This is EZ moving from Chicago(nationwide movers) NOT the company in Texas. They gave one quote and than increased it by thousands when they came to pick things up. They told us delivery would be within 10 days but ended up taking g closer to two weeks with NO Communication. When they finally showed up things were spilled all over and boxes were not in great shape. On the positive side and the only reason for even one star is the drivers who delivered and set up furniture were very nice and helpful read more

0/10. broke my things and then didn't pay me. their handling company said they would send a check for my claim and they never did!

Contacted the BBB and they said they tried to reach this company to do an inquiry on our claimant of missing and damaged belongings. The BBB stated they could not reach this company and there was nothing else they could do. Filed a claimant with Att. General and they said to take them to small claims court to have it settled. Well, the contract states that they will only pay 60 cents on the pound, which is next to nothing. DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY! read more

I was moving to California from Geneva IL and selected EZ Movers because the sales person, Maryam Wahab, promised that the delivery would be made 12/15-12/16. I requested this in writing and received an email saying "Per our conversation, we do have a truck that's expected to leave from Chicago around Dec 10th driving towards the west coast so, as of now we are expected to arrive in Huntington Beach, CA approximately, around Dec 15-18th." On 12/17 I called Maryam to find out about the delivery time, and was informed of the driver's name and phone number. The driver said he was in Oregon and had 5 more stops before mine so he could not tell me when the delivery would be made. I contacted Maryam again reminding her of the commitment she had made. She apologized and claimed she had not been aware that it would take so long, but she would speak with the dispatcher. She recommitted in writing to deliver on one of two days, either 12/21 or 12/22: "I just spoke to my dispatcher and we can deliver Friday or Saturday. So, it will be one of those days, but I will make sure the driver calls you a day prior to confirm the exact dates and time of arrival." On 12/22 I called the driver Sami to verify the delivery time, and was told he was still on the road and would possibly arrive on 12/27. Today on 12/26 I called the company and spoke with a supervisor named Kevin who offered no help or resolution. Since I'm traveling and won't be here to receive my stuff after today, Kevin threatened that they would take my belongings back to Chicago and charge me a redelivery fee. Based on my experience with this company I would not recommend them to anyone. Their service is terrible, they lie and withhold information, and don't communicate. After every delivery commitment was broken, I had to contact EZ Movers to find out what was going on. There was no communication from EZ Movers about changes to the delivery, not from my rep or from the driver. read more

The bad reviews are right: DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS My girlfriend and I hired EZ for our move from Grand Rapids, MI to Seattle, WA and it was the worst experience ever. The movers showed up for pickup a day late with a Ryder rental truck and claimed that their truck had broken down the day before. So they showed up when we had 4 hours left on our lease and immediately started packing the truck so we felt our hands were tied. Although we agreed to an estimate of $2500, we ended up getting charged $6100 (plus another $1000 for shuttle service) because the movers claimed we had more than they thought we would. They originally said it would be $7400 but we argued with them for a discount since they were a day late. They made us pay 70% of the bill during pickup and could only use cash or check. Then at drop-off we paid the remaining 30% (plus fees) in cash only which is obviously for evading taxes and avoiding a paper trail. Customer service was very responsive before pick-up but almost non-existent after that. I called several times a day for about a week and was put on hold and hung up on every time until they finally just blocked my number. We couldn't get ahold of them to ask when our stuff would arrive or for details about the remaining balance. I received a text the Saturday before getting to Seattle saying that our stuff would either arrive Sunday or Monday and that we would have to pay an extra $1000 for shuttle service. Monday came and went and we had no idea if our stuff would ever come. Tuesday morning, the truck driver called saying he would arrive on Wednesday afternoon, which he did. We were just happy to actually get our stuff back with minimal damage. I consider us lucky compared to some of the other reviews I've read just because we received our stuff in a somewhat-timely manner. If we could do it over, we would have just gotten a U-Haul, packed it ourselves, and driven it across the country. read more

Pretty sure they stole all my belongings. Glad my Grandfathers ashes and priceless photos are so important to steal. Picked up my things from Indiana 8 days ago, no one can get in contact with anyone. My dad keeps getting hung up on, he's called every day just to find out an ETA of my things- just so someone will actually be here in Florida for the move. Thanks a lot EZ movers, my dog and I really love ordering pizza every day and sleeping on a mattress in an empty house. I have nothing- no clothes- no dishes- no utensils and no furniture. My situation for having to move was bad enough as it is- this company has made my whole experience horrible. Please don't go with this "company" as I'm almost 100% sure they're a complete scam, and if they're not, and my stuff ever arrives - still don't go with this company. I'd give negative stars if I could. At this point, the police are even being involved. read more

We used them for moving from Champaign, Illinois to Indiana. Multiple issues with them 1. movers were unprofessional. no English language knowledge. can not comprehend simple English. for every single, they will call there manager who they think is master in English. They will not ask you anything and jump to throw your stuff in the truck. will not organize and end up needing more space than required. 2. after they are done half way they will ask for money they say can not take cc or check just cash. they will ask for more than the quote. 3. I informed them, I will need to go to the bank as I do Not keep cash with me. but they can not even understand simple language. I called them multiple time to make sure they will drive to my home to drop off stuff but instead, they did not reply to any calls. 4. they took stuff to their warehouse. next day after calling 100 times and warning about calling to police for stuff. received calls from someone who can talk in some English. 5 we slept in our house without our basic stuff with 2 little ones. 6. One guy came to unload the truck next day, he did unloading of all stuff. you can imagine how he did it. 7. during moving, the furniture that we bought in 2016 got ruined as the guy was not able to pick heavy stuff. 8. he was in the hurry as he had to hurry to NY for moving. 9. called multiple times as I did not sign any release form due to damages furniture. 10. Insurance coverage is BIG JOKE. Awarded 70.00 $ for damages. will take appropriate action so they can not cheat someone else again. my number is 2199243710 if you need more information. i will post pictures soon of damages stuff. Beware of this company. read more

Zero if I could. I expect if I want my things, I will have go find it at the flea market because no one knows where it is and nobody will talk to me about it after weeks of trying to find out why it hasn't been delivered. Pretty certain it is a huge scam. I am just sorry that the pictures of my ancestors which are meaningless to anyone else had to become a part of this company's pillaging of hard working honest people. You have been warned, if you've Read this and opt to fall for the sweet salesperson pitch, it is your folly. read more

Very responsive before the pack. I was very careful to call when I needed to add items to my move and was told I was under the minimum. They were very late, over an hour past the given window. During/after the pack I was told I was $800 over. I had no other option but to sign since my items were loaded. Trying to get a call back after was next to impossible. They finally offered $100 off which I took but was still waiting to speak to a manager which never happened. They were also 2 hours later then the given window on the delivery. I was also told the same people who loaded would be the same people that deliver .. not the case. I would not recommend them .. read more

We hired EZ Moving for packing and moving my six-bedroom house. I was extremely impressed with their packing. Everything was wrapped and securely packed in each box. The movers were really careful with the fresh paint in my house. They called me the day before to confirm the pick up the next day. They were a couple minutes late, but they did a phenomenal job. I wasn't disappointed at all and neither will you be! read more

Do not trust this company. Speaking for a family member whose TVs were smashed up and items stolen from their move. My family member is extremely traumatized after this company had their belongings for more than 3 weeks as they moved from state to state. If you value your possessions do not use them. read more

These people are THIEVES. They DO NOT DO WHAT THEY PROMISE! Due to a construction project coming to a close, I needed to move from Indiana to Michigan. I was quoted $1,000, which was the lowest estimate I got. They wanted a $100 deposit, to which they charged my credit card. This was June 1. On June 5, my plans changed and informed EZ Moving that I would not be moving and to please issue a refund. I was told by the rep that a refund would be issued within 72 hours. I was asked to send an email confirming the cancellation. I sent the email. The refund has yet to be issued and it is June 20. I have talked to them a few times and the answers are the same; "I'll escalate it to a manager." They have not answered my emails. Today they answered my call and just sent me from this person to the next, then hung up. Now they aren't answering my calls. I was told that if I removed my negative review from Yelp, they would refund my deposit within 48 hours. Even though their own policy is to refund if move is cancelled before truck starts to load. Now, why would they ask me to remove an honest and legitimate review in order to receive my refund? DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! Check the Better Business Bureau website first as there are complaints and many negative reviews. read more

Ez moving were great! They called to let me know the ETA and arrived on time. Other companies quoted me $600 more then what they quoted me. It didn't take as long as the other companies said either. On top of that they had better customer service skills then the other companies had by far. They made sure all of my belongings were wrapped perfect and secured in the truck. On delivery they were fast and very careful not to hit any walls. The crew put all the furniture together. They have definitely exceeded my expectations. Anyone looking for a great moving company go with Ez moving. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Highly recommend! Professional movers at an affordable price! Ez moving did all my packing and moving. They disassembled all my furniture and even wrapped my fragile china very securely. I put very little effort in my move. I have a kid, so trying to make sure all of my kid's toys and clothing made it to the same spot. Luckily the movers were polite, accommodating, friendly and professional. Pick-up and Delivery was on time for the most part. The part I liked most about Ez moving Is that they have amazing customer service. They made sure everything was in perfect condition when returned to me. The sales rep gave me a call just to follow up and see how things went. I had nothing but good things to say. I will definitely be recommending this company to everyone I know. read more

DO NOT call this company, stay away- This company is a SCAM. I hired them with a very detailed specific list of items. They quickly responded when I called or emailed KELLY GREY Sales Manager to submit changes. They quickly responded back with a new contract. They quickly took my deposit. THey arrived on time at 4:30PM the day of the move. THey wanted cash right away or a check. I had neither on me. THe driver calls me to the truck and shows me a space in the truck that he says is the space for my items. THe space allowed would not have even accommodate one of my items. The driver stated you require about triple the space which means the price of the move is now triple the amount quoted. Additionally, they didn't have space in the truck. When I refused to pay triple the amount, they started packing up and said they were going to leave for another job. I asked them to wait until I got a hold of the manager who set up the contract. The manager would not pick up on the phone, the dispatch said they would have someone call. No one called. I have tried calling repeatedly to get my refund back, only to be transferred to another line, then disconnected. I tried calling back and they have blocked my number. I call from a different number and when they realize it is me they disconnect the call and block the number I called from. I only lost $160, but these are scammers. Stay away. I will file a complaint with MDOT and Federal trade Commission. read more

15 days and almost $5,000 more than the agreed upon price EZ Moving group from wheeling Illinois is delivering our things, the delivery drivers are (Sergei , the other man gave no name as he speaks no english) Russian and Khazakstani. One speaks no English the other very little. Our things are in a different truck and different order than they were loaded. Some of the packaging is off. They were over an hour late , argued about the payment method I was instructed by their company to use, and are basically just putting things inside the house in no order. This basically completes a business transaction where I was originally quoted 6k to move and I declined, so their quote maker (Jeremy from EZ Moving) deleted half my inventory to give me a quote I would accept. He told me he was giving me a special move rate. When they showed up in Michigan they doubled the price, demanded 70% up front, and left with my things only to call and threaten to auction them off if we did not pay the new price. The original driver (lolo) brow beat my wife into signing a new agreement and even got her to waive insurance by telling her I'd already purchased it . What followed was scrambling for double the money I had agreed to pay and weaving my way through their labyrinthine customer service that connects to Romania if they do not answer. I was finally able to reach a Karen Lopez. She could not give me a delivery date for nearly 14 days, and then they blocked my number from calling. They finally call my wife to say Thursday the 12th or Friday the 13th. They damaged the walls and doors in the house I moved from and am selling, I'm waiting to see if all our things even are on this truck and in good condition. Friends, family, even enemies, do not use this company to move anything even human refuse. I would not recommend this company to Hitler or Satan themselves , they are that bad. I'm fairly certain they are a front for some other business of a less legitimate nature. Eric the "Long distance manager" is unhelpful and hostile, the refuse to connect you with any management or even anyone with a basic understanding of the English language. What was supposed to be a stress free move for my wife while I was working in another state feels like we instead were rolled by the Russian Mafia. I'll be contacting the BBB, and probably and attorney the moment the last item leaves their rented Ryder truck . Tl/dr: EZ Moving Group is bad, criminally so and probably a front for an eastern European crime syndicate. They are based on Chicago's south side. Do not use or allow anyone else to under any circumstances. If I could do negative stats for these criminals I would. read more

My original quote was $1,500. The week before the move it went to $2,200. The called to confirm the pickup date. We confirmed and then they showed up a day late. When they showed up they packed the truck, 3/4 of the way loading our property they tell us it will be an extra $1,200! When they get done loading the truck and close the door they ask for a cash deposit of $3,600. I reminded them that they said $700 when they picked it up. After 20 minutes of phone calls they agree and take my cash. They then present me with an invoice of over $4,100!! And let me know it could be more when they finally deliver it. I told them I wasn't going to pay that amount. They kept my cash and literally dumped my entire house contents into the street. I took pictures and video of all this. While dumping my belongings in the street they are actually insulting me for being white and bald. Talking about how dumb I am and stating I can't do math. https://youtu.be/e8-CtuPcVlE read more

My furniture was picked up on 8/1/18 from Indianapolis, IN and should have been delivered to Las Vegas on 8/9/18. I started Calling EZ Moving group on 8/10/18. They would not answer the phone for a week. They told me my furniture would be delivered in 7-9 days. Today is the 7th day. I called today and Karen says they had trouble with a truck so it may be delivered next week. She cannot give me a date. I advised that I will be working next week and asked if I would get any compensation for the delay and asked to speak to the manager. I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to give them something. I was given a quote of $2050.00 for a 2 room apt. When speaking to the customer service to set up the move he asked what all I had, I told him. When it came to the time for the move Adrian called on Wed July 25th and stated they would be there on the 26th between 3-5 pm. Then about 300 pm on the 26th he called and stated that it would be closer to 530-600 pm. They finally get there at 618 pm. Adrian looked through my apartment and stated that it was going to cost me more, he stated that I didn't tell them I had boxes really am moving what did they think. I was told that I would be able to write a check when I arranged the move, part when they loaded and the rest when they unloaded. So I give him $2600.00 (thank goodness I had money on hand) and he wrote on the invoice $2200.00. So I called Adrian and told him, he stated that he counted it twice and only got $2200.00, I was a little suspicious when he said that he would count it. He did call me back and told me it was $2600.00, what if I hadn't caught it he would have never told me. When they were unloading one of the guys brought in pieces of wood that was a shelf. They never said anything about it. Upon unpacking I found other damaged pieces. I had all the boxes marked in the rooms in which they needed to go and they didn't pay any attention. They charged me $4500.00 that was more then twice the amount that I was quoted. I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I don't know how they have stayed in business. This is the first time I have ever used a moving company and I did cause I was moving 300 miles. But this experience soured me on moving companies. Don't use this company they're a scam. read more

Do NOT book with EZ Moving Group, Inc. They are a criminal company that will frustrate you along every step of your move. I booked with them and the day before pickup I was given an afternoon pickup window for the following day. I was contacted just before my pickup window and told that they would be a lot later than promised... At this point, I was losing confidence and contacted customer service to guarantee me a 1-2 day delivery on my items in writing. They said they would send me an email, which never happened. I called them again several hours later to ask for the guaranteed delivery window and again no one sent any information. Finally, my movers never showed up at their next promised window and I contacted them and they reassured me they would be there SOON... I asked for their location and they told me they were in a town 100+ miles away from my pickup destination eating. Therefore, I called customer service to cancel the move. They, then, finally guaranteed me a 2-4 day delivery window (not what I was promised when booking with them) and all of a sudden they were prepared to offer a discount. Their lack of professionalism and communication left me with no more confidence so I cancelled and asked for my $100 deposit back. No one followed through on this refund after I called 4 days in a row so I finally had the credit card company dispute the claim. Ultimately, a criminal organization that will gladly take your money, but they will fail to communicate with you and may or may not show up. Just be aware that if you book with them you will have many problems. It is worth mentioning too that they want 10% deposit of their quote as a deposit, 70% when they pickup, and the rest at delivery. However, they will not take credit card when they pickup or deliver so once you give them the 70%, its gone for good. NOTES: -Their ratings on movers.com is NOT correct. The website does not publish a lot of the bad reviews on the moving company and this is why they look like they have a stellar score... Don't believe it. -Some of the good reviews on here are actually meant for another company: EZ Movers, Inc... Just be aware some of the good reviews may not be intended for EZ Moving Group Inc.... read more

I finally received my things, more than two weeks after they guaranteed. I should start with the fact that they gave me a call a 10 PM the night before to tell me that they would be at my place first thing in the morning the next day. When they arrived, they couldn't find some of the hardware that they took apart when dissembling some of my furniture. My boxes and bins were destroyed, it looked like they kicked them around like soccer balls. And of course, they charged me extra to take a few things up to my second floor. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, under any circumstances. read more

DO NOT HIRE. THIS IS A RIP OFF. I AM CURRENTLY FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE ICC ON THIS COMPANY. Terrible company, terrible customer service, terrible pricing methods. I was quoted for $1300, end result was $4100 for one way move to storage from Chicago to Skokie. Storage was supposed to be free for one month and I was charged $600 without my approval or knowledge. I found out about this charge days later after looking at my credit card statement. I called to find out why I was charged and told by Kevin it's an automatic system for storage when they advertise one month free. I requested a refund and I'm still waiting for it to reflect on my credit card statement a week later. (My stuff was in storage for 3 days when I was charged). The move itself, Upon arrival, the driver backed up into my neighbors handicapped sign knocking it over just about and my neighbor called police on them. That ordeal was about an hour waiting for police and explaining and checking IDs. When deemed resolved, 5 guys jump out of truck and start quickly working. It was out of control/chaos! I had to call my mom to come over quickly to help observe these guys because they each went to a floor in my house and started packing stuff. Throwing stuff in boxes. I had no idea what was going where. They weren't asking. They were just throwing stuff in boxes. The foremen meanwhile is distracting me and tells me he foresees 11hrs worth of packing. Gets me to sign the paperwork on his tablet which I can't read or get a copy of. He's checking stuff off himself and telling me to initial here and there, that it's all official confirmation of moving, blah blah. I agreed as I didn't have time to negotiate as I had to be out of the house for my sale and the crew was moving stuff so fast. Total bill was $3000 for one way from Chicago to Skokie PLUS bogus $500 to relocate my things to the dock PLUS the unapproved $600 for storage that I'm still waiting for refund. I fed the guys pizza early on, they bullshitted with my mom and hour wasted on police business. I still got charged for 11 hrs when they started at 1130 and got done at 730 with a half hour break to eat and rests and play with their phones and talk to my mom and wait for police. Afterwards they stalled in front of my house bullshitting meanwhile the clock was running unbeknownst to me. HERES ADDITIONAL COMPLAINTS: MY HIGH SECURITY COMPANY WORK ID AND 2 CREDIT CARDS WERE STOLEN. THEY BUSTED MY BACK DOOR AND LOST THE HARDWARE FOR IT. THEY TRIED TO TAKE DOWN A COUCH AND RIPPED UP ALL THE WALL PAPER AND TRIM. WHEN THEY COULDNT GET THE COUCH OUT THEY LEFT IT UPRIGHT WITH NO LEGS. I HAD NO TOOLS TO PUT THE LEGS BACK ON. I AM 5'2" and had to flip the couch by myself. THEY DISMANTLED ALL MY FURNITURE AND LEFT THE HARDWARE LAYING AROUND. ***ALL MY FURNITURE HAS MISSING HARDWARE!!!! I did a final walk thru of the house after they left, I collected a ton of missing hardware, they left empty water bottles and TONS OF WRAPPING TAPE. I called to complain and got ZERO EMPATHY or credits or discounts -NOTHING EXCEPT BACKLASH AND BACK TALKING BY KEVIN. Kevin is the rudest, child like receptionist there. It was like arguing with my 17yr old son. He had a smart ass answer for everything. I threatened to go to social media and call ICC AND BBB to report my experience, the unfair "hidden" expenses charged, the bogus $600 charge, the damage, the experience with all their staff and he threatened to sue me. I was so upset he TOLD ME TO GET ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY. SO I Did!!! I got OTHER MOVERS and they said EZ MOVERS ARE "THE HOME BOYS OF THE MOVING/SHOPPING NETWORK" BC THEY ARE KNOWN FOR STEALING AND BOGUS CHARGES and RIPPING PPL OFF! I arranged for my new movers to get my stuff out of their storage and that was a nightmare. They would not release my stuff unless I paid the $500 docking fee IN PERSON which they didn't ever mention til the day of. I had to call my ex who is a cop to please go over there as I was prepping rooms for my move in new Lenox. My ex went over there and went thru hoops. He and my new Movers waiting for 2 hrs for EZ to let them in. I had to sign a release form. They couldn't send electronically meaning I had to find a printer on my off day from my new house in new Lenox just to sign their PDF release to send back over. Moving is stressful as it is. These ppl are all jerks and have no clue what they're going. They are super rude, and made this move SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE AND STRESSFUL. PLease, PLEASE research. Avoid these ppl by all means. They stressed me out to the point I couldn't breathe and just wanted to cry. I called the ICC in tears. They are helping me. And they knew Kevin snd Steven by their first names. I gather I'm not the only one reporting them!! DONT USE THEM. read more

WARNING!!!!!! If I could give these people negative stars I would. I was doing a 7 hour, 1 bedroom apartment move and I was quoted less than $1,000 initially. I had a uHaul as well which I fit 3/4 of my belongings in. They took some boxes, my bed frame and a table. By the end of my experience with them, I ended up paying almost 4 times what they quoted me (again...for some boxes, bed frame and table). They had already loaded the truck and gave me the new quote, so I literally had them take things off of the truck. On top of that, the men loading/unloading my things were super creepy towards me and I felt incredibly uncomfortable. I called and whoever I spoke with initially said she didn't 'recall' giving me such a low quote (I should have recorded the conversation). So I paid a portion (I believe 70%) and then my items were transferred to another truck that would then meet me at my new place. The driver (who I could barely understand), literally told me he would hold my items hostage until I paid the remaining balance IN CASH ($3,000). He said if I didn't pay that day, because he was on his way, he would put my items in storage which would be an additional $1,000 to remove my items and get them back to me. I almost called the police, but I just wanted to get it over with. So long story short, I ended up calling my bank so they knew I was taking that much out in cash. When my things arrived, the boxes were completely ripped and everything totally dirty. They were THROWING my boxes into my apartment. There were thick PLASTIC bowls, completely shattered, several broken glasses, chips in my table, etc. Total nightmare. Do NOT pay these people. If it seems too good to be true, than it probably is. I don't see a single good review, so please save your time, money and sanity. read more

OMG pls pls dont book with them. They are super nice in the beginning quoting you the lowest price. Then they hike it up when tbey arrive at your place. Mind you they arrived 5 hours late. They then delivered the items 7 days later. The driver "Boris" was a bully and super rude. He demanded to be paid in advance and give him extra $75 for the long distance. He came on his own. Ruined my bed with scratches all over it. He then didn't deliver my last item (instead replaced it with someone else stuff!) and ran off without assembling any of the furniture that was written in the contact. I had a great moving experience with Ez moving. Let me start of by saying how easy it was to get a quote. I had a large move, but I didn't want to break the bank. I have had experience with moving before, but I wasn't sure if I just wanted the truck or the moving crew too. Tracey my sales rep explained they could do the packing and moving. I was a little scared to allow them to do my packing because I didn't want anything broken. They answered all of my very detailed and concerned questions about my precious cargo. On pick up the crew moved quickly to pack and load the truck. It only took four and a half hours which isn't bad. They arrived as promised to move my things and arrived in a timely fashion at the destination. They called before pick-up and delivery to give me the ETA of the crew. I was so impressed with the customer service I received that I recommended them to my friends. Sure enough they went with the company also, and told me what a wonderful experience they had as well. If you want a great moving experience, go with Ez moving. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. DO NOT USE THEM. No one answers the phone and they lie about where your stuff is and when it will get to your new location. Customer service is rude and the manager sucks. My stuff was two weeks late and they never felt the need to let me know that it was gonna be late. Stuff was broken and they didn't give the driver my contact info so he had no way of letting me know when he had arrived. A terrible company that does not care about their customers. Don't use this company. Every piece of furniture and I mean everything is damaged. Tops of dressers are busted up. My rolltop desk is carved in. My bikes have missing pieces and the seat was pulled out. Boxes are damaged and look like they have been gone through. Literally everything is ruined. I have a brand new home with damaged furniture. I am talking items that can't be replaced. They even dented my washer and dryer. The boxes are torn and are open. I have tons of pictures. Second of all this company will cheat you as well. They will quote you one price on the phone, then get to your house and that price doubles when they see your stuff. Please don't use this company. They even had the audacity to ask us to make coffee and for a tip. Don't use them. If you value your stuff and don't want to be cheated. read more

Sales have promised to deliver my stuff on 7/29/2018 after picking up on 7/23 - 7/24/2018 after checking with their dispatch. they were prompt on picking my stuff on 7/24/2018. While creating the job I have given exact measurements for my furniture, number of boxes. I have even discarded some of the things that I have included in the job just to be on safer side. I have been told if I add any extra item, they will charge $4.50 per cubic feet. When the movers came to pickup our stuff, they quoted extra 1200 bucks, when I told them that why should I pay extra if I am using items less than quoted in the job, they said computer estimate is different than actual. They refused our request to pay for excess cubic feet as they have to add whole section. So we have discarded some furniture at the last minute to fit in the allotted space. When I called them on 7/30/2019, the agent told me that my stuff will be picked from storage on 8/3 which is friday and will be delivered in 3-4 days. I was disappointed asked about their promise and she said she has no idea and said sorry. I was patience and called them on Friday, to my shock they said they are not sure when my stuff is delivered as they have not heard from Dispatch. Took 7 days no answer. Asked me to call on Monday. I plead them that I am with 2 little kids and they are going through great discomfort and getting hard to manage them. I have called on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; (They customer lines are not working -- have to call sales several time to connect with customer care.. Literally spend 1 to 2 hours on call; with tears explained my situation). Every day they say sorry, will get back with answer by end of the day. I never received a call back during the whole episode. Requested to talk to a manager to escalate the issue, been told that every time same answer that he is not available and left a message and he will call as soon as he get a chance. You can imagine how much stress I have been through without knowing when I will receive my stuff. It was like hell managing kids day by day without their favorite toys. My family went through great discomfort. They never showed any courtesy to update the status. Finally on Friday they said my stuff will be picked on Monday or Tuesday will be delivered in 2 days. I have called on Monday and Tuesday; finally Tuesday they have confirmed that my stuff was picked from storage. I have received my stuff on 8/17/2018 after 25 days. My dresser was broken, when I contacted them to file the claim they gave incorrect information (movingclaims.net) which is not insurance. I hope they will see this review and do appropriate measures. My sincere request is DO NOT TRUST THEM. read more

I used EZ Moving Group to have some items shipped for Chicago to Los Angeles for my son. They picked up the items July 14, 2018, it is now July 25, 2018 and they have yet to contact my son or me! It has been almost 2 weeks and they still have not delivered the items, despite the fact I was told 6 or 7 days!!! This company is very unprofessional!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a scam. I had problems from start to finish. I was given a binding estimate over the phone and the company did not honor the estimate. I was charged over 3 times the original amount, despite the fact that I was not given a revised written estimate before any moving took place. According to the Know Your Move information, because I was not given that new estimate in writing, my original should have been reaffirmed. They didn't care. Trying to call this company after they picked up my stuff to discuss this billing issue was impossible. When I was able to get through, the customer service person hung up on me. I tried for roughly three weeks to get through and tried to email as well. When I was finally able to arrange the delivery for my items, they added an additional charge for "long carry" and threatened not to unload my items unless I paid. At that point I wanted these scam artists out of my life. And to top it off, they damaged my couch and lost one of my items. This was the worst experience of my life and I would never wish using this company on anyone. They are horrible and unprofessional and blatantly violating the law. Avoid at all costs. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. The crew didn't understand a word of English and worked incredibly slowly. Every time I asked a question, the response was "Ask Boris." They were late every day, and on one day didn't even show up. They wasted many, many hours of our time. Many items were missing from our shipment, including some of my son's clothes and all the glass from our china cabinet. I suspect that someone dropped the glass and broke it and then just ignored the fact that it was missing. They loaded the trucks haphazardly and sometimes just lobbed things on top of the load, breaking many things, including a chair that was a family heirloom. They stuffed items into boxes, including my wife's wedding dress, which was torn and stained. Instead of carefully packing garage items, they placed boxes at the end of a shelf and ran their arm along the shelf, dumping things into boxes. It was a complete mess. On delivery days, they showed up 6-8 hours late and whined about how hard the work was. On the last day of the move, the supervisor didn't even show up. We suspected that the crew was going to sneak out without finishing so we parked them in the driveway. They drove the moving trucks over the lawn and left without notice. They left multiple heavy items (workout equipment) in the garage instead of taking them down to the workout room. We had to hire some other people to finish the job. Calls to the HQ weren't returned or if I actually contacted someone, they were rude and unhelpful. Insurance was worthless and expensive. Do not hire them. I suspect that they are a criminal enterprise. read more

Please do NOT use this company. Pay the extra money with a reputable company just for peace of mind. I have a small shipment (two bedroom) move from Chicago to Alabama. They were very responsive before they had my deposit and my items. Once I paid them the 10% initial payment, then the 70% payment upon pickup, they stopped responding. I was told that my items will arrive no later than 10 days. On the 10th day, I've been trying to get ahold of them for an updated status and nobody can answer me. I've been put on hold for 30 minutes at a time and then they just hang up. There is one person (Karen) in customer service and she even went as far as blocking my phone number after so many times of me calling in. I called and the response was "your call cannot be dialed from your calling area, goodbye." Luckily, I have a business phone and called back on that number and magically it worked and I got through. I disguised my voice but as soon as she got my job number, she put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up again. Now that number is blocked from calling into their customer service. I am at a loss, I've been moved in to my new place but do not have any of my furniture. I had to go buy a new couch in order to have something to sleep on. PLEASE do yourself a favor and NOT book with this company. They are a scam! read more
