I had bought a whole new set of wheels from these guys, the process was quick. However I'm not happy at all with the install. My rear end was making a big thump sound. Then from one second my wheel feel off while driving, Come to find out none of my wheels where tightened!! They where hand tightened. These guys are unprofessional. I could have gone into a huge accident. I will never recommend these guys to anybody. This shop reminds me of the llantera shops on broadway in Mesa. If you plan on buying from these guys think it twice! Just don't have these guys INSTALL anything. I understand stuff happens but their should be some type of procedure to insure safety!! This 1 star is earned not given. I took my Volvo in for a repair on a cracked rim. I decided to get two other rims repaired on the car that had some road rash. They said it would be ready in two days. Come a week later the car was ready. Went there, guy was absolutely clueless on what he was doing. Waited 45 minutes until they figured how to bill me. I should of just bought brand new rims than going to this terrible business. I don't give many 1 star reviews as I know they have livelihoods but this was warranted. read more

They shipped me the tires and won't return them so now I'm stuck with tires that won't even fit the wheels on my car. This company doesn't care if your wheels fit, they just want to make money. We ordered on Sunday morning at midnight. My husband had put in the notes to call and confirm with him to make sure we had the correct size. Other companies do this. We got the confirmation email, and then that morning we went to talk to a tire shop about getting them installed. My husband decided we needed a different wheel and immediately sent them an email and asked them to cancel the wheel because it wouldn't fit. We received an email the next morning at 1:42am saying they needed his Social Security number and DOB. This sounded sketchy but we needed them cancelled and the person emailing said we could do it if he had his ss#. We thought everything was cancelled and we were good to go. We received an email Tuesday saying they had shipped. I'm not sure what they did with my husbands information. So we called them immediately upon receiving the email. They said we could send them back at our expense. We still wanted the same brand just what would fit the truck we have. They still said we needed to pay to ship back. That's $200 + a restocking fee of 20%. We contacted the financing company and they agreed that was odd since they only need the last 4 digits to look up an order. Today the wheels arrived and I called. A sales guy answered and said I needed to reply to email. I told him the situation and he said he would get someone. I was on hold for several minutes so I called back asking for William Vaughn, the same sales guy said he wasn't in and I asked for an supervisor, he said he already told him I called. He was rude. It wouldn't have taken but a few seconds for him to take me off of hold and let me know his supervisor was helping a customer. I understand places are busy, but he was just going to leave me on hold. They were suppose to contact us yesterday and didn't so I doubt we get a call back and just have wheels in the garage that we can't use because instead of using our information to cancel they were doing other things with our private information. read more

This company is a total scam. They advertised and sold me tires that were no longer available. They never shipped the tires, since they are no longer available, but only refunded - after much debate - 79% of my purchase price. The tires are still be advertised on their site. It appears they have an empty warehouse, accept orders, and do only partial refunds. So one guy with a web site could scam 10 people daily and make over $1000 profit daily. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUD OF A "BUSINESS"!!! I ordered a set of wheels from them through financing with Acima, Extreme Wheels emails me very quickly to inform me they do not have 4 wheels in stock and that the wheel is discontinued. They proceed to show me other options of wheels which were completely different styles from what I was looking for. I told them I did not like any of the other options and I asked them to cancel my order. They said they would refund the order but they did not even cancel it. I called Acima to let them know the issue because I was not going to get stuck in a lease if I never actually bought or received anything. Extreme wheels had completely STOPPED replying to emails/calls and would not answer Acima's emails or calls. Extreme Wheels sent me the lug nuts and tried to use that as a way of saying I received their product. COMPLETE CRAP. (why would you send someone lug nuts if the wheels were discontinued?) I sent back the lug nuts as soon as I could through FedEx. This business is very unprofessional and are SCAMMERS. My guess is they scam the financing agency and they receive payment up front from creditors and leave the customer stuck paying for the product regardless if the product was sent out or not. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. They take your money and do not deliver the wheels or refund the Crediting agencies. Luckily Acima has been working thoroughly with me to get Extreme Wheels to cancel this order. I can believe how much money I saved on my new set of tires. I run 35's and I saved a ton of money on my tires. Their pricing is extremely good. The quality of their work is amazing as well. Fake scammers. Here's their gimmick; Put wheels on a website at a great price, hard to resist so I place an order. I then receive an email saying the ones I ordered are on back order and now considered a "special order". They offer via email to give me a different set of wheels at the same price, but then when I call I get told "that offer was a mistake". WTF? So I ask for a refund. I get told no refund because my wheels are now special order. I ask for an eta. There isn't one. I didn't order these special order, they were just on this website for sale. Get told, we'll never have to give you a refund since you paid with AFFIRM. Again WTF? They only let you speak to one person. No manager to request a refund. This is a scam site. Scumbags stealing from innocent people. I filed a claim with AFFIRM, not hopeful. I'm astonished that AFFIRM would allow a company to use them as a platform to steal from customers. Unfortunately I had a less than stellar experience today at Extreme Wheels in Gilbert. I called down there yesterday and spoke with Mike. I asked if they would be willing to flip a set of rear tires for me due to some camber wear. It was an expensive tire, and the other side of the tire still had a significant amount of tread left so I wanted to get the full life out of them. Mike said he could schedule me an appointment for the next day and they could take care of me. He specifically notated that I would need to bring $50 cash, I'm assuming this was a liability thing, which I respect, just seemed sorta odd. Today, I drove down and called ahead letting him know I'd be a few minutes later than my intended appointment time, he said no problem. When I arrived I parked out front where a majority of the employee vehicles seemed to be, and where a new customer would instinctively think to enter a business. I took my wheels out of my vehicle (I had brought them down separately in another car) and rolled them up to the front door. Before I could step inside there was Mike at the front desk yelling at me saying I can't bring tires into the showroom, and that I needed to bring them out to the back entrance. Okay, I get it, nice showroom, don't want tires inside, that makes sense. However, the way Mike handled the situation was not very welcoming. If I knew someone was going to be coming down in a few on the phone I'd courteously let them know hey, you can swing around back when you get here, but that didn't happen for me. Instead of offering to bring them around for me, he stood at the door, so I loaded my wheels back up and at this point I probably should have just left and gone elsewhere, but I had heard good things about Extreme, and I had a nice set of wheels that I didn't want to just leave with anybody. So I proceeded to drive around back and unloaded them again. Rolled them inside the shop and one of the techs began the process of dismounting and mounting. Mike chatted with a friend and I for a minute and invited us inside to wait. I let Mike know that I could drop them off and come back later but he insisted we stay as it wouldn't be long. We sat down inside and hung out for just over an hour. Yes, an hour. Not because my wheels took less than 15 minutes, but because Mike sat at the front desk and took phone call after phone call. I might mention that when you have customers a few feet away, it probably isn't best to argue with other clients over the phone, it seemed very unprofessional. When the tech walked back into the showroom to let Mike know the tires were finished, I thought we'd be on our way. Instead Mike continued to answer more phone calls, and create invoices for clients. After about an hour of waiting I finally got up and tried to hand him the cash he had asked for, and I let him know I would just need some change and I'd be on my way. He couldn't immediately find another associate to get me change so I told me it would be a few more minutes. So I sat back down and listened to Mike take another phone call. There were multiple other employees walking around go to and from an office. A walk-in customer showed up in the midst of all this and I figured this was it, Mike would put the phone down for a brief minute and get me on my way, but I was surprised to see him put the call on hold, welcome the walk in customer, and then proceed to go over powder coating options with him all while I hovered right next to them trying to drop the hint that I just needed my change and then I was on my way. When that didn't happen I finally interrupted his sales pitch and again asked for my change so I could get going, he acted surprised and went and grabbed the other associate he had been waiting for. I then grabbed my change, my wheels and left. A customer's time is valuable, and the way you multitask a business is also important. On Sep 17, 2022 I ordered 4 Studded tires and paid via PayPal... On Oct 4, 2022 I called Customer Service inquiring order status. I was advised that the studded tires I had paid for were unavailable and I was offered replacements. I advised the Customer Service agent that the substitute was fine as long as they were studded. I then sent an EMail confirming our conversation, ending with "Studded Please". I was advised that there may be an additional charge for studding and I agreed to the terms...... On Oct 6, 2022 FedEx showed up at my residence in Wyoming with 4 unstudded tires.... I refused delivery, I electronically signed the tablet and the driver left with them. I never touched the tires and they never left the truck.... I then called Customer Service and advised them of the refusal..... So, after many emails and phone calls, I was told that Extreme Wheels would consider possibly reimbursing me for just over half of the initial cost, and this for tires I NEVER RECEIVED !!! I was even told that they wouldn't accept tires because they had been mounted on wheels before being returned. I NEVER TOOK POSSESSION OF THE TIRES AND THEY WON'T REIMBURSE ME !!! BUYER BEWARE !!! They then sent me to a page of wheels they recommend after me telling them what I have. Almost a month later I got the wheels. Had the tires mounted and then the wheels wouldn't fit. I do not recommend this business.The salesman will deceive you. He pretends to want to care but ultimately he just wants to make the sale. He didn't really give me a choice of rims, he just recommended 1 style. Then he didn't explain the rates or let me review the contract. He digitally signed it while I was waiting for him to send it to me. When I received it it was already signed. I let that slide which I shouldn't have. Then I get the rims and tires, pay for them to be installed and they don't even fit properly. I contacted Stan, my sales rep and informed him of the problem and that I didn't feel safe driving the vehicle like that. He suggested sending me more spacers but would not tell me when they would arrive due to me needing to meet a deadline. I will contact the finance company when they reopen on Monday.
