My wife took them in and we were charged another $42 to replace them...AGAIN. I called the office trying to explain that they were faulty when we received them. I was put on hold, I could tell whoever I was talking to was trying to be patient, but she came off unconcerned and rude. She was also non-responsive while I was presenting my frustration that they were faulty. I was put on hold for a while and then she explained that we were charged to replace the glasses. She never addressed the root issue of them being faulty when received. I will look elsewhere moving forward for eye care.

From day one, the service was great and still is. Dr Cline now works part time, but it is business as usual as service is still incredibly good. From 2008 until now, I have stayed with this office since then. A testament to how well they handle their business.

So I wait. They were ordering frames so my son can try them on for his prescription sunglasses, we were told this would take three or four business days and it's been three weeks. No callback. No update. And still no regular everyday glasses for either of us! Since this ownership changed the service sucks. For the high cost of their optical options, I expect high end service. Our next time will not be with this optical group. For goodness sake - call with an update if you're behind!

You will wait for your products. It is a small office, but the QUALITY outweighs these fly-by-night places who might not get it right "in an hour". I brought in my own Dior Frames. Even doing the math with 40% off lenses with complete pair... I came out ahead. Dior frames aren't cheap. 10/30 was almost $1k for contacts and 2 different Rx lenses. I brought in existing Dior Frames. Clerk said that they "did not pass quality inspection." This was after I called her, btw... Contacts were in and waiting. I think I will request my frames back, gather my Rx scripts and walk a block to LensCrafters. I NEED MY GLASSES FOR MY WORK. UPDATE: I kept my cool on the phone. Yesterday I got a text message that my glasses were in at least one pair for distance vision I was able to pick up along with my contacts and I understand that my close-up glasses will be in tomorrow. Goldman Sachs probably will have no issue cancelling the excessive cost of LENSES ffs. Hopefully by 12/3 I can just take the contacts that were $$$ and get a FedEx tracking number for my frames. Came in and verified insurance, had exam, and all of a sudden, as we're ready to leave, they asked for almost $400 more than what I was told on the phone as my co-pay PLUS an additional $45 for a "contact lense training" for a new wearer. Mind you, ALL of what they did, the exam, eyeglass script, and lense fitting (with new contact lenses wearer), would have been $120 each at Costco WITHOUT insurance. They literally LIED to me to guilt me to pay SOMETHING saying they could lose their license if I did not pay for service rendered or if they gave a discount. Not to mention, they were running late and the entire visit lasted longer than a typical Costco visit. What a waste of time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that I can take my vision benefits to Costco in order to get a contact lens fitting without having to pay twice. I visited, rcvd my eye exam, & ordered new glasses on April 23, 2025 The time it took to receive my new lenses was longer than any vision outfit I've ever dealt with...over two weeks, & I'm 75 yrs old! When they arrived my regular lense glasses were fine. My sunglasses were a disaster. A small sliver of the lens just above the bifocal was accurate. The entire top half of the lens was out of focus. The bifocal was so low I had to tilt my head back to even use them. That was two weeks ago. It is June 2, 2025 as of this writing. I called AECC this morning for the status of my reconfigured sunglasses. The CSR could not even tell me if or when they'd be shipped! This is by far the worst new glasses purchase I've ever had. Who knows when I'll have my new sunglasses...properly made? I really loved the staff & the opthalmologist. This review pains me.
