Let's face it, renting a storage unit comes with lots of extra feelings. You don't typically rent a…read morestorage unit because you've got a great big house with a garage and everything you need to store it there. So when looking for a Storage Unit, customer service is always very important to me, you never know what someone's going through and moving is already such a hassle. I reviewed just about all of the storage facility options in the Coachella Valley, and eventually decided to go with this location. Customer Service was a big reason for that, Erica, who is the site manager was extremely helpful and efficient with time. She took me around to various units to decide which one would work best for me, I felt no anxiety when I asked questions and she was happy to open any unit that I wanted to see. After choosing the one I like the best, I called back to see if, there was a better rate possible. Erica, let me know. She worked out an offer for me that I couldn't refuse and signed the paperwork for my unit that day. I'm very grateful for the service I received, and very satisfied with the unit that I chose. Highly suggest this location for your storage needs. Thanks again Erica!

I do NOT recommend Devon Self Storage…read more They market a 20' x 20' storage unit, but what they delivered was TWO separated 10' x 20' units, which were completely inadequate for my storage needs. I needed the units connected, side by side. Their website markets a 20' x 20'; their graphic shows a 10' by 40'; and they deliver two separate 20' x 20' units. This is deceptive bait and switch marketing. I spoke to a regional manager who claimed that this was industry practice. I am forced to take my items for all my units at this facility to another company, incurring additional costs. Delivering 400 sq feet of storage across 2 (or 4) units is NOT the same thing as delivering an advertised 20' x 20' unit.

We had a terrible experience renting a U-Haul trailer through Security Public Storage in Palm…read moreDesert on September 18, 2026. We reserved an 6 by 12 closed trailer, but it was not there when we arrived. The only employee on duty said the only trailer available was a 5 by 8. We had workmen expecting us at our destination the next day, so we took it. That meant leaving behind furniture we had planned to move. We were told we had to wait until we returned the trailer before requesting a credit for the downgrade. No one was available to hook up the trailer. No employees were working on a Friday afternoon. Fortunately, a former U-Haul employee who happened to be there picking up a trailer kindly hooked it up for us. Without his help, I don't know how we would have left with it. The woman at the desk also asked us to provide a photo of the hitched trailer. We bought several boxes, and I noticed at checkout that we had been charged more than the posted prices. The employee said she could not correct the $69.60 charge. Instead, she charged us $39.15 on a second invoice and said accounting would refund the original charge on Monday. A week later, that refund still has not appeared. After returning the trailer on Sunday, we called U-Haul about a partial refund for the smaller trailer. It took six calls before we received it. The whole experience was frustrating and poorly handled by both Security Public Storage and U-Haul. Security Public Storage was a joke. In the future, I would only rent and pick up directly from a U-Haul company store.

I really got nothing to say if I'm ever there they're very nice now however Public Storage just bought them out. They insist on insurance and you have to pay separate for that but so far well let me just say it first they said it's gonna be an extra $20 a month but it's not turned out to be an extra $12 and they lowered the storage fee so it's so far it's all come out to the same $75 that I've been paying for the last couple years. I have the smallest storage space 5 x 5 sorry no picture but you know what a storage space looks like a closet. Basically I got my whole life in there even though I haven't seen it in five years.
