.

From initial contact for a quote I thought something was off because the process wasn't as streamlined as before. Then I get a call the day before my move that my reserved timeslot of 9AM isn't feasible so i'm being bumped to 11AM. An emergency arose during the move where I had to make a few runs less than 1mile from the to & from move destination, which I think they took advantage of the no supervision & ran up the clock. I made my runs & came back to the movers nowhere to be found but there was a lunch sack with crackers on my couch so I guess they took a break in the middle of the move. Anywho, $700 later after a 2/hr $398 estimate I'm missing a glass shelf piece to my tv stand & the company has gone radio silent as to what happened to it. I checked the truck upon move completion so I'm not sure what went wrong, but I know I won't be a returning customer
