Absolutely horrible. Delivered damaged frames. Refused to replace the frames. Did not honor supposed warranty. Avoid this store if possible.

Dr. Abby Henderson is our Doctor at Eyesite. 2 years ago we paid for all of our children to have a vision exam (we don't have vision insurance). Our middle child has a condition that doesn't allow her eyes to "work together" when coming in close to read, for example. Before this appointment, we had requested dyslexia texting through Katy ISD. Dr. Henderson suggested her testing to determine if it was an incoming our outgoing processing issue. In our case, it turned out to be incoming, muscle issues with our daughters eyes. We paid for weekly therapy for 8 months and now our child no longer hates school, reading, looking at numbers and all other things she was beginning to dislike. She has a prescription and glasses (which our child loves), and Amanda has helped fit her glasses in the on property shop. Since we don't have insurance, they always give us discounts, sometimes as much as 50%. It is still expensive, but being able to see for a lifetime is worth every penny. We love eyesite, specifically Dr. Henderson! read more

I've tried this location for 3 years. Recently, my son went in for contacts they left him in the exam room for an hour. They told my husband his prescription had changed significantly but yet he sees just fine, has no headaches, no nausea. They've yet to get my glasses or contacts right and I know I'm hard to fit. But I can't be the only person in my city with my prescription. It's one of two things my prescription is wrong or the lab didn't cut them right. They ordered the wrong set of contacts for me. I called to bring up my concerns to the doctor and "he won't see you just for a consult" O.o read more

This place is incredible! My experience with them from start to finish was flawless. Liz made me very comfortable when doing my eye tests, Dr. Win-Hall is knowledgeable, kind, and takes your time with you, and Marcy will take phenomenal care of you when picking out your glasses. They are thorough with their measurements and make sure you're happy every step of the way. Even when I picked up my new glasses, they had the prettiest presentation (see pic). I normally didn't care what optometrist I went to or where I bought my glasses. However, for the first time, I think they have a lifetime customer. read more

Will not be returning here. I went for an initial appointment since we moved back in February. It is now October and I had never received a follow up on my contacts or anything. I finally emailed the company (tried calling and they said they would call back, never received a call back) and the front office manager said the doctor will review my chart and see what happened. Flash forward to two weeks later and I still have yet to hear anything. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. read more

I have been going to this office for years and the front office staff used to be very professional. I guess the office manager left and now it's terrible. Last time I picked up my glasses after having the frames replaced and I couldn't see at all. I mentioned this to the technician and she said give them two weeks. I went home and tried to cope, and it was impossible. I went back to the office and suggested that the lenses were installed incorrectly. The same technician denied that that could happen, but I insisted. She took them to the back room and came back and said that yes, she had put the lenses in backward....how does someone do that? No apology. A similar thing happened to my husband. I love the doctors there but I don't trust any of the staff. read more

The doctor said you should get progressives. They are great and you will love them. I told him I've worn single vision for years and he said the progressives will correct near and far perfectly. I did as recommended and ordered them. The price with insurance was $500. They called to say they were in, I went to try them and told the girl that I can not see. The sides are completely fuzzy and the middle is the only place I have clear vision. She replied, "we ask you give it 2 weeks to get used to them" I left with them wore them. After 2 weeks went back and asked to make single vision lenses. They said ok. Went to pick up and asked how much refund difference was and was told no refund of difference. We just remake them. NEVER AGAIN SORRY. read more

I chose Eye Site in Katy because I cannot afford Berkeley now that I am retired. Over 300.00 just for lenses is another. I met Ms Liz and she was so helpful and personable. They have a good selection of frames. Not all are designer so there are more choices that won't break the bank. Luckily, I brought in a NEW pair that I had. So I purchased the lenses and paid under 300.00! I found a pair of sunglasses I am a little in love with and may go back to order those... anyway, try them out. I took my 8 year old son for his first pair of glasses and this was honestly the best experience for him! They were able to take a picture of his eye to avoid dilation and puffs of air in eye (scary)! He was fitted with an adorable pair of designer glasses and Delores was very patient and kind with him making his choice. The doctor was gentle and great with kids. I would highly recommend this place to anyone nervous or scared about going to eye doctor- this place is for you! Unfortunately, we're not coming back here either. It's unfortunate because Becca our optician was phenomenal. I previously scheduled my contact appointment on a Saturday no problem. I scheduled my Husband's contact appointment on a Saturday at 2:00 pm, not a time I requested its the time they suggested. When he arrives Dr. Nguyen tells him they don't do contact exams on Saturdays. Although the technicians were preparing him for a contact exam. Apparently she wanted her day to be over so she blatantly lied about their standard procedure. She goes on to say maybe she can convince one of the opticians to stay behind for his contact fitting but they don't have samples for astigmatism. If this is the case you should ask your patient, contact exam? and do you have an astigmatism? not waste their time with multiple visits. It would have taken 3 visits at minimum to get him sorted. When my Husband explained the inconvenience he was experiencing and will experience because they didn't inform him of their policy before he took a day off work to schedule Dr. Nguyen didn't apologize or show any understanding she just rudely said "bye". I had problems with them as well. I had to come back for new lenses because the one they provided I couldn't see out of. Their machine was broken so I had to wait to get the issue corrected. They were suppose to call me when the machine was fixed but I didn't find out until I called them. They came to the conclusion I needed my old prescription for my glasses. The new glasses have a zoomed out view as well but I don't wear glasses often and didn't feel like coming back so I kept them. The optician that help me get the replacement couldn't find me in the system, was confused about my old prescription, basically didn't know any of my information so I had to come back. When I called to make my Husbands appointment they changed their system and couldn't even find me. It's just a big mess over there. The only person I encountered that knew exactly what she was doing was Becca. She's the sole reason I wanted to stay loyal to them. Oh well we're finding a new office. read more

Definitely would not return. Went there about a year ago and got a prescription that was completely wrong. The doctor even switched my eyes on the prescription, which are different strengths, making the stronger eye the weaker and vice versa. Shouldn't a doctor realize something is wrong when one eye miraculously gets several points better in a year and the other gets several points worse? When I went back to get a second check a week later to show him my previous prescription from another doctor, there was no apology or admitting of a mistake. He gave me a new contacts prescription, but I didn't realize he never updated the glasses prescription, and I bought new glasses elsewhere with that prescription and am just now realizing it was from the bad prescription, so I have been wearing the wrong one for a year. Ugh! The front desk staff was not kind or helpful with insurance and tried to bill me for over what I was supposed to pay. That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, as that happens sometimes at these places, but I'd never received a wrong prescription before. read more

Always friendly, always professional, and will always go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of and happy. One of a dozen stories I have - my daughter was leaving for college, and we had a tight schedule. The staff was awesome at working with us to make sure we got her glasses before she left.
