I Have been going to Dr Gustafson for more than 10 years . His ENTIRE staff is very patient and thorough with the eye exams. Dr Gustafson and his staff actually listen to me regarding my vision needs or problems. Staff is great at getting me the glasses I wanted. When I need new lenses the turn-around time is about a week. When I needed new lenses in my magnetic clip on sunglasses it took less than a week also. I have also gone to Dr Gustafson for other eye medical issues besides vision correction and received appropriate medical diagnoses and medication. Some people are complaining about the retinal photo price. This is a very worthwhile procedure since it gives the doctor a better look into your eye to hopefully catch any vision problems before they cause partial or full vision loss. Most patients will not appreciate this great technology until they watch a family member try to treat vision loss that was treatable. The prices are normal and what I would expect for the good thorough personalized service you receive. I do not have vision insurance and pay for the services upon leaving. Remember this is a business not a charity organization! Customers seem to forget that businesses have many expenses. Businesses pay rent/ maintenance/ mortgage. Businesses also pay payroll to employees ,payroll taxes, and insurance. Dr Gustafson also has several thousands of dollars in eye exam equipment and many years of education and experience. read more

I have been a patient for 20+ years! And will continue to be no matter what! I trust the doctors immensely! I had a scare with my vision this past October and dr Buranosky called it the second we spoke. Both dr Buranosky and dr Gustafson talked it over. And after then seeing a neurologist and having tests done it turned out to be exactly what dr Buranosky said he thought it was. I really feel they saved my vision. And everyone made me feel at ease and cared for. I've been to dr Gustafson since I was a kid, and always felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Gustafson used to be at The Optical Center. I started seeing him in the late 80's. Before that, I never saw the same eye doctor for more than one or two visits (had worn glasses/contacts since junior high school). The first time I saw Dr. Gustafson, I liked him immediately. He was friendly and did a great job of fitting me for contacts and glasses. This has continued over the years through several vision changes. I am now in bifocal contacts and I love them (Ciba Vision Air Optix - Multifocal). Dr. Gustafson supplied me with samples before I purchased them, so I was able to make sure I liked them. I've also seen other doctors that worked with Dr. Gustafson and have been very happy with them. The office staff is wonderful. My husband has also been going to Dr. Gustafson for years and my mother saw him for the last several years of her life (both went based upon my recommendation). read more

I struggled with a severe case of Dry Eye which damaged my corneas. I was unable to keep my eyes open for long periods of time & was extremely sensitive to light. For 2 years I visited eye doctors trying to get help being faithful to fulfill their protocal with no improvement. Doctors Buranosky & Gustafson recommended I have a serum made from the oils of my own blood. Withing 3 days I felt relief. I've been going to Dr. Gustafson for many years and am very pleased with his work. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. I believe he is a very good O.D. I've always been impressed with the technology in his office. I moved to the area in August, and tried Gustafson for the convenience. Sometimes you get lucky! I could not be happier with the staff, expertise, service, doctor, etc. When I initially walked in, I was immediately greeted by Dana. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
