He's the founder and owner and is there day and day out always making sure customers have a great experience. He really is one of the nicest business owners I've ever met. His team there is always equally fabulous and it's clear he's fostered a great work environment. It's even better now; there's an additional building, truck rental, and many upgraded features that will make renting even easier this time around. We recently had to find a storage unit to store our belongings for a month between moves. Freeport storage was exactly what we were hoping to find. From my first phone call, to me and my husband running in like bats out of hell trying to fill a storage unit with items from our 10x15 box truck 40 minutes before they closed.. the employees here were kind, patient, and extremely helpful. I purchased a large table and chairs set but knew that I would need to rent a truck in order to pick it up and bring to my house. I called Home Depot and they said truck rentals were on a first come, first serve basis and that on a Sunday it would be difficult to get one. I called Freeport Storage and spoke with Brenda. She was very helpful on the phone and provided all the information. The next day I went in to reserve the truck. A few days later I needed the truck and the whole process was smooth. I Picked up the truck, got the table and brought it home and returned the truck all within an hour. It was worth the $50 and Brenda made it an easy process. I am just leaving my storage unit today here at Freeport Storage. I was here for 3 months with some items I didn't have room for. I would like to say first, the prices are very reasonable...for the size unit I got for $100 per month, it easily would have cost $50-60 more per month at one of the bigger named facilities. Most importantly, the customer service is fantastic. Brenda, who was usually here when I was, was always more than helpful, often sticking around late to let me finish as my work schedule didn't leave much time here. David, the mgr, who set my account up, was always professional and knowledgeable about the services provided here. From the time I first made phone contact to the final arrangements, and continuing every time I use the facility, the staff has been outstanding. The new building is clean, well-lit and has an abundance of carts and stacking aids to help make it easy to move your stuff in and out. It's head and shoulders above a competitor I previously used. Today had a Issue with the elevator lift that carry items to my storage unit. I walked to the office and explained I am having an issue with the elevator. The rep responded I'm sure its something you did and seemed put off that I asked for help. She was not too happy having to walk to elevator and correct the issue. She instructed me that the 2nd door on elevator was not locked and stormed off leaving me to deal with the issue.Thats some bad service. Freeport Storage I am paying you not you paying me for my service. I will be canceling my contract in August being that I am going away. read more

I just rented a storage room in the new building at this location. In the past, I had a unit in the original building. The newer building is brand new, clean, well lit and a nice upgrade to the local area. Some of the same faces still working there which is nice to see. If you need storage, I would recommend this business. Best in the area. read more
