First, the management and people associated with this storage facility are wonderful! They were…read morekind, helpful and just nice people. That's why this review is bittersweet. I rented the unit primarily to house one of my cars during bad weather; we have hail in this area and I wanted an extra garage space. It's not as close to my house as I would have preferred, but it was close enough and the rental prices were fair. Within a few months after I rented my unit, the price almost doubled to more than $300 a month. I realize this was likely not the fault of the people I saw everyday, but a corporate decision. Nonetheless, it felt like a clear bait-and-switch scheme. I made the reluctant decision to end my relationship with this company.

But then I discovered that the exact same unit could be booked through the web portal for $34/month. I phoned the site manager and tried to get the company to just do a transfer or give me the rate from the internet. I was told it "wasn't possible". Then I spent an hour moving all my stuff. There was nobody in the office at the location to respond to help with checkout/checkin and closeout of the old unit, even tough it was during advertised business hours. When I reached out to their customer service by phone the next day, I got a totally different story and was told I could have just done an account transfer. They didn't want to give me a prorated month for the unit we moved out of. Just seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing here. I called Madge 3 times and got no response...
