I've been getting headaches from my contacts for years, and Dr. Deering seemed genuinely dedicated to fixing the problem. It has been almost 3 weeks since my LASIK procedure and I am in awe of my new eyes! I was very…read morenervous going into it, but looking back I had nothing to worry about! From the initial consultation, the staff were friendly, patient and understanding of my nerves. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Giles was great and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The procedure took less than 20 minutes and was painless. After the procedure I experienced very little discomfort and after a few days, any discomfort I did have completely went away. I experienced dry eyes for the first week, but since then that has also gone away. Being able to see is the greatest gift and I am beyond grateful to TLC for giving me the gift of eyesight. If you are nervous to get LASIK, know that I was too, but wish I hadn't been so nervous because in the end I had such a positive experience.

When we went back for a follow up yesterday, the charge was $225 which he was not in with the eye dr for more than 3 minutes. They asked him how he felt while using them and that was it. The follow up wasn't for anything except to try to get us to purchase the contact lenses from them. I was not told beforehand that the follow up was going to be almost 3 times what the initial visit was. We will never be back. If you do decide to go there you better ask the cost beforehand.
