Great customer service. Everyone working was super friendly and helpful. My vision insurance was accepted and I got a great deal on my prescription glasses. Great place and highly recommend! read more

Our first time there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office was very clean and prices are pretty reasonable.

Stephanie is awesome and so helpful. I had normally gone to Monte Vista Optometry but moved to Modesto and was drawn in by the 2 for 78 deal. I got contacts and two glasses for a great price. I came back in when my glasses got damaged and with the protection plan only paid forty for a whole new pair (and they were very badly damaged). Loved my experience so much I made my boyfriend an appointment. They are so flexible with scheduling he as able to come in the next day. He had a great experience as well and got glasses and sunglasses also for a great deal. We love it here and will keep coming back! I'm not sure what the male managers name is but when I had called in about getting my glasses fixed he was very friendly and accommodating. He checks in during your visit to make sure everything is going well. Overall a great place with great staff! Thanks so much guys :) read more

The staff is great and they give you your eye prescription when you leave. I've had to fight just to get my prescription from other places. I also needed them within a week and they got them in before that. A person and a machine called me to make sure I was told about my glasses. read more

Everyone here was SOOO sweet! When I came in for my appointment I was greeted right away by everyone in the room. After my checkup I picked out a couple of pairs of glasses and they were ready in the same day! I only waited ONE HOUR for them. The two frames that I picked out were $200 each. My total came out to $190 FOR BOTH. Amazing experience with all five people I talked to. read more

First experience, and it was a wonderful one. I was greeted and assisted immediately upon entering. The associate took notes of what I was looking for and brought me some glasses to try on, and helped me find me the perfect pair. I was actually so impressed by his selection I would have come home with several of them if I could. To share a little about how they went above and beyond to help me, I'd like to add that I had my baby and my 3 year old with me when I walked in. I was carrying my sleeping baby in his car seat. The attendant assisting me offered me a chair to place the baby on. That was a really nice gesture. He also offered my 3 year old a coloring book and gave him a spot to sit at. Again, super nice gesture. I can't remember walking into any store where they made me feel this supported shopping with young kids in tow. I would recommend Eyeglass World to anyone again and again. Both the service and professionalism are outstanding. read more

I want to thank RJ for helping me with my glasses! The staff at this Eyeglass World were awesome. They were all friendly and answered all my questions. Thank you again RJ for all your help! read more

I would not recommend this place to any of my family and friends at all. The service is so unprofessional and the price is not what they advertise. I purchased two pairs of glasses. I got one pair right a way, however for the second pair I was told to wait for two weeks. That's not a problem. The problem was not the glasses that I chose . They insisted that what was my choice. I chose two pairs exactly the same brand, and style, but different in colors. One brown, one black. They are not what they seem. So the next time I'll order online like I'd done before. read more

I went to purchase one pair of glasses at Eyeglass World and walked out with two pair of coach glasses excellent price you can't beat the customer service that is offered there by Dorothy and Jasmine. This is my new eyeglass company, the other places in town are way to expensive, with a very limited selection. read more

Hands down the best place to get eye wear. They have a big variety of glasses for all women and men. For the longest time I was in the look out for a specific frame and I cannot believe I found it here. They also have good deals and i am sure you will find just what you been looking for, Stephanie did tell me that they always get new inventory and they always change so they don't always have the same inventory. I left so happy and satisfied because customer service was excellent and Stephanie made it 10x better, she was so helpful and so I decided to return for another 2 pair of glasses but this time I got sunglasses since I've been wanting sunglasses for the longest time and Stephanie also helped me out by giving me advice and honest opinion on how the sunglasses looked on me. I happened to fell in love with my MK AND VERSACE and yes yes ladies and gentlemen they have branded glasses and sunglasses as well. Thank you Stephanie for the help.... read more

Yesterday my daughter decide, it was time for a new pair of glasses. Teenagers. We needed our eye exam also. We choose to stop here at eyeglass world. They got us in to see the dr. pretty quickly within 20 mins. Thanks Brandon. But I think the real star was Gina! She took great care of us after the exam trying to get our insurance in the computer. Was extremely patient with my daughter. Who had to try on over 50+pairs to come back to one of the first she tried on. Then for us to leave without putting in an order for glasses. She was kind, helpful and not pushy. Really makes me want to go back and order the glasses. It all up to my daughter who would being wearing them. read more

I went in and got the eye exam, and selected my glasses. I was told they'd call me in 2 weeks when they were in, 2 weeks later no call, nothing. I had to call them only to find out they were in, i go in today and am told my sunglasses aren't tinted correctly and it'd take 30mins, so I get my glasses, and leave to wait 30mins. I never received a call. Staff seemed very nice, someone just needs to actually contact the customer when their item is in, instead of pushing phone calls to get clients in for appointments. Eye exam isn't free (Dr. was looking at the wrong persons information when making comments to me, and the receptionist.) Lenses that go into the frames aren't free they push a warranty for the glasses. read more

The staff at Eyeglass World in Modesto on Plaza Park Way are wonderful, especially Karen! Karen went above and beyond to help us find just the right frames and lenses. The turn around time was 2 working days. I have been telling all of our friends about our experience here, I cannot recommend this business enough. I have worn glasses for 50 plus years and this was my best experience! read more

My experience was trouble , my daughter received glasses ,the 2 for 78.00 didn't apply because of my insurance, they charge me for different prices for contacts, fitting, copay was 60.00 to many prices, so I return the contacts. read more

My husband and I went here two weeks ago to get glasses initially the service was great until we had to pick up our glasses! We went in today and the girl who assisted us did not see if our glasses fit appropriately to our face and gave us our glasses with finger prints all over them and the case for mine was scratched up and on the inside had areas that appeared to have sticker markings. My husband purchased Oakley's and I purchased Versace frames so for our $800.00 plus dollars we walked away with dirty frames and what appears to be used cases. Very disappointed! read more

Wasn't impressed with the eye Dr. that works there. She was nice enough but didn't really listen or help with the issues I was having. Just felt like she was going through the motions and didn't really care much about her patients. The store part where u get the glasses and contacts was more helpful than the Dr. Overall it was an ok experience... read more

Esmeralda is the best! But really most of the people I contacted during my visit were above average in cheerfulness, helpfulness, and getting their jobs done well. My doctor at home couldn't fit me in for a month and I was desperate for a new but temporary pair. Since I'll be having cataract surgery soon, I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on glasses that I would only use for a few months. But I was in a bind because the only pair I had to wear were the wrong prescription and also repaired in a very visibly horrible way. Esmeralda suggested that I could have a loaner pair, for free, while I wait for my (progressive) lenses to come in. When another employee was going to charge me too much, she very proactively and diplomatically stepped in and made sure the right thing happened. At least part of this process she was off the clock, too, but was so concerned that everything go well for everyone present she was finding it hard to leave. I also appreciate the way they operate concerning pandemic protocols, very thorough and on top of it but welcoming too. Assuming my glasses come in correctly, which I bet they will, I just might switch from my busy doctor to going to Eyeglass World instead. read more

Great deals but had horrible customer service. The lady at the front desk was rude once we walked in and abruptly cut us off when showing our insurance. Also treated coworkers fairly rude with a lot of disrespect. To be more specific it was the lady at the front desk not wearing a white jacket. The one with a hairstyle similar to a beehive. read more

Unbelievable how great this place is. The people are wonderful and I was able to make an appointment, have an exam, AND get my glasses all in the same day. Could not be happier. read more

I hadn't had an eye exam I'm about three years and I had heard good things about this place so I stopped by. I was instantly greeted by Stephanie. She asked me what kind of frames I was in the market for and asked if I wanted a specific color then she set aside all my favorites in a tray. She then led me to have my eye exam and was ready for me as soon as I was done! She has extremely good customer service and would recommend for everyone to come in and ask for HER. She made sure I got a good deal and left with exactly what I wanted. Such a great experience! Would recommend to everyone!!! read more

These folks just opened and I'm SO glad they did! I purchased a pair of Oakley glasses at Lens Crafters a couple years ago and paid over $800 for them...the anti-glare coating started coming off and I took them back in and they told me all they could do is sell me another pair of glasses...these were so bad I couldn't see out of them and they refused to do anything. Enter eyeglass world...I got an amazing price of $300.00 for TWO (2) pairs of Oakleys, an indoor and a pair of sunglasses...that was OUT THE DOOR! The staff was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and truly wanted to give me exactly what I wanted at an AMAZING price! Thanks Eyeglass World...there's a new sheriff in town...Watch out Lens Crafters...I'll never do business with you again!!!!! read more

I went in today to check out prices and this place is wonderful. I was greeted and helped by the Manager Brian, his customer service is by far the best I've seen at an Optical in years and I've had glasses since the age of 5. He helped me find frames that perfectly fit my face, in my budget and got me the best deal on Contacts and Frames I've ever had. The place was busy being a Saturday so he did have to stop to attend to other customers/employees but he always came back to check on me to make sure I wasn't left too long My prescription lenses alone usually costs anywhere from $300-500 depending on where I go to get my glasses. Brian was able to get me the best discount with my Eye Med Insurance I received a years worth of contacts plus glasses and frames for $210 and they were Designer Chanel! Thanks so much Brian I appreciate the wonderful customer service and extra discounts, I will definitely be back. read more

The staff at Eyeglass World honestly does not even deserve a star. The employees here have horrible customer service skills. They all look mad. I initially came here because they had a promotion of buy a pair get second for free back in December of 2018. Long story short the manager Brandon told me if I referred family and friends, I would receive a gift card per person. With that said I knew a couple of friends from work who needed new prescriptions. I referred them over since December of 2018, fast forward to end of April I barely received my first gift card ( 4 months later) but have not received my second. During the process of dealing with them, they weren't helpful, not friendly, and were short on phone call. I really regret giving them my business and referring friends. My friends who I referred have also told me they weren't friendly. I will never go back, I suggest everyone to avoid this place at all cost. read more

Last year I came to Eyeglass world and was given exceptional service. However, this year I went in for my prescription the optometrist was completely rude and unprofessional. After when I came home I noticed they did not include the PD. So, I called and the lady told a series of lies , raised her voice at me and hung up. A few days later I noticed on my prescription my one of my right eye numbers wasn't even filled. When I called the same lady first lied and said she didn't have my prescription then told me I had to come in. Last year, I ask for my prescription and they sent it online. This time the lady refused to give it to me , ignored my request , and kept telling me that I have to come in for my prescription. I am a busy college study and do not have time for this nonsense. When I finally told her I am just going to go to another person She responded blatantly " ok..bye." I will never go to any eyeglass world while I live on this Earth and every single person I meet I will convince not to set foot in one of these horrendous places. read more
