I tried renting the van for 2 days to celebrate a family birthday party for our grandmother. Needless to say, the whole family was severely disappointed that we were unable to travel together and celebrate her 80th birthday. I received two confirmation emails with confirmation numbers and writing from the company that said the staff is looking forward to taking care of me. One major problem... there was no vehicle for me and the staff blamed me for not calling to confirm... REALLY?!?!? There was a phone call to me, which I returned TWICE. One time I left a message confirming the vehicle and the other time the voicemail was full. The day after my calls, I received the second of two emails with confirmation numbers on them. I arrived as planned and NO VEHICLE. The staff was not only rude, but did nothing to apologize or try to get me another vehicle with someone else. They blamed me for not confirming the vehicle. I finally left after pleading my case for 15 minutes. I played the voicemail I received and showed them the two calls. I returned to them I can see they were getting aggravated with me once I told them it's all on tape. They were directed to stop talking by one of the workers behind the desk. In short, I was told that two email confirmations with confirmation numbers doesn't mean anything because it didn't come from a phone call. HELLO?!?!?! THIS IS 2025! Unbelievable. And yes, I waited two days to write this review so I could digest what actually happened. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are not many reviews for this company and I assume the positive ones that are there must've been made up by them.

Every Columbus Day for the past 3 years, I have done a one day rental of a 14 pass. van for a one…read moreday golf event. The first year the vehicle, which I pick up in Floral Park at an affiliated agency, was late and unvacuumed. Fortunately, the owners stood by their product and offered me a discount for the following year. Year 2- no problem. Year 3- van on time, but dirty, only 1/8 full of gas and affiliated location did not have the paperwork, delaying me again. Spoke to Ian, who explained I would be better off coming to the Flushing office for pickup, which is about 1/2 hour away in rush hour traffic. Ian also suggested I consider renting for 2 days instead of 1, as there would be better service. Basically, couldn't help me any further than that. So I guess I rent from somewhere else next year. There have been numerous break-ins at this location and they did nothing to inform their customers about it. I was a victim of one of these break in and management could care less. My entire unit was trashed and numerous items were stolen. The mistake I made was thinking my belongings were safe at this facility. The store employee told me there was no way they could review any video and they only had cameras on the stairs and elevator. I wish I knew this after being a customer at this location for 7 years. Do yourself a favor and find a safe storage facility to store your stuff.
