I began using this public storage location back in 2013. I signed up online for a unit that I was interested in and within an hour I received a friendly call this locations manager, Julia. She was very pleasant and thorough by giving me specific details about my online reservation while ending the call with hopes of seeing me on reservation day. Continuing with her wonderful pleasantries I arrived at the location and received the warmest welcome by the manager Julia. She was very nice, friendly and most helpful to me with a tour of the location along with showing me the unit I had requested. I couldn't resist her AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE which had me ready to sign my contract. I remained at Julias location for almost 2 yrs until I was ready to move into my next apartment again in 2015. Well due to some unfortunate health circumstances at my now former apartment complex, I had no other alternative to move out completely. As a result, I definitely was going to need a place to store my belongings. So without question I immediately thought of the kind and wonderful customer service I received from Julia. I went online to make a reservation back at Julia's location not sure if she was still there but going along with high hopes that she would be. So as I waited for the location manager to call me let's just say that I was so OVERJOYED to hear that friendly caring voice on the other end of the phone...yes it was Julia !! You would think $525 monthly rent would get you something good?? !!! SCAMMERS run this establishment. It's kinda of fun - month to month I get the pleasure of finding a new fault in the facilities. Last month, there was trash all over the building. As if multiple units had been ransacked .. . . by a blind person. This month, EVERY elevator being out????? Yessss let's have elevators not work for WEEKS in a building that's purpose is to store large items Everytime I go into this building I leave full of anger and regret - anger of how much negligence this place is getting away with, and regret knowing I'm pouring my money down the drain even supporting this business. Because of the poor management of this storage unit, I'm having to INVEST in movers - which will NOT be pleased to hear about the elevator situation either. I WILL BE SENDING "PUBLIC STORAGE" THE INVOICE!!!!!!!!!! I would be better storing my items in an abandon shed. read more

The property manager was very nice and professional but that place is a mess. I happened to get the manager to meet me onsite, but I have been trying to deal with customer service support all day and it's all AI chat. Calling in sends you down a rabbit hole of automated selections. You don't get a person no matter what. I do not recommend. I am just going to have to dispute the charges I guess..... read more

As an update, the elevator is still out of service. Going on 2.5 weeks now. Still awaiting an update from management on this.

Beware, public storage will charge you for the entire month regardless of the day of leaving the facility. My daughter moved out early on 1 March 2025 and they still charged her the entire month. She spoke with an area manager and corporate office which would not accommodate a young student. However, you can bet that same facility will be rented out for another month the next day. It's not like they are losing money but in some instances will be paid twice for the same month. I understand the policy but most storage facilities pro rate based on when you move out or in the facility. We will never use Public Storage again. read more

Please note that this public storage is not open 24 hours. If you need to access the facility after 9 PM, you are out of luck and your phone access will not allow you in. I thought most storage places had 24 hour access, but not this one. If you need 24 hour access, look elsewhere. Also, the carts are in bad shape and need to be replaced. read more

I have had a small storage at this location for a couple of years and MS. Julia has always been very kind and helpful. So, when I called her a few days ago as I was in need of just a little more space, I asked if there were any slightly larger units available and she said there were two. I got there and she had already pulled up my info and then we went to view the "new" unit and it was exactly what I needed! Everything is always so nice and clean too! Ms. Julia did the transfer in the system for the new unit, which was down the hall from the old one. Ms. Julia is wonderful and is always professional! Thank you! Had to rent another storage unit for work purposes this time. 1st Time was a bit stressful and I remember the lady who helped me made the experience memorable so I came back again. This place is amazing. Cleaner then I remember, floors shining, bathrooms sparkling. Even the elevators are clean. Had to wait because other patrons were before me but customer service was impeccable. The facility is located next to Gateway at Sandy Springs, adjacent to the Sprouts up high on a hill next door. Its always full so getting a spot can be a challenge so plan ahead. Best storage facility in town. read more

DJ is the backbone of this location. I'm sure other people work there, I'm SURE there is a manager, and so forth, but I have only ever dealt with DJ, and once, Julia, who was great too. Since I moved out of state, DJ let me know the options I had available, encouraged me to escalate as needed for special requests, offered EXCELLENT SERVICE, and has been very kind and accommodating. I have movers sending my stuff to me, and I almost hate to leave! Its always great popping in when I'm in town, so I may just still do that :) read more

This storage facility is very well managed, and the manager is easy to work with. They are very helpful and friendly, and make the stressful moving process as easy as possible. There are always plenty of dollies available for moving, and it is very easy to move loads quickly with the large freight elevators. I would definitely recommend using this storage facility. Needed a place to park some personal items after selling our cabin at the lake. Arrived back to ATL with a van full of stuff. Had checked out a few places but not committed. We came back to this location because it was clean, well cared for and Julia, the manager was very helpful and professional. I reserved the unit on-line first since they had an internet special available. The only negative comment I have is that they were advertising "1/2 off the first months rent" but only offered a discount on the "pro-rated first months rent". It was only $15 or $20 difference but it came across as deceptive. read more

Packed up my office recently and was in need of boxes and other moving supplies. Came to this location because I used them in the pass when I needed storage. Julia the manager who helped me before was still there and made sure everything I needed was taken care of. They sell these great moving packages with a variety of supplies contained in one box with handles for easy carrying. The bonus box worked for my pictures frames. Considering most of the 5 star reviews were either employees or were paid for its best I add my experience. The customer service is a poor excuse for even a simply consumer-producer relationship. The promotions are meant to draw you in but a couple months later they WILL raise the monthly amount on you and will act as if you should feel guilty for taking the promotion in the first place with no warning of an increase. The storage units are beyond ratty, their barely held together by one screw with cheap locks and they still make YOU accountable for their negligence. Personally I'm in a place where I do not need such things but watching my mother go through what she is with them while focusing on my job is a real challenge. read more
