I called you on October 9, 2023, at 10:53 AM and left a message to tell you that I was pulling my boat out on November 6, 2023, to put it in winter storage. You called me back at 12:03 PM the same day and told me that I would have to pay for the entire month of November. I had no problem with that. You said that you normally get a 30-day written notice of departing your facility but since we were talking, you would accept the verbal notice (this should have been in your notes). My wife accidentally paid you twice and you admit it.  On November 6th I pulled my boat off your property and moved it to winter storage.  When I got home my wife told me about the double payment. I called you at 1:27 PM on November 6th to inform you about the double payment. You told me you posted the double payment for November and December, and I was covered for December storage fee even though I was not storing anything on your property, and you were not giving me my money back. I posted my review on YELP on November 6th to warn others of your corrupt business practice. You called me at 2:09 PM after reading the review on YELP on the 6th and left me a voice mail which included the following: "Hey Bruce, Todd Payne here, I went back and looked at all my records, NOTES, and everything and I don't see anything that you've notified me that you were leaving for 30 days but what I can do is take that EXTRA PAYMENT THAT YOUR WIFE MADE that I posted for December and KEEP IT and hold your spot for you. You'll start back up in the summer and make payments. Just give me a call back".  These are your words, Todd. You are admitting to keeping the extra payment and not returning my money even though you were notified in October. Why don't you have any records and I do. I am warning everyone to stay away, or you will have to shut your MONTH!

The signup is completely hassle free and they provided me with all of my storage details electronically which is super convenient. On move-in day I was able to access the gate with no issue and my unit was EXTREMELY clean which says a lot because my other unit was filthy compared to this. So I really appreciate the upkeep for this unit. My only ding is the mobile app is very iffy so at times I couldn't access the gate without having to contact the virtual customer support line. They ultimately issued me a keypad code which I use as a backup. Overall I love this place and highly recommend to others looking to store items for a period of time.

The hallways and the unit itself were very clean, and the locker ended up being larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing I noticed was that the area where my unit is located felt a bit warm, like maybe the A/C was down. Since I did opt for climate control, that gives me a little pause -- but I'm hoping it was just an off day and not the norm. They wrapped a lot of items in plastic. We moved from a 2nd level 2-bed 1-bath apt. to a 1-story home. I would have appreciated better estimates from the company. We were quoted an hourly rate and a 1-hr travel fee. The estimated time was 2 hours and for arrival at 3 PM. The arrival time was 5 PM, and the move lasted until after 10 PM. So the time estimates were not correct. This also increased the travel fee. So 5 hours labor, the travel fee, plus gas mileage expense, and some supplies, for everything including the $100 deposit, it was $1,300 to move. I was a bit shocked but maybe that's normal with today's prices. There were no issues with the move.

They also damaged our hardwood floors and walls! I was going to get regular piano movers but they said they could do it. They refuse to pay us for the damage. They said it would take 3-4 hours to move us b/c my husband had all of the boxes . All they had to only move the large furniture, and it took them 8 hours @ &259/hour! Needless to say, what should have cost$1000 ended up costing $3000!! They only had to move us 2.5 miles! They left more furniture at old house and we never saw this crew again! I called the office and they had to send another crew out to finish the job at 6:00! Oh, and they broke one of our tall boy dressers-- lifted it from the middle, and they should have lifted it from the bottom, like moist movers!! also asked for their tips (one mover in particular) every half hour!
