As a result, we had to reschedule all our help. When we spoke with an agent, we were told we'd need to contact their dispute department for any additional costs this delay has caused--like hotel stays, meals, and basic necessities. We shouldn't have to fight over reimbursement for an inconvenience they caused. Now we're forced to buy essentials like towels, paper plates, silverware, and bedding--all while trying to find a hotel that will accommodate three dogs. This entire experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing, and reflects poor customer service and lack of accountability. We will absolutely be following up.

But what really made this place special is its assistant manager, Aspen Rose. Not only did he go out of his way to make the entire process simple, but he helped me get the measurements right beforehand, and get the car squeezed into a snug space. Registration and checking were quick and painless. Likewise, retrieving the car and closing out the account were quick and painless. And it was great to greet Aspen again. He and storage sense are what all service business should strive for.

The driveways are very sloped... Meaning the carts that you have access to will not stay still. On more than one occasion I have seen them roll away from people as they are trying to load them. Then, once you load the cart good luck getting it through the door... They have nice automatic rollup doors but the lip at the bottom of them is so steep it is very difficult to push the cart over the lip. I nice touch is the fact that they play music over the speakers inside the facility. However, on more than one occasion I have been there and all that is playing over the speakers is static. Very loud static. Overall, as far as storage facilities go, this place isn't bad. I've seen a lot worse.

No excuse was given to me by "Jessica" for the rate increase and she offered me a different unit for the same price of $110 a month. She later stated that per the lease they can raise the storage rate after 6 months. I haven't even been there 6 months. She further stated that a letter was mailed out to me in February. Well I was deployed for the entire month of February and the mail was held. No letter from them was ever received. I told her that and she did not have a reply. This is a shady business practice.

I immediately moved out and will never use this company again. Beware of the low initial price offered for units....if they have someone new who wants to rent your space, they will raise the price so high that , in my case, was almost double. So much for caring about your customers and their loyalty to their business. I would never recommend this business. I used this storage space prior to Self Storage Plus acquiring the business, and much prefer the previous owner who did not rip you off like this.

My wife was visibly shaken. The clerk's only response was "If somebody is standing in front of me with money in hand, I'm not going to tell them no!" To remedy the situation, they offered 2 smaller units (1 climate controlled, one not) that would add up to the same square footage as the one (climate controlled) they sold away. When my wife asked if she could be charged the price of the single unit we were supposed to get, they said it was not an option. We will use CubeSmart instead.
