I had a really good experience at this office. I was looking for a new eye doctor because the one I've had for years was dismissive to my concerns and with my job it's imperative that I can actually see properly. Dr. Han was amazing, she really listened to my concerns, was very personable, and actually spent time to get to know me, unlike most doctors who are in and out. Susan the manager was also really passionate about her job and helped me pick two fantastic pairs of glasses. Although, they don't have name brands like Gucci, Versace, Prada. They have some designers I've never heard of that also have nice frames and I was able to pick something trendy. The office is also spotless and they have fancy new machines I haven't seen at my old school doctors place. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend it. read more

Loved dr Han .founder and owner of, until last year . I came in for my annual visit. Have my new prescription done with their lab, however they ruined my frames and some toppers . I did get reinforcement. I made my annual appointment for this year I was told dr Han was only in on Friday, so I made an appointment for late September. Last week I got a call from the office saying I should have received a letter stating they fired me as a client, and told me dr Han was no longer there. So they ruined my frames, they reimbursed me for the error, am I get fired. That's great management? I would be Leary to see the "doctor there" I was a patient since they opened. Beware!!! read more

The front desk people and assistants are knowledgeable and very helpfuk. Dr. Hahn is great to work with. She possesses a rare combination of skills--she is smart, intuitive, friendly, has a keen memory, and is a straight shooter. Today J met District Manager Michele who demonstrates top notch, refreshing leadership skills. read more

Dr. Anita Han was really great. She is super friendly, personable and explained what each part of the exam was for. I'm really glad that I found this place on Yelp and I recommended others come here too. The other staff are also great and communicated with me when there was an earlier appointment available that day. read more

Finding a any kind of provider is incredibly difficult. I loved my last optometrist but did not like anything or anyone else at that facility. Life forced me to make a decision when last year I found out my primary optometrist was moving and I knew I didn't want to stay with anyone else in that office anymore. I scrambled to find a new optometrist since I was out of contacts but I struggled because I'm incredibly and annoyingly picky. I want someone that seems knowledgeable and experienced but not dated. I definitely want a place that's clean. A polite bedside manner is preferable. I especially wanted someone to believe me. I have had such a weird experience with my vision with having lazy eye, diplopia, etc.; I just want someone to believe me when I say I don't see as well as I believe I can. I got very lucky with Dr. Han at Focal Point. I previously avoided Korean eye doctors due to previous bad experiences, but I saw this clinic had good reviews and gave it a shot. I feel so blessed because I have now found an optometrist I can truly trust and believes me when I say something is off about my sight. Dr. Han listened to my concerns, needs, and even helped me try different prescriptions. I haven't purchased my contacts yet because I'm trying the different prescriptions still but she even let me know about rebates and savings I would get. I'm so incredibly grateful. Five stars for any patient care facility is a BIG DEAL for me so trust me when I say I recommend Focal Point to everyone. read more

Doctors and receptionist are good. The bad thing is there is no return policy and they use the frames that are on display but say that they are costume made. Should atleast clean off the price sticker residue. read more

Love love love Dr. Han! Amazing with my kiddos and so thorough with me! Only drawback is she's out of network for me but I bite the bullet and go anyway! That's how much I recommend coming here read more

I've been going to Focal Point Eyecare for over 5 years. Dr Han is great and the staff is incredibly helpful.

Super impressed with this newly opened place! I had seen pictures online if the place and no filter is required. The decor is so pretty inside and feels so homey and not like an office. I was greeted by the Jackie ( who ran my initial tests) and dr han who are both really nice and funny! I have a huge phobia of eye exams because of the eye puff test. Some people handle it well but I can't stand it and I can barely open my eyes out of fear. Here, no need! Their equipment seems very modern and updated and the initial tests were very easy. No eye puff test! Woohoo! My eye exam with dr han was also very pleasant. She was so knowledgeable and explained every part of the exam so thoroughly. I have been to eye doctors for years and often leave half-aware of what's really going on with my eyes. Dr han was amazing and I felt like for the first time knew why my prescription was the way it was, etc. I can't recommend this place enough! I highly recommend dr han and FocalPoint! read more

Seriously so happy that I found Focal Point Eyecare. From the receptionist Sue, and my experiences with both Dr Han and Dr Hutchins, I have finally found an eye doctor that my family and I will continue to visit. I even called while they were closed and Dr Han was still so friendly and helpful. They are all incredibly friendly, informative, and knowledgeable with insurance and options. The real kicker for me was how patient everyone was with my children. I came in for a visit for myself, my 5 year old and my 3 year old. In case you didn't know, 3 and 5 year olds tend to squirm and don't always cooperate. Dr Hutchins was amazing! Everyone at Focal Point was so patient and kind and encouraging. They made my kids feel comfortable and even had smiles on their faces during their exams. read more

Top of the top. #1: All the latest machinery and technology. They continue to reinvest in their business, something so vital in a field where there are major new advances constantly. #2: All offices have a culture. I've been in eye care places where they were about as thrilled to see me as the charming folks at the State of Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles. With these folks, it starts at the top, and is reflected in the attitude and disposition of each employee on down. Everyone truly is so personable, and nice. My opinion is that you won't be taking a wrong turn to try these folks out. read more

Love going here because of Dr. Han's professional yet personable style. It's beautiful, selection of glasses is top notch (I love my glasses), and staff overall is very inviting and knowledgeable. read more

Don't waste your money at LensCrafters - come here instead! I went to see Dr Hutchins and it was a great experience. First off, Sue (office manager) is very passionate about eye care and did her best to make the tests as comfortable and fun as possible. Secondly, Dr Hutchins went through all the tests and helped me understand more about my eyes and went into detail about every aspect. In any business relationship, you always want to have competence and trust. The competence is clearly there but the best part is that they are so genuine and trustworthy. You could tell their core value is not in capitalism but really helping the patient. read more

From start to finish, I was really pleased with the process. When you walk into their office, you notice right away that it's clean, modern and relaxing - which puts you in a good mood right away. Their front manager Susan is very helpful in getting the proper work started while you wait for the doctor. Our doctor Anita Han was very pleasant to work with. She explains everything as we are getting our eyes examined and shared all the options with us. You can tell she really cares about her patients and loves what she does. Did I mention that the examining room as well as their bathroom is immaculately clean? Thank you! read more

I am a patient of Dr Hutchins and her professionalism and personable manner are reason alone to become a patient here. Add to this the new and comfortable office, modern technology and support staff (Jackie helped my wife pick the best glasses - not the most costly). In only two visits I have learned more about the health of my eyes than all my prior eye care visits with other practicioners. Highly recommend this practice for those seeking a new eyecare home! read more

There are so many reasons to love Focal Point Eyecare. Right when I entered, the place was very clean and was greeted by such a friendly staff. I had an appointment with Dr. Han and she was amazing. She's friendly, kind, and most importantly, she really cares about her patients. She was very thorough in my eye examination and she explained everything. You can really tell that she cares about her patients and her practice by the way she interacts with them. I also felt like that were very transparent with what types of lenses I should have and what would be best for me. Definitely recommend this place :) read more

Dr. Han is the most responsible eye doctor I have ever met. After the eye exam, she asked me to put on the contacts and I found one of the eyes was too strong. Then she checked again until my vision was crystal clear, not only through the eye exam lenses but with real contacts. I literally feel like I am a different person when I walked out of the office because I could see so much better! Thanks! read more

Dr. Anita Han is the best optometrist we have been to. She caught real concerns in my eye that were never mentioned or checked by multiple other optometrists. She has the equipment that looked into my eye and caught issues that should've been found much earlier. My wife and I took our parents there too because they have eye issues at their age and immediately responded to how they want to come to her now because they felt cared for and found out more about the condition of their eyes, than from other doctors over the years. My father-in-law wants to come to her when he visits from St. Louis even! She really cares for each patient and is so personable. On a side note, she has helped our whole family choose glasses each year and has a really good eye and glasses selection! Her staff is super helpful, friendly and knows their stuff! Best experience we have had with optometrists and it is all so easy. We definitely feel like our eyes are in great care with her. We refer her to everyone because we took our eye care for granted though we are only in our 40s, and she has taken great care of us and helped prevent any eye conditions to worsen! Can't recommend her enough! read more

Great customer service, nice front store and patient rooms, excellent equipment and kind and friendly Drs. Probably the most thorough eye exam I've had. Will return again! Thank you read more

I have been going to lenscrafter for so long and always getting the wrong prescription. My right eye was always blurry and itchy. Nothing was done to fix this problem until I came to focal point. Dr. Han listened and looked into my eye and finally figured out what was wrong with it and I can see clearly!! the amount of time they give in between patients is amazing too. They give ample time to spend with their patients and to give the best care. Change your eye care and get the attention your eyes need! read more

Great optometrists and office! I saw Dr Hutchins and she was extremely thorough and professional and took the time to explain everything. Sue the front receptionist was extremely friendly, organized and courteous. Office was very clean and pleasant aesthetics. Dr. Han is incredible! It is super easy to get an appointment, the support staff are on the ball and incredibly helpful. Dr. Han is so great at what she does. My eyes are incredibly sensitive and I'm usually nervous about getting my eyes checked, but Dr. Han is great and very thoughtful...I've never had such an easy eye exam. Can't recommend highly enough! read more

I was getting really frustrated at another eye doctor's office, because they just couldn't seem to get my prescription right. I went to Dr. Han and she nailed it! It was a great experience. She was very attentive and professional. Lots of different stylish frames to choose from. It's also the most beautifully decorated eye care center you can find anywhere, too! Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Han caught my daughter's exotropia during an eye exam (though our previous long-time optometrist did not) and she is now getting therapy for it and on her way to better, less-strained eyesight! So thankful for her expertise and great service. Never going to another optometrist again! You guys are the best!! read more

I can't recommend this place enough! First off, it's gorgeous. It really steps up the eyeglass shopping experience. When I walked in, I was worried that the prices would be significantly higher than what I pay at Costco. However, I was floored to see that the frames are "hipper" and about the same prices as the wholesale warehouse. Lastly, Dr. Han and the woman who helped me were incredibly friendly and kind. I will definitely return here for my contacts and any future eyeglass needs. read more

I haven't been to an optometrist in forever after doing the whole lasik surgery years ago but I was in need as my son needed an eye exam for his new elementary school. Dr. Han came highly recommended from several friends and I was not disappointed. The way in which she interacted with my 6 year old was nothing short of heart warming. Even the testing she used for parts of his exam were super kid friendly and the overall atmosphere of the entire space was super warming and not what I used to remember of the places I used to go to! I definitely know where I will be going for any and all future needs! read more

Dr. Anita Han is amazing. I brought my 6 year old daughter in for a routine check up. Anita discovered an issue with her eyes that we had thought was a possible learning disability that was causing her to have trouble with reading. She had a fantastic rapport with the little one, and spent almost two hours with her for the examination. Anita even went so far as to call our insurance company to help find a vision therapist in our network that she knew had a good reputation. It is our third time seeing Anita and she always goes way above and beyond. Thank you Anita! read more

Focal Point is great! The new patient setup is thorough and electronic. Can book appointment easily online. They used high tech equipment I've never seen used before that told the health of my eyes and even of my diet! Dr. Han & staff is kind and helpful and the glasses selection is awesome! I ended up with 2 pairs! They have sunglasses too. I will definitely come back again. Also happy to support this local woman owned business! read more

I have ordered my glasses here and I also had several contact lens fittings. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Han. She is personable, thorough, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. Even on a busy Saturday, she gives you personal service and takes the time to customize contact lenses that are perfect for you. I was also pleased with the prices and excellent service when ordering my glasses. There are many appealing frame choices and prices are reasonable. Came to Dr. Rachel on a referral and WOW, was I glad I did! Walking in as the first guest of the day, it was quiet, but Sue greeted me with a very friendly smile, and was very accommodating. I've worn glasses since I was six, and now almost forty, Dr. Rachel informed me of some things I never knew about my eyes. I feel my vision is in VERY safe hands with Dr. Rachel. Once we talked, she walked me to the lobby to discuss some frames while Sue was busy. She wasn't too bothered to help out as the doctor. Once Sue was free, Dr. Rachel handed me off and Sue completely took care of getting me in the right glasses. Dr. Rachel even gave me some options for getting back into soft contact lenses, from hard (WHICH ARE VERY PAINFUL!). My overwhelming feeling after visiting Sue and Dr. Rachel is that they were super smart, cared about me, and were genuinely appreciative that I chose them as my Doctor. I am for sure returning, telling my wife and anyone else who will listen to see these ladies! Hidden gems! read more

I'm a patient of Dr. Han's from her last practice and needed to get an eye exam and contacts before I went out of town. I called them, and although Dr Han wasn't available the same day, they were able to get me in for an appointment with Dr. Hutchins within just 15 minutes! The location was very easy to find, right off Milwaukee ave. I was very impressed with their showroom, selection of designer glasses and sunglasses, as well as their superior service! Even though I was technically a new patient at this location, they had me in and out in about 30 minutes total, including a really high-tech retinal exam. Dr. Hutchins was very informative and taught me a lot about my eyes & vision. Before I left, I inquired about their prices on contact lenses, and was able to save almost 25% vs. what I usually paid online. They even worked with my insurance company and delivered the contacts to my door (I have an unusual base curve that usually isn't in stock, but they even hooked it up with some trial pairs!!). Overall, I had a great experience at Focal Point Eyecare, and would highly recommend them to anyone for their visual care needs. read more
