Impossible to talk to a live rep. Gives local number for management that has been disconnected. Confusion when first trying to rent. You must first sign the contract then they will select an outdoor storage parking spot. The spot they selected was covered in weeds. I wanted a paved spot so they charged me an extra fee to transfer. Should not have to go to storage lot to chat with a live rep! read more

Customer service is awful! One representative tells you if you move out the first day of the month you won't have to pay for the whole month because it's prorated. Then when you go to the kiosk at the location, because this company doesn't believe in hiring live people at the locations, you get told you will get an email for the charges for the 2 days you had the unit but now I'm being charged for a whole month! Also the fact the inside storage at the Brownsburg Indiana location was impossible to access with stumbling over the sidewalk in front of it which caused me to fall twice. Would rather pay more to get good customer service and live people to assist along with a safe facility to store my items read more

I did not want to give this place any stars but wouldn't let me post without at least one. Twice with mold issues in the climate controlled units. After the first time they said the issue was fixed. Obviously not. When I noticed the second time I tried calling and emailing multiple times. I never got a response until I refused to pay, of course. Everything in the unit was ruined. Yes, I had insurance but only received a portion of what it was all worth and I still had to pay for the removal and disposal of the items. read more

When I called looking for a storage unit, the woman I spoke with on the phone, Rosie I believe, talked over me whenever I was trying to determine things I wanted to know. Overly aggressive in trying to make the sale. So I got sent a reservation Via text for a unit basically to save the info so I didn't have to go over it again with the next person I talked to in case I decided I wanted to go with them. I'm guessing, but I did not want to simply because of Rosie's aggressiveness. And then I get a phone call, which I do not answer, asking me when I want to come get the unit. Another overly aggressive sales move. Not the type of people I want to deal with. When I return the phone call to explain that I did not need the unit that I decided to go with somebody else and please take my number off the call list, Robin, had some snarky, smart remark and then said "geez" after I said thank you bye. read more

We just got here to load up our storage unit. Not convinced that a 10x15 unit will store a 4 bedroom house. When counting all the furniture, unless you go to IKEA and just store the boxes in the unit without building the furniture. The grounds are clean, well taken care of, and secure. ​ read more

They start you out at a reasonable rate and then they increase it without notifying you of the increase. if you try and call them you most likely won't get an answer. I moved all my stuff out 2 months ago and have been trying to close my account since then but nobody answers. finally someone answered and said they can't close my account until the lock is removed I told them to just cut it then because I work long hours I do not have time to go over there, they refused. I went there to do it myself but now they won't let me in because I cut off autopay. I already paid for one month even though I wasn't using the unit I'm not going to pay for another. And their service is no automated they have no people that work at the store. read more

We rented a climate controlled storage unit last year when we started building our house. On 10/3/2021 we were contacted and told there was an issue with our unit. We went there the next day and found that our stuff was covered in mold. They asked us to come back later in the week for remediation. When we came back we were told by the District Manager they will clean what they can. Anything they can't clean, they will wrap it in plastic and put back in the unit or help you load it in your vehicle. They want you to have your moldy stuff out in the next 7 days. The end. No refund of any fees. They can't be responsible for a failure of the HVAC system. The contract absolves them of any accountability. read more

As I was moving my belongings into my unit in September 2021, I was told by another tenant that her entire unit was covered in mold. I went to the office to discuss it because I didn't want my things ruined, (I'd seen hers and really shouldn't have even been breathing in there) and they claimed it was the tenants fault that they didn't control the moisture in the air in there. Lol. I put a bucket of bleach water and some damp x in my unit and the next day it was literally crystallized. I haven't even been there for a year and they've raised rent by $50 more!! Ridiculous and I'm moving everything out. 0/10 do NOT recommend. I've never paid so much for a storage unit and for the quality it's a waste read more

As soon as we open the door someone had allowed something to leak inside the unit prior and of course it was not clean when we got it! IWas not happy about that at all, we had to arrange our stuff around the oily spot which was an inconvenience , there is dried blood on the floor as well as you walk down the hall, and as well as broken stuff on the floor. We swept it up to try to minimize us walking on it making it worse. I figured someone would pick it up and throw it away but no went there the next day and it's still there meaning no one is checking on it. I called to see if I could move up the day of move in but the lady was rude and said she couldn't because it was already in the computer. This is something that could be improved it would have helped us tremendously! The whole insurance thing and lock thing is not acceptable. I would rather have an option but oh well. i was in a pinch so I had to get this storage unit but if I would've had options I would've picked a different place. read more
