Having Ace Self Storage as an option has helped us tremendously. We recently needed a temporary additional space after a water leak situation. The staff member who took care of us getting signed up for a new unit did a great job of explaining options and giving us the tour. Even though we know the property, the new space was in a different building and he took us there personally. They offer a move-in discount, which is makes for a fair value. Our goal is to reduce the need for extra storage entirely, but this may not happen while I'm still working full time.

I had belongings in this storage for approximately 6 months - an inside ground level unit. When we…read moremoved out through april/may we noticed there was mold on several of our boxes and belongings. I called the office and they said there is nothing they could do. They said it appeared there was Efflorescence occurring in the unit. (This happens when groundwater seeps through porous concrete and evaporates, leaving behind salts. This evaporation spikes the humidity in your unit, creating the perfect damp, stagnant conditions for mold to feed on your belongings.) I asked if they could reimburse anything off my last months rent because I moved out early. They would not. And they do not insure their units so I can't make a claim. Leaving this review because they need to be honest with their tenants. Had we known about the issue we would have stored our belongings accordingly and off the floors so they didnt get ruined!
