I would not go with them anymore at all. On top of the price hike, the floor I had my unit on smelled of dead mice or rats. It was that cheesy really bad smell that was in there for the 6 months I rented; it never went away. The opening times are inconvenient for someone who works all day. In short: look for a better and serious company; the only nice thing I can say is that the toilet was clean and that the guys working there were nice overall. ( I used the one at Alaskan Way in Seattle).

Icing on the cake! The building is old, the customers seem.. worn but who cares? They don't have theft issues and I only need it for a short time. This exceeded my low expectations in every single way. If I ever have storage needs in this area again, I will CERTAINLY come here again. Thank you to the front desk guy for making me laugh. They will jack your rates up way higher than the rates they have listed online. I am not talking about the introductory discount for the first few months but the regular rates listed. My rate went from $120 to over $200...but the online rate is still just $130. They will claim its market rates but a quick look at all the facilities nearby show they are all around the $130 range. They also are telling us we can't use disk locks or padlocks and are only allowed to use the far less secure cylinder locks.

I have been using Mini Max Storage for several years. My bank records show clearly that payments have been made on time 100% of the time. I have talked with the on-site manager who only suggests the problem is with my bank. When I asked for the phone number of the business owner, he responded "I'm not going to give you that." Out of frustration, I'm moving my storage to another facility. Moths got into some rugs and hangings stored there, and I had to throw them away. A trunk with clothing in it, as well as boxes of books and papers were very musty smelling, the items in the trunk so bad they too had to be thrown out. All this for a small (5x5) unit which started out a few years ago at $108 a month but had been $259/mo. for quite a while by the time I vacated it. Glad to be out of there!
