Dr. Han was amazing, she really listened to my concerns, was very personable, and actually spent time to get to know me, unlike most doctors who are in and out. Susan the manager was also really passionate about her job and helped me pick two fantastic pairs of glasses. Although, they don't have name brands like Gucci, Versace, Prada. They have some designers I've never heard of that also have nice frames and I was able to pick something trendy. The office is also spotless and they have fancy new machines I haven't seen at my old school doctors place. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend it.

They are highly ethical and treat both their patients and staff with the utmost respect. I have been examined by Dr. Wood for floaters. I am developing a cataract (fortunately does not need surgery) but when the time comes I would travel to Arlingon Heights from Chicago. They have the most up to date technology including laser cataract surgery.

I was with two toddlers :O) and he still did an excellent job, as well as took time to talk a bit to my over-talkative toddler, showed him some "Gears" and let him press a button (my toddler wants to come back again!) Not that I am recommending coming with toddlers, but just saying that my eyes were checked thoroughly under not so optimal conditions and Dr Socwell bedside manners were excellent too. Natalia helped me choose my frames (I liked three, we narrowed it down to one in 10 min or less). I picked them up today and they are great. Natalia did absolutely brilliant job there. I had to wait a bit for Natalia to complete all the computer forms/verify insurance etc, but another young lady Nora stepped in and helped to speed up that process. I would have liked a bit more explanation from Natalia regarding actual lenses, since on all the upgrades I was not covered by my insurance and I wasn't sure if I needed all three upgrades. Nora explained one upgrade to me (even showed me her glasses to make me understand the difference better), but I was not her client so on the other two upgrades I just trusted Natalia without explanation... Those two lenses upgrades were over $200 extra, so a little explanation as to it's purpose would have been nice... Don't get me wrong, my prescription sunglasses look great, and I am very happy with them, but I still wander if I could skip at least one upgrade and save myself some money... so be aware and ask questions when it comes to lenses upgrades. Nora helped me with the contact lenses. She was absolutely phenomenal in training me how to put contacts in and take them out of my eye (since it was A long time since I used contacts). That young lady has some serious patience and excellent sense of humour. I learned to put lenses in and out of my eyes in 20-25 minutes with some very good tips from Nora. Overall, this is my second time dealing with Rosin Eyecare and I will definitely come back again even though it's a bit far for me. Just for your information: 1. I would recommend choosing weekdays morning/daytime (if you have that luxury) or first thing in the morning on weekend. It's not too busy and everything is very well timed and you don't have to wait at all. 2. Ask questions when it comes to lenses upgrades (you might not want or need them and those upgrades are not cheap) 3. my insurance doesn't cover contact lenses and the prices without insurance at Rosin Eyecare are a bit high (nearly 50% higher comparing to Costco or online retailers for exact same contacts)... They might price match, I didn't ask (that was my mistake, but it was my first time getting contacts and I had no idea prices can vary that much). I think next batch of contacts I might get from Costco wholesales or online :))) but for everything else I will use Rosin Eyecare, excellent doctor and very helpful front desk!

I'm the only pt in the waiting room but I figure maybe the dr is running late. I go up and ask what the status is for the appointment and Mellisa says it may be 2 to 3 hours." I said did you say 2-3 hours? And she said yeah ... then the other desk admin employee said yeah it's not unusual to wait for appointments for 2-3 hours sir. I said both of you have to be kidding. I said I want to talk to an office manager and they said she wasn't there and I said I will just stand here until someone comes and explains to me why I will be waiting 2-3 hours for an appointment I Made months ago. After another 20 minutes my dr comes out and she looks irritated doesn't greet me and says "come back with me" I said no I want to talk about this out here. I said why do you have staff telling people it will be a 2-3 hour wait for a scheduled appointment and she said I can't come in here and snap my fingers I said what is the reasonable time to wait for an appointment? 15, 20, 30 minutes? fine, but not 2-3 hours that tells me you double or triple booked me in and now I have to spend half a day to be seen that's not ok. She said I was told when I booked the appointment it could take that long to be seen and I asked where in the documents I signed does it say that and I would not have made the appointment if that had been said upfront. I said I do not have a personal problem with anyone there but that their policy of doing this to someone is not ok and they either need to actually tell me people up front or see people in a reasonable time. I was referred to Dr Epstein in 2023 for a procedure called Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL). As I was tired of my eyes being tired all the time from contacts and glasses, plus the inherent risks of wearing them at my job I pursued the surgery with Dr Epstein and Chicago Cornea. First off, I could not be happier with staff at the offices. They were professional and kind and I rarely had to wait long to be seen. Second off, Dr Epstein was great to work with. He was able to answer every question and I never felt uncomfortable. Now to answer the question about ICL. I could not be happier with the results of the surgery. Within days of the surgery I was able to see "normally", which I had not experienced since I was 8 years old. 14 months later and my eyes are 20/20. I do not experience tired or dry eyes and I do not have problems with bright lights and "haloing" as several of my friends and family experience still from LASIK and PRK. Ultimately I feel the ICL surgery is a life saver for me and my job as I need to be able to see in great detail and in any conditions without fail. If you are not a candidate for LASIK or PRK, do not hesitate to see if you are a candidate for ICL. My only regret is not finding the procedure sooner (it's been around for quite some time).
