Extremely kind and diligent staff who have great knowledge of their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an eye doctor

She's so kind and always willing to hear me out and help fix an issue while I have one. The administrative staff here is also very nice. I can honestly say I've never had an issue booking an appointment. The office is clean, spacious and I get seen within a reasonable of time as well. Everyone wears masks and you don't feel like your health is jeopardy when you walk in here. I will continue to come here for all my eye care needs. I would definitely highly recommend this place for anyone who wants good, optimal eye health. I dare say that it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for here so I believe the services you receive are well worth the money.

My follow up appointments with Dr Belasco were positive experiences. He answered all my questions with good detail , never rushed me and seemed to really care about my recovery. Showed compassion and empathy for me when I was in pain. I also always get timely call backs from the nurses/ surgery coordinator's when I need assistance .

The 40s have brought bags to my eyes among many other joys of aging (i partly blame my 3 children…read more:)). One of my friends mentioned she had a great consultation with Dr. Tamara Fountain about a lower blepharoplasty so I decided to do the same. I also noticed that she was highly recommended on a fb group i had joined all about blepharoplasty, although the pics of people post surgery on that fb group were enough to make me want to cancel my appointment. I was able to get an appointment a few weeks after calling. Her office is conveniently located near my house, which I liked since the other doctors i was referred to were in the city or far suburbs. I was seen within minutes of arriving for my appointment. They did an eyesight test which i wasn't expecting and didn't put my contacts in that morning (and my glasses were in the car). So i highly recommend bringing any corrective eyewear you have. Dr. Fountain did a great job of explaining why i have bags (thank you genetics). She then told me she didn't think I needed surgery for many years and I really appreciated her honesty. She did show me some more post surgery pics to properly scare me about future surgery, but I do appreciate knowing what I would be getting myself into. She suggested looking into med spa treatments and even gave me some names (one located within her office) and said to come back years from now...and in the meantime to send my mom. :) Overall, I was really impressed with the way she explained everything and her honesty. I'd highly recommend if on the hunt for an ophthalmologist.

It was difficult to find a surgeon willing to attempt a revision to correct the issue caused by the initial surgery and it will take at least two surgeries to improve the asymmetry.

Zero stars - Lack of or no communication. No call backs or late callbacks and it's too late to do…read moreanything. Wrong information sent to insurance. Blame patient or other departments. No sense of urgency after office delay. Was prescribed a prescription on 12/24/2025 that has been an ordeal w/ lack of communication from the doctor's office and wrong information being sent to the insurance company causing the prescription to be pending/delayed for a few days/week which I was trying to get it before the new year and ASAP because my eyes were hurting. After my appointment, found out that the prescription is not covered by my insurance plan. Called the doctor's office to ask if there is another prescription. Did not get a call back but saw they changed it. The new prescription was still not being filled. Called the pharmacy and was told that it requires prior authorization. Called my insurance plan to know if a prior authorization was received and they didn't have one. Called my doctor's office again to request a prior authorization and for it to be sent as urgent as instructed by the pharmacy and insurance company. Called my doctor's office again a couple of days later at least twice as well as calling the pharmacy and insurance company. My doctor's office did not return any phone calls after one voicemail to call them back which I did several times. In the morning on 12/31/2025, the insurance company has not received a prior authorization. The pharmacy is still waiting for approval from the insurance company. Finally on the last day of the year someone from my doctor's office calls me and says they sent a prior authorization as urgent and that they only received two voicemail messages. I said I called multiple times a day and left messages as well as left messages w/ the front desk. She kept saying I didn't. She said she would send the prior authorization as urgent. I called the insurance plan and they received it as standard and not urgent. The likelihood of it being filled today, the last day of the year is slim to none because it was marked at standard. The pharmacy is closed early today and is closed tomorrow. This is insane! A patient should not have to get this involved w/ prescriptions and not be blamed for not receiving all the voicemail that were left. If two were received, that should be enough. If a request for a phone call and status are requested, call back. I do not recommend this office bc of the faulty staff. I don't know about the doctor bc I only had one appointment. Was not able to get the prescription today bc the person at my doctor's office did not send it as urgent and marked it as standard even though she said it was sent as urgent. I was also informed that they have to request an exception. This could have all been started last week when I first called the office regarding this. For me to pay out of pocket, it will cost over $1000.00. This could have been avoided if someone called me back after all the messages I left and sent the prior authorization last week and/or as urgent today.
