Renter beware…read more Beware of the bait and switch with Prime Storage in Marietta at Shallowford. After only 2 months, our storage unit rental price went up 300%. When I called, they negotiated down to only doubling the rent. :| I specifically asked if we were getting a move-in special rate that would only be available for a short time, and I was told no. That this was the storage unit rate. I was willing to overlook the dark hallways - light bulbs have been out around our unit the whole time - and the fact we unloaded stuff to move into a unit that was already taken and had to be reassigned, but the bait and switch is intolerable. Read the fine print. The contract is meaningless. We were planning on renting a second storage unit from Prime Storage. Instead, we will be moving out to another storage facility.

Pathetic. They have my money and I'm out thousands. Stay away from Sandy Plains MorningStar. Terrible. Later I found multiple reports of the same thing happening. Don't leave anything of value here. Zero accountability from these people. They have my money. No refund. No Apology and then they raise the rent. Days before I realized I had been robbed they had me resign my insurance policy. Show up and Pub Storage has changed my lock with NO WRITTEN NOTICE!!! I have never been late on a single payment and my stuff has been here for 2 year. Now I have to schedule a move out. The property manager is impossible to reach. Every attempt to call the property manager results in an endless loop of automated system that never gets you to a person. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this rental and the customer service is always a nightmare. Stay away!

They state one price online, but then Jack up the price. The refuse to honor the price, giving only one discount for your unit. It's basically legal blackmail, as they know you're most unlikely to move units. I've been misinformed on multiple items. property manager suggested I get a family member to rent a new unit, as the current unit kept going up in price and PS failed to honor the original price. Upon moving in the unit, the price jacked from $47 to $120. Needless to say I immediately moved out. Also note they lie about their locks. BRING your own and refuse theirs. They WILL not give money back for returned locks. I was told this, and returned TWO. In which I expected $42 to be refunded; was even told so over the phone. Yet they haven't. I'm about to file a police report and complaint with better business. Horrible company, DO NOT TRUST them!

My review is for the Uhaul Dealership here…read more I rented a smaller uhaul truck from this location and did the after hours pickup/dropoff. It was the first time I had ever scheduled after hours so was worried how the process would go. In my request, I put in for furniture protection cloths. When I arrived, the process was easier than I thought. I dloaded the Uhaul app, and they had 5 lock boxes near the front door. Through the app, it gave me a code for the key and also a photo of where my uhaul was. Everything was all there! The drop-off process took a little longer (had to take like 8 photos) but the convenience and ease of getting/returning Uhaul was much simpler than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the small uhauls don't have a ramp and I "think" the Uhaul we had contained bed bugs. Please thoroughly clean vehicles after each use.
