I called you on October 9, 2023, at 10:53 AM and left a message to tell you that I was pulling my boat out on November 6, 2023, to put it in winter storage. You called me back at 12:03 PM the same day and told me that I would have to pay for the entire month of November. I had no problem with that. You said that you normally get a 30-day written notice of departing your facility but since we were talking, you would accept the verbal notice (this should have been in your notes). My wife accidentally paid you twice and you admit it.  On November 6th I pulled my boat off your property and moved it to winter storage.  When I got home my wife told me about the double payment. I called you at 1:27 PM on November 6th to inform you about the double payment. You told me you posted the double payment for November and December, and I was covered for December storage fee even though I was not storing anything on your property, and you were not giving me my money back. I posted my review on YELP on November 6th to warn others of your corrupt business practice. You called me at 2:09 PM after reading the review on YELP on the 6th and left me a voice mail which included the following: "Hey Bruce, Todd Payne here, I went back and looked at all my records, NOTES, and everything and I don't see anything that you've notified me that you were leaving for 30 days but what I can do is take that EXTRA PAYMENT THAT YOUR WIFE MADE that I posted for December and KEEP IT and hold your spot for you. You'll start back up in the summer and make payments. Just give me a call back".  These are your words, Todd. You are admitting to keeping the extra payment and not returning my money even though you were notified in October. Why don't you have any records and I do. I am warning everyone to stay away, or you will have to shut your MONTH!

I was told that I needed to empty my unit, sweep it, remove the lock, and raise the door, which is considered the "proper" way to vacate a unit. I have done everything as instructed yet I am still waiting for acknowledgement that my unit was "properly" vacated. The signup is completely hassle free and they provided me with all of my storage details electronically which is super convenient. On move-in day I was able to access the gate with no issue and my unit was EXTREMELY clean which says a lot because my other unit was filthy compared to this. So I really appreciate the upkeep for this unit. My only ding is the mobile app is very iffy so at times I couldn't access the gate without having to contact the virtual customer support line. They ultimately issued me a keypad code which I use as a backup. Overall I love this place and highly recommend to others looking to store items for a period of time.

The hallways and the unit itself were very clean, and the locker ended up being larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I hate a company that advertises a price and just because their terms says they can change prices when ever they want for any reason they decide to be greedy and increase on me. I'm only 4 months in. From what I see others had the same issue, prices increasing every 4-6 months. Garbage. Don't advertise a price and then double it! The quality is iffy too in my opinion. I have a "climate controlled" unit and inside the unit it feels muggy. I just hope my items don't have any damage from the heat.
