The exam and wait isn't that bad. Doctor is a funny guy. And those are the reasons why this get some stars on my review. When it come to making your glasses, I think I had the worst experience ever. The lenses isn't that cheap compare to Costco. Poly lenses + AR = 115$. The reason why I choose to make it here, because I though they might get my glasses done earlier than Costco. First, they asked me to wait for 2 days. Then it got delayed to a week. And after a week, when I called the store the next morning, the guys said can I hold a little bit so he can check if my glasses is done or not, then he'll call me back. I waited for like 30 minutes, and he didn't even call me back. Like for real, it might only take 2 minutes to check that. And I called back, guess what, my glasses got delayed until 3pm that day. They glasses That I thought should be done a day before; no 6 days before. Seriously, with the more expensive price that I paid, and the service that I got is so bad. I don't like why and how you guys get 5 stars rating. I guess sometime you can not trust the rating 100% read more

I love this place. I have shopped around Orange County to find a place that fits my taste and my requests and I have found it. The doctor was very professional so were his front office people. Wherever I go its really the service that gets me, if I feel mistreated or get tricked into buying something I don't need, I'll walk out and never come back (that happened to the old place I went to). This place gave me honest recommendations and explained everything to me in details. What's better? They closed at 6 and I walked in at 550 they still took me in and took the time with me as a new patient. Overall, this place deserved a 5-stars and I rarely left a review on yelp. Oh and by the way, if you want to get a nice glasses that satisfies you, please walk in, for its pretty difficult for them to give you a detailed quote. Bring your frames if you have them because Dr.Nguyen will have to look at your frames in order to recommend you which lens it should go with. read more

All their frames are very overpriced!!! They do carry Chanel but I'm not sure if they are the authorized dealer of Chanel or not since the price tags are double the price compare to other places! I walked in to put in lenses on my new frames. While waiting I asked the worker there if I can see some frames! He opened the lock and let me see couple frames but after literally couple of frames, he started giving me attitude and annoyed?! They charged me $80 for the new lenses, I was told that the lenses are poly with AR coating and $10 for a rush order since I wanna pick it up the same day. I picked up the glasses the same afternoon and noticed there is no coating on the lenses!!!! Brought it home and took the lenses out of the frames and I noticed it's just a CR 39!!!! Which is just freaking plastic!!! I don't know if it's the lab messed up the order or they just cheat and charge more for what they sell! Never again!! read more

Nice optometrist but the glasses are over priced. I found the pair I bought here were half the price in other places such as online or Optical Zone in the same complex. Unfortunately, I couldn't return. I know better for next year. So remember to search around before you commit to purchasing glasses at this place. read more

Never write a review on Yelp...Just won't come back...but this place is horrible services...So unprofessional...I bought contact lens for a year but I had a issue with those lens after a month...At first, they didn't exchange the others for me...Later, they give me the sample lens which are illegal for sale to replacing my Acuvue Oasys Lens...I ordered new lenses for my glasses and my sunglasses...almost $500....Waiting forever...no one called me...After 2 months...They called me to pick them up when I went in they didn't have the right lenses I ordered...The old lady asked me $25 for re-order lenses for my sunglasses even it wasn't my fault...After 2 weeks I still got the wrong lenses...Ok I'm fine:)...She said that I have to pay $35 if not I couldn't get my glasses...wtf...Still fine:)...asked her to give me back my original lenses...and she said they lost them...oh la la...new lenses but can't see clearly...oh la la... read more

I initially came there right before the year ended to spend my FSA money. I bought 2 pairs of sun glasses. no discount what so ever even though I bought 2 pairs. maybe they knew I wanted to use my FSA so they didn't budge. I'm not a bargainer either but I still expected some discount for buying multiple items. I myself don't wear sunglasses so I bought a pair for my brother which wasn't there. and we all know you can't just buy sunglasses for others. so I asked them if I could just pay for aNY pair to spend my Fsa then use the money as credit . they said yes. not a problem. and that they would even oay me back the cash difference if any. so I paid for a pair but didn't leave with anything. my brother comes in to use the credit. and now they want to charge %30 restocking fee for something I never left with. I didn't see the Dr so I am not rating them based on that service. and their initial sales service was great. but because of the service my brother got I am giving them a 1 star. I understand they're a business and they want to make money(extra money). but that's not how you keep customers. I was planning on going there for my eye exam and to buy seeing glasses but not anymore. read more

We are amazed by all the 5-stars rating, well, here is his first 1/2 star rating, for being his first victim . I had an eye exam done with dr Nguyen, he was friendly , yes,but he is not responsible for the glasses he sold. I had my progressive glasses done here and did not work. I came back 2nd time, he said the lab did a mistake. 3rd time, he changed a few details in the Rx and asked me to upgrade to better lenses, so I did and paid extra. But still did not work, the reading part is off, causing headaches and dizzines. Fourth time today, he said upgrade to another type of lenses and PAY extra again . Well, i disagree. i paid close to $400 dollars for a product that did not work, now he wants another $179 extra for a different type of lenses. I guessed he did not have enough experiences to recommend the right type of lenses in the first place, so that now he keeps asking for more money for upgrades. So people, watch out before you have your glasses made here. It's a brand new office, just a few months old, so they don't have enough experiences, and they are not responsible for their product, they don't care if Patient can use the glasses or not...Do it at your own risk ! I took my brother there. The doctor was very professional, attentive. I had some eye questions of my own and the doctor took the time to understand the problem. He gave me some advice without pushing me for an appointment. I think I spoke to Lena(?), she worked on the weekend. She was also very professional and certainly knew how to keep me from boredom while keeping another customer in check. Given the busy weekend, the staff, in general were very in check with the inflow of customers without rubbing them off like at some other shops where they feel you are wasting their time.
