When I arrived Joe C was waiting in the office with a smile. He welcomed me and helped me get checked into my unit. We walked through my individual needs and he catered my experience accordingly. People leave trash around the facility and there is no one around at night to monitor the activities. When I have a problem, no one is around to assist. The movers were late after the owner specifically asked if I wanted them to come earlier than the time I originally gave, which I thought would have been perfect. Clearly not! I asked what methods of payment were accepted and was told cash, check or card. We were ready to pay with a card thinking in this day of technology, surely there would be a way to complete this transaction electronically. I was wrong. We had to go and get cash. And the icing on the cake was that my furniture was damaged due to the movers not wrapping the furniture properly from beginning to end. I was ensured that the movers would have the plastic and other tools to protect my furniture during this move. I am extremely unhappy with my experience and very disappointed. I will never ever use Burden movers or recommend them to anyone. The whole purpose of hiring movers is to make sure that your belongings are moved without the hassle of finding people to move your items. That was a complete waste.

This is the worst storage company in the world. They charge whatever they like. This is the first…read moretime I have seen fees like this. They quoted me a price on Thursday, and in less than 72 hours they added another $100.00 to the quote. I asked them to explain the increase and I was told that they have other things to do, so pay it or leave. Extra space bought the storage facility that i have used for 8 years, called Iron Horse Storage. They told previous customers there would be no rate increase and we were good to go. In less than 90 days they doubled my rate. Like WTF! Extra Space will advertise a low rate to get you in the door and double it in 90 days without telling you. If you try to protest they will auction your storage real quick and if the bids are more than you owe, you have to pay what the bidders are willing to pay. DO NOT rent a unit from any extra space, I still have 3 more units with them. I HAVE TO GET OUT!!!! You and your belongings will get trapped and you are done for it.
