I just had the opportunity to utilize this facility. My first interaction was with Ms. Kim. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. She made the contract and check-in procedure easy. She also made sure that I knew how to secure my units with the locks to keep my items safe. When I returned the next day I also ha a good encounter with Stephanie. They are a great team. I think that I made the correct choice about where to house my belongings! I am new to the facility but they have definitely started out on the right foot. The only thing that could improve is it could be easier to reach someone by phone. The automated system makes you jump through too many hoops and can be challenging to navigate especially the general extra spade number. read more

Although this is a nice facility, they will consistently raise the price on you every few months. The recent price increase by 20% on our small 5x5 unit to $100 has forced us to vacant completely. Not happy with the constant price increases. Good bye! read more

I've dealt with many storage places due to my business. Initial contact over the phone was stellar service. They were very informative and knowledgeable of units available. Once I arrived to location, I was greeted at entry with a great smile and hello. You don't get that very often! They showed me where unit was located and multiple elevators as well as bathrooms. I originally chose Extra Space Storage in timonium because it's close to home. I continue to use their services because their customer service is remarkable. The young lady is very friendly and she is always willing to take extra steps to make sure I get exactly what I need. If I were to move from the area, it would be worth the drive. Done with this company. Don't waste your time and money here. You rent from them for years, mice get into your stuff, they keeo raising the rent while the service goes downhill, and then they lie about you, saying they asked you to vacate, when they tried to rent you units with mouse stuff and water leaks in them, so you rented a unit for a week for a week FOR NOTHING, charging you for that, then stooped communicating witn you. The emails from my unit in Silver Spring say to come back any time. How unprofessional can you get? Throw your long-term customers under the bus. GREAT BUSINESS MODEL!
