Tjader at the East Rockaway location was so helpful to me. I called to make a payment and was told…read morethe rules had changed and I was no longer able to pay over the phone or online. I don't live in NY and am unable to make payments in person. I was wondering how I'd be able to pay. I called before the office was even open and she answered the call, kept me calm when I was concerned over how I'd pay and then she accommodated me and let me make the payment on the phone. I truly appreciate her assistance. I was panicking and she made everything easier. She truly deserves 5 stars.

This place is full of hidden fees. I booked a storage unit online at $155 a month, when I got there…read moreI paid almost that much before I even got a unit assigned. They charge $10 for storage insurance , $20 for a lock, $25 for administrative fees and a bunch of other tag ons that I don't even remember like keys and key fobs. The worst of it all, the guy taking your information is slow as molasses. So the entire process takes about 30+ minutes of time while your truck rental sits and waits. They won't give you the key until they're done so your friends can't even be helping while you're inside. And after I wait for the slowest typer on the island to finish he says oops it didn't save. I hope I can find my next place quickly so I can cut my time with them incredibly short.

I wish I could give Keating 6 stars, they are that good!…read more They showed up on time. They were professional. They knew what they were doing; nothing was a problem. They were careful with everything. We have not finished unpacking but so far we have not found anything damaged. They worked hard without complaining on a hot and humid day. All that and their price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Keating Moving and Storage to anyone who needs moving services.

This is a shame, as this company was referred to me by my uncle. Unfortunately, my experience has…read morebeen extremely disappointing. One of my boxes went missing while in one of their own storage units, and despite providing a clear inventory of its contents (worth close to $1,000), I've received little more than vague assurances for over 12 weeks. Only recently was I offered a reimbursement that doesn't even cover half the cost of a single item from the box. What's more concerning is the lack of accountability. No proper inventory was taken at the time of the move, and I was never told that their team should have been responsible for boxing and backing up items in order for coverage to apply. Without that transparency, it feels like customers are left unprotected if something goes wrong. For anyone considering movers, I would recommend Piece of Cake instead, they were half the price and, based on my experience, far more reliable.

This was truly a unique experience! I have moved many times…read morein my 70+ years, from the NE to the SW and back to the NE & then to the South. I have never experienced such a move as this. These "guys" are really good! Our move was very complicated. This caused us to be even more stressed than usual. It involved several stops, picking up stuff at our place in Nassau, delivering some items out east, then delivering to our place in Florida, and then a few items to another address near us in FL. AND, it also involved a Cleanout! From the very beginning, everything went smoothly. The packer (Simone) was wonderful - not only did she pack quickly, and properly, but she was so personable that it almost felt like a friend was helping us pack. Then moving day came, and the 4 guys were in & out in less time than expected, and made the trip out east to deliver some furniture. They were polite & efficient at all times. A week later, there they were, at our Florida home. After they left us, off to another address with the rest of our stuff. Unfortunately, while there, the elderly woman greeting them was having some medical issues. She called her daughter & praised the movers for their patience. (What the moving guys did not know was this woman's medical issue was that she was having a mild heart attack). Last thing - the move came in UNDER the estimate. I highly recommend this company.
