I met with at least 5 other moving companies before picking Leavy Brothers Moving. I am glad I picked Leavy Brothers and Greg Leavy. Greg Leavy is honest and transparent. He came on time for my appointments with him and he was always available. His movers were skilled and careful. They all made my move as easy as it could've possibly been. Greg's price was accurate and it never changed. I will be hiring them for my move back into my home, once the building is complete. I'm thankful that we found Leavy Brothers and we are happy to be using a reputable and honest mover.

This was truly a unique experience! I have moved many times…read morein my 70+ years, from the NE to the SW and back to the NE & then to the South. I have never experienced such a move as this. These "guys" are really good! Our move was very complicated. This caused us to be even more stressed than usual. It involved several stops, picking up stuff at our place in Nassau, delivering some items out east, then delivering to our place in Florida, and then a few items to another address near us in FL. AND, it also involved a Cleanout! From the very beginning, everything went smoothly. The packer (Simone) was wonderful - not only did she pack quickly, and properly, but she was so personable that it almost felt like a friend was helping us pack. Then moving day came, and the 4 guys were in & out in less time than expected, and made the trip out east to deliver some furniture. They were polite & efficient at all times. A week later, there they were, at our Florida home. After they left us, off to another address with the rest of our stuff. Unfortunately, while there, the elderly woman greeting them was having some medical issues. She called her daughter & praised the movers for their patience. (What the moving guys did not know was this woman's medical issue was that she was having a mild heart attack). Last thing - the move came in UNDER the estimate. I highly recommend this company.

Had a ton of paper from my business , Mostly records on copy paper…read more I had about 30 big milk crates filled with paper. I called around and no one would take it and the town said to leave a little out at a time would of taken 5 years to get rid of it all. I found Grenelefe Recyclers by accident when I did a google search. They were the only one that I could find that would take paper. Not only do they take the paper but they pay you 3.55 cents per pound. I called them and asked if they picked up and they said they did but that there was a $150 charge for pickup minus the 3.55 cents a pound. So unless you had a real large quantity it did not pay to have them pick it up. I loaded up my car and drove to Oceanside, It took about 35 minutes. When you get there you put your car or truck on a huge scale then you come off and they give you bins to put all the paper in. Then when you are done you go back on the scale so they can see the difference so they know how much paper you dropped off. I dropped off a little over 1300 pounds of paper and got $46. The people there were very nice and very helpful. when one bin was full they immediately took it away and brought another bin. I have to admit it was a bit far to travel but unfortunately I could not find another place. I highly recommend Grenelefe Recyclers as they provide a great service and are friendly and very helpful. And best of all you get paid for the paper
