Above and beyond what I expected. Great selection from more modest priced frames to titanium designer wear. The service was impeccable. Cindy went above and beyond ordering frames she thought I might look good in and just kept trying until I found the right pair. I really appreciate the extra time that was spent. Their lenses are quality and if you don't know there is a difference between different lenses. The lens you get it Pearle vision or Costco is not going to be the same as what you would get here. I know this is true because I have a pair of glasses in one of the lenses started shattering in the corner. It of course will not be covered by the store and purchase them from. Why they shattered was the way they were manufactured and probably the quality of the lenses as well. Although you hear it all the time I don't think you would be disappointed if you tried them. read more

Recently I had my yearly diabetic check up with my ophthalmologist and he strongly suggested I wear my glasses all the time. He also said I would benefit using progressive lenses, and was adamant that I use reputable location so you get a quality lens and quality guidance ... well I had been dealing with Adam Keno (focused eye care) for years and when I said this to the Dr. he gave a big thumbs up. It's a little bit far from our house but I don't care if I drive 30 mins as long as I'm treated well and my doctor is very knowledgeable. Dr. Goldberg is an amazing eye doctor I will keep coming back here. Our insurance refer us to 2 other places and when I checked on their reviews it was bad but they're only like 5 -10 mins drive. But I choose to drive a little far I didn't care as long as I get the best doctor and best experienced. Very nice receptionist and very clean office. read more

So happy that I found Focused Eye Care. They don't even compare to any of the corporate eye doctors I've been to! I typically hate male doctors, but I felt very comfortable with Dr. Goldberg. He was very kind and took his time; I didn't feel rushed at all. The entire staff was wonderful. The woman up front helped me find a great looking pair of glasses. I really appreciate that they carry some ethical brands... and Kate Spade. They had plenty of frames to fit my petite face, though they had some larger frames too. If you're looking for an optometrist that can provide a basic eye exam, Dr Goldberg is an adequate choice. If however you ever run into a problem between your annual exams and need his guidance, then be advised - Dr Goldberg is a terrible choice that you will live to regret. I recently had a problem i needed his guidance on and he refused to call me to discuss it, instead communicating through one of his employees, Cindy (highly unresponsive and not customer friendly), that he would only speak to me if i scheduled another exam (only a few months after my last one). This recent experience put his nature on full display - not there when you need him, unprofessional approach putting billing his patients over their needs, and most importantly - uncaring. He should seek a different occupation, one that is better suited for him - as sensitivity to his patients concerns make him unqualified to provide health care. My strong recommendation is this: there are many competent and caring optometrists available - avoid Dr Goldberg. read more
