This, is MY eyeglass place. Yeah, I wear glasses. What, you think I'm a nerd? Well, you might be right. This is the eyeglass place that was once in Winchester. Back then, it was called "Eye Look Optical". It was there for years. Paul Dimos was the original owner. He sold the business and left. Then, he came back. Then, he sold the Winchester location and set up shop here, in Lexington. He rocks. I don't like being served by anyone else other than him. He knows his stuff. Expensive! Very expensive! But awesome! This is how you get glasses here: His wife sits you down and tells you SHE will choose your new frames. Trust me - you need to trust her. She will bring out dozens of different styles and try them on your face. You don't get to look in a mirror. After several rounds, it comes down to 2 or 3 frames. NOW you get to look in the mirror. Choose one. Or all three if you're rich. Go back in any time to have your frames adjusted because your 4 year old nephew kicked you in the face. They also clean them for free and give you free little bottles of cleaner. Paul's wicked nice. Most people who have glasses are passionate about "their" glasses guy. Paul is mine and this is where you'll find him.

Lots of fashion choices for frames, but prices are $$$$. Service is generally good, but they have only been ok at adjusting frames.

Nora picked out glasses I would never have thought of wearing but they fit me so well, I get compliments every time.

I had previously just given up glasses because my last Rx gave me headaches (and my previous doc couldn't figure it out). Finally saw a new OD. Brought the Rx to Good Look on a whim. My doctor's first Rx was overkill. Second Rx wasn't overkill, but every glance to my periphery felt swervy and icky. I was about to throw in the towel, but Audrey basically sat with me to try and troubleshoot, taking the extra time that my OD couldn't. Between attempt #2 and attempt #3, Audrey took the initiative to reach out to my last doctor to get a full history of what I'd been wearing (and what really hadn't worked), hypothesized that while most people get used to the corrective lenses for astigmatism, my eyes just weren't having it. Audrey redid the lens again with less than a day's turnaround and comped half of round #2 and all of round #3. I am wearing those glasses right now to type this review up. These glasses are awesome. And Audrey is also unequivocally awesome. I will definitely be back when I need more glasses.

This review is so long overdue! I have been a patient of Dr. Shriber for at least 15 years. Most…read morerelationships don't even last that long, but the Doc and I have a good thing going, and I'm in it for the long haul. His office is very clean and has the latest diagnostic equipment. His secretary, Sasha, is super friendly, and Dr. Shriber is by far one of the kindest, most patient doctors you will ever meet. I'm not saying that I'm fussy, but when it comes to him asking me, "Which is better, 1 or 2? How about now, 1 or 2?". My response is always, "Can you do it again, Doc?" I don't know why. It's as if my eyes are always playing tricks on me. But his patience goes beyond the examinations. I swear it knows no bounds. I work on airplanes and once you hit 30,000 feet, these planes will suck all the moisture out of your body. And that extends to your eyes making your contact lenses uncomfortable to wear. Why not wear glasses then? I'm too vain. Anyway, there are contact lenses out there that advertise they are perfect for dry eyes. Over the years, I find them to be outright lies. So a couple of years ago, Dr. Shriber had me try a different pair every couple of weeks until I felt the contacts held enough moisture for my long haul flights. I remember saying to him, "Really? Aren't you going to get sick of seeing me?" No, he just wanted me to be happy with them. I went back 4 times before I finally placed my order. My last visit was a couple of weeks ago. 15 years later, I still LOVE going to this man. He is knowledgeable, generous, funny, and he also takes most insurance (if not all). Tons of street parking and a cheap public lot in the back ($ .50 an hour). If you need glasses, his office is connected to Gordon Optical which is run by his brother. So the next time you need an eye exam, look no further!! I give Dr. Yale Shriber a 10-Star review!

I believe we were approached by an associate maybe twenty minutes into our browsing, in which we had asked if a pair of glasses came in more sizes and the pair did not. The associate then disappeared & left us after this brief interaction and did not help us find other pairs. I mean, its fine sometimes I prefer shopping without being bothered by associates but customer service does seem to not be that great. Macy's LensCrafters at this mall has much better service, and that location has only one employee working lol. Location is clean and looked pretty new. Had a solid selection. They have a smart shopper mirror kiosk where you can find more glasses options and search through their inventory.

Normally that's alright, i enjoy shopping alone without being pushed or asked repeatedly anyways haha. The store is well lit, AC blasting and clean. They have a screen on the wall that you could browse inventory and check for color options on their website or store inventory. That was neat.
