I stopped by to ask questions and was met by a gentleman that seemed very busy carrying a ladder back inside the main office. He tried to put the ladder down but I told him I could wait for him to put it up and I held the door for him to make it easy. Even though I could tell he was busy, he stopped and answered all my questions and made me feel 100% comfortable with them. For location, price, and the customer service I received so far, I would definitely suggest this storage location.

My husband showed up with 2 truckloads of our things at 10:20 and no one was there and it was obvious they were still closed from the night before. Customer service via the call center is a joke. We both were calling and despite talking to 4-5 people no one could help us and no one called us back as requested. My husband was able to use the kiosk to get a key and pay despite it restarting several times only to find out the gate code it provided didn't work. Finally after 11 someone showed up and let my husband in and he was able to unload the trucks into our unit. The following Monday we followed up to voice our frustration and let them know we weren't sure we were going to stay a few months as we intended. Long story short rather than an apology we were kicked out and told our stuff needed to be out the next day. We had to load up our things and find another storage location. Global Self Storage has terrible customer service and at the end of the day they might just kick you out if they don't like what you have to say. Not worth it!

Fortress U-Haul records the gas from the previous rental, then moves the trucks from inside to outside the gate daily until the next rental. Fortress U-Haul moved my truck back and forth for over two months and expected me to pay for the gas. The tank was empty when I picked up the vehicle. After I returned the vehicle, I showed Cindy the pictures I took of the empty gas gauge right after I picked up the truck, two receipts for gas I purchased before and after I used the vehicle, the gas gauge after I refueled and she threatened to sue me for $5.00... The hallways and the unit itself were very clean, and the locker ended up being larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing I noticed was that the area where my unit is located felt a bit warm, like maybe the A/C was down. Since I did opt for climate control, that gives me a little pause -- but I'm hoping it was just an off day and not the norm. All in all, solid first impression and glad to have the extra space at a good price and location!
