I came here based on yelp reviews but they were very misleading. I had to call multiple times because the person I spoke to, David the manager, guaranteed me shipping dates but when I never received any contacts and called back, David notified me that he never shipped them. And this happened TWICE for the same order. The one star review isn't only because of how unorganized this place is but also because David was very unapologetic and made it seem like it was my own fault that the contacts were never shipped. His tone of voice especially wasn't helping either. I ended up just asking for a refund. I read the other reviews and it's disappointing that other have had similar issues as me. Will update whether I receive that refund or have to call back again. read more

Customer service is awesome. Really clean and friendly atmosphere as well. I get my contact lenses here and they're usually always on top of things! Highly recommended! read more

My boyfriend went here for regular eyeglasses and prescripted ones for work. First they messed up on the balance, he paid and when he picked them up they said he owed a different balance. Secondly, they took about a month for his safety glasses when they had promised two weeks and on top of that they ordered the wrong ones, clears instead of tinted. Never going back read more

They are very rude and unfriendly. Also, they write you a price on email and when you go there they ask for 60% more. They are not recomanded read more

I always have a great experience here from beginning to end. Eye exam is fast and the location is clean. The staff and optometrist is friendly and even will tell you about deals, promotions and rebates when I ordered contacts. They are a 10/10 in all aspects read more

I called to make a visit to Eye Tech, due to failing the vision test at DMV. I called and gave the employee my insurance, since I had prescription allowance. She verified everything and told me to come on Monday to analyze and order prescribed frames. I made the appointment for Monday 10:30am, and got there little early. they open at 10am, and i came around that time. the female employee greeted and she was friendly over all. i filled out and and everything was pretty smooth and simple. The Doc was a young Asian Doc, but he was pretty cool and straightforward. He was polite and asked about my background and made thorough tests to analyze what I needed. I spent maybe good 30minutes and picked nice Rayban frames , with grey shades. It was for $200 but with my insurance , I paid total $140. for all that tests and consultation and nice Rayban glasses for next week to be picked up, I couldn't be happier. I will always comeback for future purchases for my self and recommend them for other families. read more

If you're looking for genuine service with a vast selection of frames, then Eye Tech is the the place for you. Ever since my experience with them, I recommend all my friends to this location for all their exams and glasses/sunglasses needs. When I came in for my appointment, I knew this place stood out with how open and clean everything looked, they probably wipe down the entire store every day. I was warmly greeted by the righteous guy in front, Peter, who helped check me in. The manager, David, was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining to me how my insurance worked since I know it can be confusing whenever I try and use it. He helped recommend frames that were trendy and fit my egg head shape. I really appreciated how David was also able to explain the different options I had in terms of lenses and coating I could put on my glasses that I never had considered. When it came to the eye exam, Dr. Choi was very thorough compared to other places I've visited. I appreciated that he explained to me how astigmatism affected my vision and advised me how I could treat my dry eyes. Thanks Dr. Choi! I also want to give a shout out to the friendly, older gentleman working in back. If you end up purchasing glasses from here, make sure you get them adjusted to your face before you leave. His hands are literally magic the way the frames feel on your face after he's graced them with his touch. Just a small tip, I would recommend calling in ahead of time to schedule an appointment since they can get pretty busy, especially since they're one of the few optometrist offices open later. read more

I went here to get my contacts. I didn't know where else to go. Since I moved around so much, from city to city. I was looking for a place that was affordable but with excellent attention and care. I got them both here! Dr. Yoo was VERY perisonalble and attentive to you. She would try to get you know you as a patient. I had a very nice little chat about what I do and why I selected to come here. Other places I tried, didn't really care so much. They get your perception, take your money and sent you on your way... Here they check up on how your contacts fit and work for your eyes, after they give you a trial pair, at no cost! I feel that they go the extra mile to give you the very best service! OH! and that 10% off eye exam didn't hurt either ; ) read more

This is a Korean optometric center that I really like in Orange County. I've been ordering contacts from them for 2 years and never had issues with the lenses. The doctor is nice and professional the staff are helpful. read more

We love Eye Tech! We've been coming here for the last 5 years and have always received amazing service. I love that they have high quality breads, I just wish they had a better selection. The last two times I was there with my husband, it seemed there weren't many new styles. Although, they did say they would be able to order any style I found online. I highly recommend this place. They are quick, reliable, and extremely friendly and professional. read more

I had received my eye exam at another location but they did not have any frames I liked. I decided to find frames else where during my lunch break. I found Eye Tech on Yelp and decided to go there to see what type of selection they had. When I first walked in, I was a little intimidated with how nice the store was. All of the frames were in cases so I thought that it was not going to be easy to look at the glasses on my own. I was greeted by Leslie and asked if I needed help. I told her that I was looking for some frames and that I was really picky on what I wanted. So she was kind enough to spend some time with me on finding a pair I liked. She was very informative during the whole process. Unfortunately, I did not purchase the frames at the location. However, Leslie was nice enough to provide the frame information to me so that I can have it for my records. She provided great service and I highly recommend Eye Tech! read more

I love this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Choi explains everything in detail and is very thorough.

Modern looking store, nice people. The service is great. I chose it because it is close to my house and has great yelp reviews. I was a little apprehensive my first visit because this business is in a shopping strip among Korean-owned businesses and it can be very hard to understand someone who speaks in broken English. The Optometrists and person at the counter speak fluent English, yay!. The doctor that checked my eyes was young and hip and took the time to explain my options and answer my questions. They have a good selection of the higher end designer frames. I was able to get a lower cost frame more within my budget; would like to have seen more options in that price range, but then I was looking for a particular style. I have brought my glasses and glasses I did not buy there in for adjustment and they've done it without charge every time. I highly recommend Eye Tech! To answer Allen's question, I saw the store 1st because I drive by it all of the time. However I researched a number of optometrists in the area including yelp reviews before deciding to try Eye Tech. read more

Great, great service here. The eye doctor is fast and precise, I like that he gets you in and out and doesn't try to suggest all kinds of crazy things for your issues. I had an eye infection and he was awesome enough to give me a sample of some meds instead of having me go spend $50 for a half ounce bottle of drops. My husband got his glasses here, the staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable. And they're all so patient with you while you're trying to decide what frame you're going to commit to for a few years. They have a wide selection of styles from upscale to hip to practical. Not to mention the store is pristine, it's clean and sharp and really sets a good impression when you walk in. But don't let the place fool you, they competitively price their appointments and lenses, and accept various insurances. I will always trust my eyes with them! read more

Excellent service and selection of frames, especially for Asian faces! My favorite part is when my glasses are heated and custom fit to my face. So happy I don't have to go to Koreatown to get this kind of optometry experience. read more

Love coming here. They carry lots of different brands, are always helpful and provide the best service. Very quick and reliable. Broke my glasses in the morning and i needed a replacement NOW. Went in, picked out my frame, and since i had my prescription my new glasses were ready in about 4 hours. i was promised the earliest would be the next day, but they got it done in a few hours. very professional, knowledge about the eye was clearly recognizable. Next time i need something for my eyes im definitely coming back here! *they also gave me a free sample of contact lenses just in case i needed them while my glasses were getting prepared! read more

What a gem! I don't have vision insurance so I'm always skeptical about optometry places because the cost for an exam can run high. BUT, This place is very cost friendly ($100 for my eye exam as I have an astigmatism) clean, really nice and the staff are really nice as well. The optometrist was very friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed and he was very honest about my vision (which I found out isn't as bad as I thought!) The wait time wasn't long at all (I did have an appt). I will definitely be going back and have already recommended to friends! read more

I love this place. It's so clean and organized. I can't imagine going to a 2nd tier store anymore. I bought several sunglasses and glasses here and the best thing I like is their service. They're always courteous and professional. Definitely recommending them. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday. They were close to my house and a part of my vision insurance. They did an excellent job! The doctor I saw was very thorough, he did more tests regarding my dry eye than any other Doctor ever has. I was very impressed! He was very knowledgable and explained everything to me. Their pricing for the exams weren't too bad either (62$) but that was with my insurance. I don't know about their frame pricing since I wear contacts. Everyone was very kind and quick! I definitely recommend them. :) read more

Found this gem of a place through a friend! I went here on a weekend to order some glasses and contacts through my health insurance. The sales team was extremely friendly and made some great recommendations that suited our face shape. Optometrist was really knowledgeable and kind. He answered all my questions patiently. My prescription was a bit outdated, but after this visit, I can see everything crystal clear. I'll be back you guys! read more

Eye Tech Optometric Center - Optometrists Near Me - Fullerton, California

Bit overdue review but I'm going to echo the sentiments of Judy below since it happened to me. I was a customer here and had purchased a package of contacts and that includes getting my eye exam here as well. My fiance ordered me a pair of extra glasses as I have a tendency to misplace my glasses. I got a call from them to pick up my contacts and I inquired at that time if they would be willing to adjust the pair of glasses for me. Guy on phone says he will talk to manager and he comes back saying ok. Go to pickup my contacts and when I pull out glasses the guy goes back to ask again despite having done so before. Out comes older man who I assume is owner. He makes disparaging comments about how I don't think it's rude to order a pair of glasses elsewhere and have them adjust. I politely say I ordered and purchased contacts with them and these were ordered by my fiance on my behalf. He does a crummy job and returns it... I don't bother asking him to do a better job since he clearly doesn't want to. I've had glasses adjusted elsewhere that I didn't purchase from and never got hard time. I got harrassed by owner of this place despite ordering contacts and doing exams multiple times. Never coming here again and recommend everyone else steer clear unless you like doing business with nasty people. read more

I've been coming here for the past 2 years and have always been impressed with the service and professionalism provided by the staff and Dr. Choi. Dr. Choi seems to be very knowledgeable and takes time to give you a thorough examination. Because of this I decided to bring my antsy 4 year old daughter for a check up and both the staff and Dr.Choi were very accommodating. The female staff was really wonderful and patient. Dr. Choi did a great job of making my daughter comfortable so that he can perform a complete examination. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now, one of the nicer optometry offices I've been to. The eye doctor is on the younger side if you care about that sort of thing. It is a predominant Asian office, and I don't say this because of the staff but because of the clientele they serve. I personally don't care since the staff is fluent in English and do a good job with my needs. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful. I went in yesterday without an appointment. I actually found this place through yelp because I was in need of an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I went late in the afternoon so I wasn't sure they'd be able to squeeze me in since most other optometrists I've been to require you to have an appointment. As soon as I walked in i was greeted by a very friendly employee (I don't think I ever got her name, but she appeared to be the only female working there.. SUPER helpful and knows what she's talking about). When I finished explaining to her what I needed, she immediately went to check if the doctor could give me an exam. Which he could, which was awesome - I was really hoping I wouldn't have to come back another day. The doctor was really nice, and he was very quick and efficient with the eye exam. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had at an optometrist office. I ended up getting my eye exam and a new pair of glasses :) The selection was quite extensive. The frames aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they are all very high quality. So you get what you pay for. The employee that greeted me in the beginning also walked me around the store to help me choose my frames. She wasn't pushy at all, and gave her honest opinion. I really appreciated that because most people I've encountered try to sell me the most expensive frames that look ridiculous on my face. The staff was even nice enough to fix my fiance's broken sunglasses. They replaced the nose padding plus put back in his sunglass lense for free! I highly recommend this place if you are on the market for a new optometrist. You will be very happy with the change! read more

My new optometrist. I had to get a new prescription because I guess its a law now. Anyways, they hooked me up with a pair of contacts right away and ordered me a box. Plus they gave me an extra week. The people working here are amazing. They helped me, my daughter, and my brother. They are super helpful, provide excellent service, and keep everything extremely clean. Literally the BEST optometric center in all of Orange County. I was raised in OC but now reside in LA yet I STILL will drive out of my way to come to Eye Tech for all of my optical needs. They have the finest, most fashionable selection of glasses and sunglasses that I've ever seen. It has a boutique feel and the most impressive customer service. Everyone that works there is incredibly knowledgeable and they all have the most delightful attitudes. The doctors are highly trained and you can feel confident about the caliber of care you're receiving. I can't recommend Eye Tech highly enough for all of your optometric needs; they're world class read more

If you're looking for a quality, friendly and knowledgeable place to get vision services, this is the place to go! I went in for a contact lens exam and contacts, and it was pretty quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and I love how clean everything always looks. They told me about a nice rebate going on and I got an amazing deal! Definitely the only spot I'll be coming for vision services. Thanks! read more

I still like this shop but the owner, Peter, has somehow managed to offend some of my referrals. They say he is only interested in helping affluent Asian women who don't care what they pay. On my last visit, I looked at frames that were quite expensive. For those of you who don't know, the mark up on lower price frames is higher than high price frames. Mark ups average 60% according to Niel Gailmard, DO, MBA FAAO. That is about 2.6 times the cost of the frame. When I asked for a 20% discount, they said no. So, the frames were purchased elsewhere at a 33% discount. I'd prefer to spend my money locally, but hey, money is money. Peter's son, Allen, and the other staff members are terrific. Their optometrist is excellent. Just don't expect any bargains or deals. For those, try the Internet! read more

Yesterday I visited this eye glass center. It was actually my second time as the first time I asked information. True to their word, I waited while they repair my favorite eye glasses. I am so happy I researched and now have found a business I will recommend to anyone I know. Thanks for the quality services provided! read more

These people hooked me right up with a pair of custom tinted glasses that made me look beyond cool with great functionality. I have dealt with several people in the past but David is the person that handled my case this time, l don't speak Korean but through a little interpretation david told the older gentleman what I wanted. They went back and forth for a few minutes because I needed prescription sun glasses that had to be as tinted as possible because I work outside in the sun all day. Once david told the older gentleman what I was after he replyed in (Korean) not only can we get the lenses dark tinted but we'll put a mirror coat on the outside for a further sun barrier! All I have to say is WOW! I'm so very pleased with the end result that I highly recommend this shop to all! Just know what you want so they can present you with possibilities, and best of all is that they take VSP insurance. Thanks guys! read more

This place is AMAZING! My husband doesn't have eye insurance, everywhere else we called was not very economical, this place charged $45 for an exam without insurance! Unheard of! The employees seem to be nice and helpful, but not sure about the older gentlemen who seems to be the owner, i have had a funny event here today. I always come here for my contact lenses and prescription lenses for my glasses and eye exam. Today, i went there to adjust my glasses, he was adjusting my glasses, all of a sudden, the owner asked me, "Where did you buy these glasses?" I said, "I bought from Amazon", then he said, "If you bought these glasses from Amazon, you should've gone to the Amazon Eye doctor for the adjustment" Well....... WTF? I purchase everything there except the glasses because i couldn't find my favorite style of glasses there. Is this an appropriate way to treat the customer? I was trying to be nice but expecting to get his apology, well it didn't happen. The employee next to him seemed embarrassing, i felt a little bit upset. I didn't want to make trouble because the employees are nice. I have been their customer for years as well as my family members and my friends. I referred them to go here in the past. I didn't buy glasses there because they didn't have my favorite style, but recently i purchase contact lenses and prescription lenses for my 2 glasses. Cost me nearly $640, and this is what i get from the owner? And my father spent around $800 included glasses and the lenses here. Well, i have no intention to visit any places where they have no appreciation to their customers. the employees who work there and witness this event today would know what i am talking about. read more
