Wanted to provide an update about my interactions with the owner of this company after I posted my…read morereview. He has yet to try to resolve this issue with me or respond to my BBB complaint or respond to my yelp review. He did, however, have time to tell me that I'm terrible on my Facebook. What a terrible experience this has been.

No one likes to move. Its tedious, time consuming, and stressful. People hire movers to…read morefacilitate this process. Not worsen it. If you value your items, time, money, and sanity, turn back now. Just go to http://uhaul.com, then pull up at home depot and grab a few guys. You will be better off for far less money. This company is horrible. I meticulously planned my day by the hour. I was required to have the previous apartment keys turned in by 5 PM. Very little room for error. I needed to be moved out, and cleaned by the end of the business day. I spoke with the owner Mase on Wednesday. I asked if they could start at 9. He informed me that they do not start moves until 10 am. We agreed on that time. He was made aware of my time situation. I moved 2.1 miles from my previous 2 bedroom apartment. 1. 10 am comes. Nothing.. Mase then texts me at 10:30 that he cannot find a truck??!!! That is correct. They do not even have a company truck! Literally, the only equipment they have is a flat dolly and wrapping tape. So not only do that not have a truck, he didn't even have the foresight to make a reservation at uhaul for my move. In June. On a Saturday. This also means they do not have the equipment to move your fragile items. Luckily I still had the box to my OLED TV. I call the person who referred these "movers" to me..He and his wife are calling/driving around for hours trying to find a truck. He never even found one himself. Then another person from my job goes to pick it up. Its the smallest box truck uhaul has. One of movers has the nerve to complain that it isn't big enough. M-Town Movers finally arrive at 2:30 PM with NO TRUCK. The cleaners that I paid by the hour arrived at their correct time, 1 p.m. and could not do their job. 2. They moved my stuff in an unattended hallway to "prep" for the truck's arrival. Anyone could have walked by and swiped something. 3. They are extremely inefficient. The first load was on the truck AFTER 5 p.m. My leasing office felt bad for me and allowed me to turn in my keys on Monday morning...For a pro-rated fee of course. I have moved from a 4600 sq ft house in less than 4 hours. 4. I never seen the owner again after the we arrived at my new apartment to unload the first time. This was around 5:30. I asked his employees where he was and they said they didn't know. 5. I directed the 2 movers to where I would like my items. I had to leave and go to work for a couple hours. They just threw everything in a pile in my living room. I could barely walk into my apartment. I had to have some friends come over and help move my larger items to the correct rooms. They put my dresser in the correct room when I was there..When I left they just threw the matching nightstands in the living room. They knew where they were supposed to go. 6. They broke my desk and my dining table. 7. I return to my old apartment the next day. I asked the movers to throw out my old couches. Of course they didn't do that. "Luckily" I had to hire the cleaners again b/c they didn't finish moving my stuff until after 10 pm. They helped me drag them to the dumpster. 8. They didn't touch 2 of my closets. They literally left my neatly wrapped up clothes. The door to one of the closets was wide open. 9. They left my ottoman in the public hallway. They also left the hallway outside of my door a mess. 10. After all of the above he still has the nerve to bill for $1000. For a 2 bedroom apartment. 2 miles down the street. I moved for a 4600 sq ft house for half of that. This is also higher than any of the other companies quoted. 11. When I complained to a mutual acquaintance about my experience, he says: "She has a lot of stuff." Excuse me? What? That is your damn job. He then drops my keys off at my job without even talking to me at all. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. M-Town Movers made an already stressful situation worse. They cost me a lot of money outside of their horrible unprofessional service. STAY AWAY!

I had proof it was not true whereas they did not have proof of my presence ( no video bc it did not happen). They let me stay. Then my access hours suddenly restricted bc of 'loitering' (tho I have 4 large units and am very focussed on agenda at hand while there, and am hours & actions are NO DIFFERENT than other customers( well except the ones who partly live in their units- but no one seems to mind that activity?). I specifically requested a guideline to follow so I may respectfully be compliant & to satisfy any gray areas , tho nothing ever provided. A couple months later I am accused of stealing from another unit and immediately evicted (again). They had no evidence bc it didn't happen! I had proof of finding the makeup and makeup brushes on the side of the road in a green space near the back exit gate PLUS returned to owner at the moment the owner claimed them (she left her unit unlocked for a month and stuff had been taken -tho public storage did not notice no lock during their daily lock checks for A MONTH???) I also stepped aside and allowed the owner and staff member have full access to my unit to search without restrictions or questions asked. But I still had to move out bc of the "previous incidents with me" ( the incidents where I've been falsely accused and penalized for things I did not do- providing proof of my innocence each time). I couldn't afford to move 4 10x30 units on a two week notice so I transferred title to a friend and made me an authorized person on the account. All is well for about 2 weeks when I was leaving the gate malfunctioned (again) and rapidly began closing, the eye for it to stop when a vehicle is crossing over did not work, and it collided into my front fender knocking it off the rail. I put it back on the rail. And was going to talk to the office the next day, but instead , I was called and told I am banned from the property because ' they got me on video hitting the gate' plus it'll cost me $15,000 to fix! There wasn't anything to fix! And when I ,again, stated my side providing details supporting my innocence, I was told it's also bc of the other incidents ( AGAIN, incidents that never happened! Were untrue. Falsely accused. They owe ME many apologies but I've never asked anything but to stop harassing me and let me pay for my 4 units in peace!). But wait! That's not all! There were months where my account was reflecting incorrect financial info- approx $750 I paid seemingly disappeared. Also I was a victim of two significant thefts ( a customer bought approx $2000 of my things -a customer the management introduced to me for making the sell- and didn't pay or return the items : instead, threatened me via texts that I tried to turn over to management but they weren't interested nor did anything about it or to him. ( yet, I've been evicted 3 times and banned for ZERO activity that violates any rules or lease!). Then my CAR was stolen with my phone and wallet etc by a known trespasser I reported many times but nothing done- including when my car was stolen while on Public Storage property!) I also am disabled. I need access to certain items in the units ( I have always paid on time each month, and continue to do so tho I am banned from the property now). I've been targeted and my kindness taken advantage of. The accusations are conveyed thru to the top senior execs as true, and no one will extend the courtesy to hear my side or consider the info I sent in numerous emails ( they blocked my address so no one read them !). I am seeking police and legal help now.

My boyfriend is long distance and couldn't come down here this week, and I didn't feel like hiring someone sketchy on Craigslist... so I started looking into movers. I just needed help moving my bigger furniture pieces to my new apartment, which is in the same complex as the old one. So I called Atlanta Premier Movers and explained the situation. They said it shouldn't be a problem. When the movers arrived, they immediately started harassing me about not having a boyfriend or male friend here that could help. They questioned why I hired them, so I explained the situation again. They finally let it go and started moving stuff upstairs. When it came to my bed frame, they asked if I had tools to take it apart. I had specified when booking that I needed help disassembling furniture, so no, I didn't have tools. One of the movers left to go get pliers while I waited in the apartment with the other mover, who sat there and FaceTimed his friends. The guy continued calling and FaceTiming his friends as they were moving my bed frame. He made sure to throw in his judgments about my moving situation, saying "just make up with your friend", which was demeaning and undermined a situation he knew nothing about. When it came time to pay, they told me they only took cash, not checks. What company doesn't take checks? Honestly in the future I'll take the risk and hire a random from Craigslist, because this experience sucked.

In mid-August 2020, I contacted this moving company and agreed to hire them for a local move (2.6…read moremiles) based on an hourly rate. I was asked to describe the contents of my 3 bedroom 2 bath house. I was given a date and time for the move. Mistake 1, I didn't get a written estimate of hours and costs. The move crew shows up about an hour late but assures me this would all be done by night fall (packing, loading, moving, unloading). I spoke with the crew leader and it was thought the total move would be 8 to 9 hours at $160.00/hour. With 3 movers this seemed fair. The move started at 9:45am and ending (incompletely) at 2:30am the next morning. I still had boxes and other property to be moved. Which I ended up hiring a second company to perform. It went very well. The movers were polite and very nice but this is a company I would not use again or recommend to anyone. In fact I would advise anyone thinking of using them to use another company. Mistake 2: During the moving the driver hit the neighbors stone wall and damaged it. There was an acknowledgment of fault, pictures taken, the management of the company was informed and we talk it over with the home owner (new neighbor). The company, Atlanta Premier Movers promised this would be taken care of right away. We are more than a month our from the move and the incident and the property damage has yet to be fixed. This is after weekly calls asking the moving company to address the repair of the wall. After repeated promises to address the repairs we are now more than a month from the date of the incident and nothing has happened. I am now forced to seek third party interventions to resolve the problem. Mistake 3: twice I trusted the management of the company. I have moved 12 times in my life to include across county 4 times and this is the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. I gave the company 2 stars (while the experience is truly a 1 star) because the 3 staff that actually did the move are nice, polite and respectful individuals. Respectfully submitted John Clark Extremely disappointed customer

They are much cheaper than PODS, and have better reviews than PODS. (I recommend negotiating the price if possible) My only bad is when booking we explained how much space we would need to move our 2 bedroom apartment, and the rep encouraged us to get two Relo Cubes stating it would be best. -They offer individual relo cubes, or 7+ feet of space in a shared freight trailer. (Only 1 Upack customer per trailer, and the rest left over is for commercial moving) I chose the relo cube because I was under the impression that the shared trailer was with another household. (They didn't clarify how it was shared) Im most certain the reps have no clue how small the relo cubes are because when we showed up on moving day and saw the relo cubes we were pissed. The rep I got that day kept assuring me everything would fit in the cube and I promise you theres no way in hell all our things would have fit. They switched us to the trailer, and we saved $600 switching to the trailer. We also found out how the shared trailer worked which was reassuring then. If you use them, and have many things move i recommend a trailer over relo cube. Relo Cubes are much smaller than disclosed.

Do yourself a favor and choose another shipping company. This company is not worth your money.
