I live close by this facility ,got a very nice sized storage ,deal was great but after a year or when deal is over the price goes way up ..my only hang up is the site manager who left me a message on my voicemail as if she were my parole officer!!Said I VIOLATED the contract ..I called the facility immediately,mind you ,I rarely ever go this place because of my work .I was being scolded for being at the facility past 10pm for drying up my wet car .Went to this place at 9pm ,got all my stuff before 10pm ,left 15min after 10pm and they suspended me from entering the building!!!!!!Wow !!!I am getting out of this prison cell!!! read more

Clean, great service, and great prices!! Compared Extra Space to other competitors and they had much better pricing overall. And who doesn't like a good deal? As soon as we walked in we were attended attentively and shown the different storage spacing units. I do not recommend trusting the leasing agents. They guaranteed me a prorated fee for my last month. However, they did not let me know about the condition that you cannot pay for the whole month via EasyPay and still receive a prorated amount. The leasing agent made me the guarantee and immediately offered easypay. Why would he offer me easy pay knowing i wanted the pro rated amount? Further, customer service has been no help in addressing my concern about the misleading leasing agent. Customer service is inconsistent and provides empty promises. Do not recommend renting here read more

On plus side, the building is clean and leak (water) and pest free. On the negative side is that they lure you in with a low price, and once you get your stuff moved in (and are less likely to want to move out) the price jumps up. I was renting their smallest unit, 5x5x5x, it started off at $22 a month, and by the time I left it was $62. Personally I would not do business with them again. read more

Website is easy to use and made reserving space super easy. Customer service on the phone was friendly and helpful. First month of rent is free, regardless of how long you stay. Facility is well lit, clean, and temperature controlled. The staff allowed me to view and approve the unit I had reserved before I signed anything. Very secure, key code is required in multiple entry points to gain access to your unit. Moving in was easy, the hours are convenient, the staff was helpful. Parking is easy. I will use them in the future and would definitely reccomend this facility to anyone in need of storage! Location is conveniently close to the expressway. read more

Store manager - Denise Derengowski and her trainee were outstanding. I stopped by to sign a lease. My storage in South Carolina was bought over by Extra Space storage. I was told that I could go to any branch to sign my lease on line. It's not something that they deal with on a daily basis, but Denise cheerfully explained my new lease; made changes that were on from my old lease, and I signed and initialed electronically. She was very upbeat and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Her assistant was very innovative, also. It was a pleasure to drop in from the train and work with them. I even paid my bill while I was there. They are definitely an assist to your company. Kudos! read more

Terrible terrible terrible place. I cannot give any stars. Do not fell into this crack. It was so crap. The store manager Isa is terrible. She made mistake on my account record so I could not pay on time. Then she charged me fees, broke my unit lock , asked me to pay to replace the lock and put my unit into foreclosure. And threat me. I never saw anywhere treats loyal customers badly as this place. If it is not in pandemic, I will take my staffs out immediately. Do not waste your money on this place. They just want to take advantage of you. My fee was 70 in the beginning. Now it is over 100 and they even charge bigger one cheaper because I left my staffs there for more than two to three years. They took advantage of loyal customers. It is so terrible! read more

UNANTICIPATED RATE INCREASES !! The place is clean and convenient for me, I'll say that, but after being there only 5 months, they hit me with a 25% RATE INCREASE with no warning!! You would think that the rate you start with would be guaranteed for at least a year. When I complained they told me that it was "standard in the industry". That is a bunch of BULL. I've rented storage space in the past and the rent was very stable for at least a year. Moving out as soon as possible. read more

-** (NEGATIVE STARS!!) Ok, I haven't actually USED the storage facility, but I was looking into it...UNTIL, the mafia collection agency called everybody I know to seal the deal! WTH??!! Well, to start it off....I called to inquire about the prices. I thought they were pretty good, so I told them I was at work and I would call them back in approx. 30 -45 minutes. She was like, "You can hold it with a credit card." I was like, "AGAIN, I am at work and don't have my purse with me." She goes, "Can you call somebody and get your credit card number? I can hold on." WTF??!! That should have been my first clue. I go, "NO. NO ONE has MY credit card numbers. I gotta go." Ok, to bring you up to par....I work for the airlines. The phone I called on is MY WORK PHONE where the FAA (Federal Aviation Agency) and the pilots are supposed to call in on....like, SO THEY WON'T CRASH. And, it is located at the GATE of our airline....it is soooo not for personal calls, but our bosses are pretty cool about OUTGOING calls. Anyway, do you know this heffa got the number off the caller ID, called back and my boss answered as she was scanning the passenger's passes and boarding the damn plane?!! I didn't realize it until later on. I just remember my boss looking crazy and angrily going, "Excuse me? Who do you want to talk to? WHAT?!! NO, you have the wrong number. This is NOT a personal line, this is a business." Even though I had NOOOO idea that was the storage place my boss was talking to, THANK GOD I had given the idiot my nickname and not my real name. So, there wasn't a way to link the stupid b*tch to me right off. If so, I would have peed my shiny navy blue pants right there in front of 150 passengers and a Federal Air Marshall on their way to JFK. Fast forward....I stop by the facility to look at the unit after work. PRICES ARE TOTALLY NOT THE SAME. I told the guy about the internet quote I had received earlier. The guy had no clue what the hell I was talking about. So, not thinking (and BEFORE realization set in), I called the 800 number from my other job's cell phone. Do you know "the mafia" started calling again back to back to back TO BACK on MY JOB'S CELL PHONE? Of course, by now, I HAD HAD IT! Then, the light bulb went off about the call my boss answered earlier and I COMBUSTIVELY EXPLODED!!! I called them back and cussed their asses out!! What is wrong with you people?!!! I gave you MY phone number....stop pulling every damn number off the caller ID and calling it back like a friggin collection agency!! Needless to say, just because of that BS, they will NEVER GET MY MONEY. They can be GIVING AWAY their storage space, I DO NOT WANT IT. If you hassling me like a effing banshee BEFORE I rent your space, imagine what the hell you will do after my sh*t is in your lockers? NO EFFING THANKS!! read more

Long story Short... BEWARE OF RATE INCREASES! I originally rented a 15x15 unit on the 4th floor for $147.00 a month. After 4 months I received notice that my rate would be increasing by $110.00. I called and was informed that all units receive a rate increase usually at the 6th and 12th month of renting. I was never provided any information on rate increases. read more

I recieved excellent service from this place! Firstly, i found a rate online for $17 a month for a 5x5 storage unit and when i called about it, it was legit! All i had to do was pay 12 months up front to get the deal for a year (if you dont pay up front the the rates can fluctuate each month). Only cost me $209 to rent the space for an entire year...now thats a great deal! Also, the staff was extremely kind and made the process painless. They gave me the closest available unit to the door so it was easy to move the storage in. Another plus is you can pull your car/truck INSIDE...dont have to worry about unloading everything in the cold and they provide carts for you! Overall, great experience and if i can get a deal equally as good in 12 months, I plan to stick around! read more
