Lesley was very helpful in the initial processing of my lease. Quick, simple, and painless - could not ask for anything more.

Here's the list of damages: hutch glass broken, two finials off of an antique bed broken off (they couldn't find the finials), antique Fender guitar case cracked/broken, large gouges on concrete floor in garage, over a dozen gouges and scrapes/scuffs on walls throughout the house, pedals removed from Yamaha grand piano (not supposed to be removed), glass broken on large picture, scrapes and back of antique mirror split, front door scraped, scratches on wood furniture throughout house that we wound up repairing ourselves. It got so out of hand that the supervisor showed up and sent the crew outside. This is a brand new house and was in perfect condition until Two Men and a Truck moved us in. We chose them because they had the lowest bid - our bad! They repaired most of the cosmetic issues but compensation for antique bed damage, antique guitar case damage, and permanent gouges on the garage floor fell seriously short ... $600? And all of the repairs were not completed until a week ago, so damages still visible throughout the holidays. Regret not going with Two Guys and a Truck out of Anderson ... higher bid but also higher standards.

We moved from Brownsburg to NE Missouri. After getting 5 quotes done, and everyone saying 1 semi or…read more(2) moving trucks, we chose the moving trucks because of our hill where we were moving to. We went through the video quoting session with the sales lady and she was very excited about how well I was able to give her box counts and she saw all my husband's wood working tables/saws/supplies still out on the shelves. The estimate was for two trucks and a 10-foot trailer. Approximately $15,000 and we box everything. We even boxed his tools in plastic containers and carried them to the garage to help them out. Day of pickup I said where is the trailer? They said we don't rent trailers. The sales lady wanted me to go rent a trailer (NEVER mentioned) and haul it behind one of our vehicles. NEVER was that mentioned. They loaded their two trucks and they were tired and wanted to get on the road to Missouri. There was still another truckload of merchandise scattered throughout the house. They were making excuses why they couldn't haul the electric grill, fire hazard, a box of canned food, they don't haul food, rolled up rugs, 30 more containers, and vacuum cleaner. Their supervisor said for a fee they would bring a 3rd truck and load it. Their quote included everything in the house. We had already taken the cold food, 12 bags of groceries, 2 truckloads of clothes and linens, plus donated 3-5 truckloads of stuff (desk, treadmill, chairs, Lumber, Tile, Tools) so they should have had plenty of room. It cost us to rent a one-way Uhaul $600 plus food, fuel, and hotel to come back and load our remailing possessions. The men worked hard but showed up without anything for lunch and expected us to buy it, and then the next day after unloading the truck the TIP was brought up. We gave them each $100 cash - but they acted as if it was an insult. We had bought their lunch, provided drinks, not at all mentioned in the contract. The #TwoMenandaTruck Organization should investigate this branch. I wasn't asking the manager for a refund, I wanted everything hauled to our new home as our contract said. The open area in the truck pictures, showing their employee closing the door, proves they loaded the trucks incorrectly and could have gotten all of our merchandise into the trucks. We did nothing wrong but were punished and insulted by their district manager. NO ONE should mention adding a "trailer" if they don't offer them for rent. How was I to know. How would a 10-foot trailer have helped when it took another 24-foot truck to move the balance. Why would she assume we had a vehicle that could tow a trailer.

They even took some stuff away as my boyfriend and I had some furniture we did not need. I highly recommend Kendrick and Fisher from two men in a truck. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a moving company…read more We hired this company after a flood to pack up our belongings so repairs could be done and then move everything back in. We paid a very large amount for this service and also paid extra for their insurance coverage specifically to protect our valuables. During the packing process, they broke several items worth thousands of dollars. When we filed a claim, instead of taking responsibility or honoring the insurance we paid for, the owner was rude, dismissive, and outright hostile. We were essentially told "too bad, you should've packed it yourself," and "if you didn't want it broken, you shouldn't have hired us." That is completely unacceptable, especially from a business that charges for professional packing and insurance. Not only did they fail to protect our belongings, but they also refused to fairly address the damage and spoke to us in a shockingly unprofessional and offensive way. We trusted them during an already stressful time after a flood, and they made the situation much worse. I strongly warn others: do not use this company if you care about your property or expect basic professionalism and accountability. Paying extra for their insurance meant nothing, and the way we were treated afterward was insulting and outrageous.

It had to go through a wooden privacy gate, a patio door and stood on end to get into a hallway and bathroom door. At our age it wasn't even an option for us to attempt so I went directly to Yelp. I pulled up movers under Yelp, of course, and called three or four movers in the area. Bellhop charged by the hour, didn't seem dettered by the weight or standing on end and was available when we needed. Bellhop texted and emailed a confirmation and reminder while the lead mover introduced himself by text and confirmed the arrival time and exactly what they were moving a few days before. The day of the move they arrived separately and promptly, both were dressed appropriately (pants weren't down past their booty), polite, they worked well together, were careful and listened to suggestions my husband had without taking offense. We've had to move several large items into our house and knew what would work. We ended up having 3/4" to an 1" head clearance going through the bathroom door. They handled it like troopers and nothing was damaged. The move from start to finish only took an hour and 15 minutes. The bathroom vanity had no scratches and the marble top was in perfect shape. Bellhop doesn't provide furniture or appliance dollies unless you're renting a truck. We provided both for the movers but they weren't neccesary. They just carried the bathroom vanity and handled like pro's. If I need something moved again I won't hesitate to call Bellhops Moving.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bellhop and would not use this company again. I have…read moremoved numerous times over the past decade and have hired many moving companies during that time. This was, without question, the worst moving experience I have ever had. The issues started when the movers left behind one of the most important pieces of my furniture, my bed frame. After discovering it had been left behind, I repeatedly contacted Bellhop in an attempt to have the situation corrected. Unfortunately, responses were slow and not provided in a timely manner. Because I was unable to get a prompt response or meaningful assistance, I was ultimately forced to retrieve the bed frame myself befoere I lost it. My personal vehicle is a two door sedan and could not accommodate such a large bed frame, meaning I had to rent to a larger vehicle and spend additional time and money recovering an item that should never have been left behind in the first place. Despite the inconvenience, expense, and stress this caused, Bellhop's response was a $50 credit which didn't even cover the truck rental. What concerns me most is what they did to me afterwards. My move involved a move from a 1 bedroom apartment and was originally estimated at approximately four hours. I was charged for this service and the move was roughly 3-4 hours. On that day, after that move was complete, the movers informed me that they had no additional jobs scheduled for the remainder of the day. We then discussed furniture assembly as a separate service. The movers contacted Bellhop directly regarding this arrangement, and I separately agreed with them to pay $400 including tip for a few pieces of furniture assembly work. Despite this separate arrangement and separate payment afterwards, Bellhop later additonally billed me for a total of six hours for the move itseld, resulting in approximately $522 CAD in additional charges on top of the the $2000 CAD paid initially and $400 USD for furniture assembley. The furniture assembly was clearly a separate service that occurred after the move had been completed and should not have been included in the moving service, since I paid seperately for that and it was discussed after the fact. But t I was separately charged by the company for that work, and then subsequently billed for it again for hundreds of dollars more through Bellhop, and it left me shocked. The explanation I received did not align with what occurred during the move (it was not a 6 hour move) and left me with the impression that Bellhop was attempting to recharacterize separately arranged furniture assembly as moving time in order to justify additional charges to charge me as much as possible, despite the furniture assembly having been separately discussed, separately arranged, and separately paid for. I have emailed them over this and instead of addressing this, Bellhop appears to be treating that time as though it was part of the original move in order to justify additional charges. Whether this is the result of poor internal communication or a deliberate attempt to maximize billing, the outcome is the same. I was charged substantially more than I agreed to pay and was left to dispute charges that I do not believe were justified. Mistakes can happen in any business. Leaving behind a customer's furniture is a mistake. Slow communication is a mistake. But leaving behind a major piece of furniture, forcing the customer to spend additional money and time retrieving it themselves, offering compensation that does not even cover the resulting expenses, and then imposing hundreds of dollars in disputed charges afterward demonstrates a complete lack of accountability and customer service.
