On the day of our move, the crew arrived clearly high, reeking of weed-- and the smell lingered the entire day. They moved painfully slow; what should have been a 4-hour job turned into 7. They even disappeared for an hour between leaving our old home and arriving at the new one. When they finally showed up, the smell was overwhelming. They left dirty handprints all over our walls, broke several items without saying a word, and showed zero professionalism. When I contacted the company to file a complaint, the general manager was rude, dismissive, argumentative and unprofessional. He accused me of "trying to squeeze him for money" -- even though I only mentioned reimbursement for the broken item. He spoke to me condescendingly and wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. If I were the owner, I'd be embarrassed to have someone like that representing my business. The manager offered a $150 refund (out of a nearly $1,800 bill), claiming it was "out of the kindness of his heart." When the paperwork arrived, it was for less than what he promised. I called to correct it and never heard back. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. Save yourself the stress and choose a reputable moving company.

SHE NEVER LEFT DURING COVID or ANY PANDEMIC - INSTEAD SHE RISKED IT ALL AND worked as an essential worker throughout THE ENTIRELY OF EVERY pandemic. She's a master team player. Sick or not, she's always there - and if she's not the site will be shutdown. She manages over 1000+ units - the building is huge as it's three parts. Not only has she managed to maintain the grounds , the facility ect... alone. She has also set very high standards for her facility as it's beautiful , clean , and all good vibes. As for customer service- TOP NOTCH 10 Stars if possible. She'll most definitely leave you with a huge smile on your face. She is an ABSOLUTE assist to your company. The point of this review is VALUE your customer feedback, so as a Fortune 500 company.... I personally would recognize her for being such a hard worker, team player and better yet the ONLY steady face I have seen with this company.     I had a really frustrating experience with Public Storage in Melville, despite initially having a…read moregreat impression. I visited the facility in person and thought it was clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I was looking for in a 10x10 climate-controlled unit. I was ready to move forward. Before booking, I called customer service on April 5 to confirm whether I could reserve a unit in advance for a May 13 move-in date. The representative told me to go ahead and make a reservation online using any start date, then call back and they would adjust it to May 13. I followed those instructions and paid the $30 admin fee (which, notably, could only be paid by linking a bank account--not a credit card). When I called back, a different representative told me that what I had been told was incorrect and that they could not change the start date. We asked to speak to a manager, who said they would process a refund. However, I never received anything in writing confirming the refund, and the money was never returned. Since the payment wasn't made by credit card, I also had no way to dispute the charge. This lack of consistency, accountability, and follow-through completely changed my experience. What started as a positive impression ended with me losing money and deciding to go with a different storage company. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing before paying anything, especially since their customer service representatives seem to give conflicting information.
