The selection in this store knocks my socks off every time I go in. My pair of Matsuda needed fixing and the owner did it for free in about 10 minutes. If you're looking for high end sunglasses there really isn't a better store in San Diego read more

Great service. Great products. They were so kind in helping students perfect sunglasses for my face.

I came to EyeStructure after lunch with my boyfriend. We were discussing getting a new pair of sunglasses and decided to visit EyeStructure. The store has a nice fish tank, and Keith was tidying up the sunglasses when we arrived. We found the Ray-Ban sunglasses that my boyfriend had been wanting; this model fits his face perfectly. Additionally, Keith was very helpful and informed us that this model was on sale with a good discount. The entire purchasing process with Keith was smooth and efficient. The value is worth it. I'll definitely come back here and strongly recommend EyeStructure for its excellent service. read more

I've been a customer of Eyestructure since moving to La Jolla in 2020 and have always found them to be a reliable, fair and knowledgeable eyewear source. What makes Eyestructure such a find is their followthrough and customer service, even after glasses have been delivered. Dealing with a local independent source is truly a rare find in today's online world. I would highly recommend Eyestructure for their technical ability, frame selection and pricing. Ian has always been the epitome of professionalism! read more

5 stars plus more. This place has a wide variety of sunglasses and optical glasses. Not the cheapest place in town but the service is amazing not to mention they got my prescription glasses to me in less than a week. I have bought over 6 pairs of sunglasses from Eye Structure and not once did I leave disappointed. Len is the man! . He knows what hes doing. Thanks and will be back. Customer for life. read more

Stopped in the store after an appointment down the street and was pleasantly surprised. They have an amazing selection of sunglasses and the guy working there, Ian, was extremely helpful. He helped me find shapes that I normally wouldn't try on and was very patient and nice. I never felt rushed or that I was being upsold. I will definitely be returning here in the future! read more

The staff was so incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and fixed a pair of sunglasses that I didn't purchase at the store. The selection of frames is impressive, very well-chosen. I have shopped here for years and wanted to leave a good review after last weekend's excellent experience. read more

I came in thinking I generally knew what I wanted. the gentleman there could've easily just sold me something, but instead he took the time to show me quite a few options. the selection was incredible and I ended up walking out with something that I was convinced was well thought out and fresh and new. not only did I learn more about what I like, I got something even better than I expected. thanks for putting the work in! read more

I walked into the store for the first time to get a pair of Persol sunglasses adjusted. The owner (or manager?) Was quick to tell me that all adjustments cost 10$ but I didn't hear any disclaimers around their liability around breaking glasses during repairs(he was not speaking clearly, he talked quickly and did not pause to emphasize the policy so he may have said something about liability in fairness). He proceeded to heat the plastic frame up to then make adjustments. He repeated the process of heating and adjusting a few times until he finally applied too much pressure and snapped the frame. The first words out his mouth were: "oh I broke them. there will be no charge for you".... I was stumped. Followed by a cover your ass non apologetic "Its our policy to decline responsibility for repairs" and finally a sorry towards the end. Wow. Speechless. Leaving this Yelp review to warn others about how conflicts are resolved at this store. Mistakes happen, how they are handled is what sets some stores apart from others. read more

I was a business traveler visiting San Diego. I stayed at a local hotel near by and I accidently sat on my eyeglasses. I went in to ask if they can help put my lense back into the frame and without hesitation, Mr. Len Miramontes said "sure, no problem, it will just take a second". He came back in less than 5 minutes and my lense was cleaned and put back into the frame. I asked what I need to pay for such a quick service and he said "nothing". Just like us on social media and tell others about us. In today's world, when Amazon is dominating in every category of retail and when consumers are visiting boutique retailers less and less, and where so many merchants and stores forgot about how to take care of their customers and people because they are losing money and hire inexperienced sales people to manage their store front, i found Mr. Miramontes so rate and refreshing. Gives me hope traditional boutique will win with heart and soul and not with price. Thanks you! read more

Bought some glasses off Lenny, great service. Nice guy. Great selection. Stopped by again and had Ian adjust some glasses I didn't buy there. He adjusted at no charge. If you are in La Jolla and need some glasses . This is the spot. read more

My glasses broke while I was on vacation, so I went in for a repair. Ian was very helpful and friendly, and he fixed my glasses in under five minutes. After that, he answered some questions I had about a beautiful set of wooden frames they had. They were a bit above my price point, but I was really impressed by how knowledgeable Ian was about the line and their production process. Excellent customer service, and I'd happily go again! read more

I began noticing recently that glasses have really become hip and cool and mine were definitely not. So I opened up my local La Jolla Blue Book and found Eyestructure - I literally have worked a few blocks from this business for years and yet I never knew it was there! Anyways I went in just to peak at some options and get some info and I came out with a great looking pair of glasses. They were really knowledgeable and gave me great insight and did so without making me feel like they just wanted the sale. Now not only can I see better but the glasses really suit my face and the girl there wouldn't let me settle on something that wasn't perfect. I usually get embarassed trying on 10 or 20 different glasses while starring in the mirror but she made me feel comfortable and it was the first time in my life that I didn't just rush through this process. Thanks Eyestructure! read more

Maybe telling a customer that she has to choose between glasses that cause migraines and being able to see is not the most... helpful? Just saying? (I've been wearing glasses for twenty years, mostly at my current prescription, so it also seems unlikely that no glasses exist that don't cause me pain. In that I currently have on a pair.) read more

I loved my transition lenses. However, the lens became unclear after 6 months. I went in and Len asked me if I wore my glasses when I used a hair dryer or was I around a heat source. I was mystified that the coating was so delicate I shouldn't wear my glasses when drying my hair. I wasn't told when I purchased my glasses to be careful around a "heat source". I am very unhappy. If I had been told how sensitive the transition coating was, I might have decided not to get it. I will not return to this optical shop. read more

Huge fan of Eyestructure...Lenny spent nearly a half hour with my wife and I trying to correct an issue we had with glasses she obtained from Golden Triangle Optometry. We were referred to Lenny by one of my wife's coworkers, for whom we owe a great thanks. Lenny was able to make a correction to the lenses and my wife feels the glasses are now good to go. I tried to compensate Lenny for time he spent with us and he wouldn't accept our money. First rate across the board. read more

Ian was super helpful. They were able to repair my glasses quickly and offer a great selection of designer sunglasses.

I strolled in here on a Saturday afternoon. Len was very friendly, I didn't feel rushed or pressured! He obviously has a great eye for style and was excited to show me different styles that he thought would suit me. He ended up showing me a pair of Thom Brownes that I immediately fell in love with. Overall it was a great experience. They have an awesome selection of designer shades and I will definitely be stopping through there again. read more

A few weeks ago, I randomly walked in during a day trip to La Jolla because I've been needing to get my glasses adjusted. Ian was the person who helped me out that day -- he was super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable! He adjusted my glasses as well as my boyfriend's free of charge, and taught us that these kind of glasses adjustments are necessary and routine from time to time. He also took the time to answer our other questions. We were so grateful to have had such a great experience! If we were locals, we would totally go back and support this business -- I have no doubt that they'll have reliable service, whether it's for replacing your lenses or purchasing new frames. Lastly, I felt very safe inside the store from a public health standpoint. Ian seemed to be the only person present and he was wearing a mask properly. read more

I went into EyeStructure, to have my Prada Sunglasses repaired. I had read great reviews on YELP, & I live in La Jolla, so I went there. As IAN was preparing the work order to fix my sunglasses, he casually mentioned, " I have a great style of sunglasses, that would look great on you". I had NO intention, of purchasing new sunglasses. But I tried them on, and right away, there was such a difference, in the way they felt, and fit, on my face. I bought them, and I LOVE them. I have gotten compliments on them, every day I have worn them. IAN is really fantastic. I highly recommend EyeStructure. read more

Great place!! Did an amazing job adjusting my glasses. Len was wonderful and so helpful! Highly recommend!

I just bought two pairs (one for my son and one for myself) of Salt optical eyeglasses at Eyestructure and I couldn't be more pleased. Keith did a fantastic job of pointing us in the right direction when it came to flattering styles and David made the rest of the process (we had to return with updated prescriptions) absolutely seamless. My glasses were promised mid-week, but were ready by the weekend. David took special care to make sure that the new glasses fit properly and also made sure that the prescription was correct. I highly recommend Eyestructure. The glasses are pricey, but the selection and service (at least in my mind) justify the price. And unlike the place down the street, they actually include a bottle of cleaning solution and an extra cloth with your purchase. read more

So nice and didn't try to upsell! I came in seeing if I could find a quick inexpensive pair of sunglasses since I forgot mine for my trip. I couldn't find what I was looking for and instead Eyestructure offered to clean and tighten the spare pair I had with me. This was a really nice gesture and very appreciated. Though I didn't buy anything it looks like they have a great selection and clearly great customer service. Thank you! read more
