The pad for access code, the hand sensor to open the door leaving, the elevator buttons, have all seen better days. America was busy in the facility and out of office when we arrived. The sign on door said 1245 return, almost hour and half later. Called the facility number, remote customer service bot, etc. America did call us about 20 mins later. Explained that when she is rounding, she can't be contacted by customer service (no beeper, cell, walkie-talkie) etc. That's an issue for customers needing assistance ie needing a lock cut off or someone needing a storage unit tour. My sister was clearing out her storage unit. We had movers scheduled. It was a smooth process after a rocky start. America is an asset to this facility.

I certainly would've paused and considered other options. Original one star review: Bait and switch pricing. Increased my rent 65% after less than 3 months with only 20 days notice. You have to scroll down 6 pages to find the fine print that says they can change pricing at any time with 15 days notice. This is a summer storage unit for my daughter's dorm and we're not local so it wouldn't make sense for us to fly out and move to another facility. Will never do business with them again. Utterly ridiculous and shady business practice.

Their rate was reasonable and I liked that we were able to tip on Zelle instead of having to use cash. They also offer rentals for reusable / eco-friendly boxes in case you don't want to produce waste with paper boxes. I felt that the charge was unfair because I gave the address and explained where I wanted the dumpster to be placed prior to booking the dumpster. As someone who has never rented a dumpster in my life, I was not informed that there was a minimum width the alley (which both Ford F150 trucks and regular sized vans go through on a daily basis) could fit through. I called Bin There Dump That (also, great name!) and explained my situation to them. They scouted out my alley beforehand to make sure one of their smaller sized trucks could fit. They gave a fair price, they answered the phone whenever I called, and they even accommodated my special timing requests as well. They were flexible on pick up dates, which was also appreciated, seeing as you never know how long entire building clean outs can take. I wholeheartedly recommend their service.
