If I could give a negative review I would. Caution to anyone looking to use Public Storage, as someone who had multiple units at this location and out of state, I would NOT recommend them. They state one price online, but then Jack up the price. The refuse to honor the price, giving only one discount for your unit. It's basically legal blackmail, as they know you're most unlikely to move units. I've been misinformed on multiple items. property manager suggested I get a family member to rent a new unit, as the current unit kept going up in price and PS failed to honor the original price. Upon moving in the unit, the price jacked from $47 to $120. Needless to say I immediately moved out. Also note they lie about their locks. BRING your own and refuse theirs. They WILL not give money back for returned locks. I was told this, and returned TWO. In which I expected $42 to be refunded; was even told so over the phone. Yet they haven't. I'm about to file a police report and complaint with better business. Horrible company, DO NOT TRUST them! read more

Horrible. Two positives are that he units are temperature-controlled and clean. BUT, my biggest problem with Public Storage is 1) that they quote you a rate when you first rent. Mine was $46. They keep increasing the monthly price, citing "market value" as a reason. I just got a notification that as of January 1, my rent will increase to $147. 2) Access to Public Storage elevators is tricky. You have to push the elevator button and put in your code (again) outside the elevator in order to go anywhere. 3) No one is on site to help you. You have to call the main number and talk to an agent somewhere in the US. Don't bother! read more

Nice clean space but I've been there since mid April and the lights outside my storage space have been out the entire time. I literally cannot see in my space without a flashlight. I have asked about it 3 times and they tell me they're switching to LED. It doesn't take a month and a half and I'm any event there's no excuse for a dark storage space. read more

I have been a customer of public storage for years and am disgusted with the way they are treating their customers and communities during the covid 19 pandemic. They will send my account to collections if I do not pay a full months rent vs being ethical and pro rating my rent due to loss of job for the one day I occupied it. I spoke to the manager, who sent me to an 800#, who sent me to a district manager. I left a detailed message (as instructed) and was told that my call would be returned in 48 hours. That was the morning of April 2. Today is April 6, no call back. Don't take my word for it though. Go on their Facebook account, posts, see visitors posts and read how many people they are hurting, it is disgraceful. In a time where so many businesses are making efforts to help those affected, public storage could absolutely care less. Also, this facility used to be what I considered safe and well maintained. In January I was harassed by 'movers' who had finished a job and were loitering in the parking lot looking for work. A couple of men removed my belongings from my cart as I was rearranging my vehicle and expected me to pay them for their help. I've also witnessed people living inside of the units on multiple occasions. If you do have to keep your belongings at this facility, keep your eyes open and be safe. read more

The time passed without exceptions at this safe, clean, convenient and well-managed facility. Doing a review just on signing up online and moving in. I have never needed storage so had to do a lot of research (yelp helped). Public storage has a great website and gives online discounts. You get to see the space before you rent and it looks like all units are climate controlled at this location. The location is also very safe and the workers I have met and talked to have been very helpful and friendly. That was nice because moving sucks. Happy with the pricing. Will update again as the months past but right now 5 stars! read more

Everything is well lit and if there are any concerns they are handled immediately. When going after office hours everything still feel safe and protected. A couple of things they could do to improve service, though the facility is very clean and sharp looking: 1. Provide blocks to keep the carts from rolling down the hill. Yes, the entrance is on an incline. 2. Provide a means of keeping the doors open for long moves. It's troublesome to have to enter your code 50 times for both the entrance and the elevator. 3. Activate the "close doors" buttons on the elevators. They take forever to close. 4. Return phone calls. 5. If you make an appointment, make sure you are in the office or leave a note. Otherwise, cancel the appointment if you are not going to be there. 6. Check in procedure is very efficient, particularly if you fill in your paperwork online. 7. Do not buy their locks. Though they will tell you that their prices are competitive with home depot, they are not. $18 each vs. $24 for two at HD. Same goes for moving supplies, though they are even less competitive. 8. Very good corporate website. Very helpful. read more
