If you value your items, time, money, and sanity, turn back now. Just go to http://uhaul.com, then pull up at home depot and grab a few guys. You will be better off for far less money. This company is horrible. I meticulously planned my day by the hour. I was required to have the previous apartment keys turned in by 5 PM. Very little room for error. I needed to be moved out, and cleaned by the end of the business day. I spoke with the owner Mase on Wednesday. I asked if they could start at 9. He informed me that they do not start moves until 10 am. We agreed on that time. He was made aware of my time situation. I moved 2.1 miles from my previous 2 bedroom apartment. 1. 10 am comes. Nothing.. Mase then texts me at 10:30 that he cannot find a truck??!!! That is correct. They do not even have a company truck! Literally, the only equipment they have is a flat dolly and wrapping tape. So not only do that not have a truck, he didn't even have the foresight to make a reservation at uhaul for my move. In June. On a Saturday. This also means they do not have the equipment to move your fragile items. Luckily I still had the box to my OLED TV. I call the person who referred these "movers" to me..He and his wife are calling/driving around for hours trying to find a truck. He never even found one himself. Then another person from my job goes to pick it up. Its the smallest box truck uhaul has. One of movers has the nerve to complain that it isn't big enough. M-Town Movers finally arrive at 2:30 PM with NO TRUCK. The cleaners that I paid by the hour arrived at their correct time, 1 p.m. and could not do their job. 2. They moved my stuff in an unattended hallway to "prep" for the truck's arrival. Anyone could have walked by and swiped something. 3. They are extremely inefficient. The first load was on the truck AFTER 5 p.m. My leasing office felt bad for me and allowed me to turn in my keys on Monday morning...For a pro-rated fee of course. I have moved from a 4600 sq ft house in less than 4 hours. 4. I never seen the owner again after the we arrived at my new apartment to unload the first time. This was around 5:30. I asked his employees where he was and they said they didn't know. 5. I directed the 2 movers to where I would like my items. I had to leave and go to work for a couple hours. They just threw everything in a pile in my living room. I could barely walk into my apartment. I had to have some friends come over and help move my larger items to the correct rooms. They put my dresser in the correct room when I was there..When I left they just threw the matching nightstands in the living room. They knew where they were supposed to go. 6. They broke my desk and my dining table. 7. I return to my old apartment the next day. I asked the movers to throw out my old couches. Of course they didn't do that. "Luckily" I had to hire the cleaners again b/c they didn't finish moving my stuff until after 10 pm. They helped me drag them to the dumpster. 8. They didn't touch 2 of my closets. They literally left my neatly wrapped up clothes. The door to one of the closets was wide open. 9. They left my ottoman in the public hallway. They also left the hallway outside of my door a mess. 10. After all of the above he still has the nerve to bill for $1000. For a 2 bedroom apartment. 2 miles down the street. I moved for a 4600 sq ft house for half of that. This is also higher than any of the other companies quoted. 11. When I complained to a mutual acquaintance about my experience, he says: "She has a lot of stuff." Excuse me? What? That is your damn job. He then drops my keys off at my job without even talking to me at all. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. M-Town Movers made an already stressful situation worse. They cost me a lot of money outside of their horrible unprofessional service. STAY AWAY!

It was a difficult move due to having to give away so much furniture and downsize due to medical issues. My clergy paid for the move. The movers broke an inordinate mount of furniture, electronics and wall decor. Even a glass top to my buffet that appeared well packed was badly broken. (Pictures) The list of the large items that were broken is to follow: - My Vizio 44" tv's screen had a large spider break and had to be thrown away. I was offered $12.72 from the moving company's insurance company for the TV. - A solid wood side table in excellent condition that was my late Mom's leg was snapped broken in the middle. It hurt emotionally to lose that beautiful, meaningful piece. - A solid TV table leg was broken in half at the same level as my wood side table's leg. I can't imagine how that could happen. , a piece of glass 19"x32" that topped my wood buffet furniture broke, (Picture) - Movers broke a large wall mirror. Both mirror and ornate gold frame broke. (Picture) - The front of my small safe is beat up and won't open. It was in perfect condition before the move. I found it upside down at an angle in the kitchen pantry. The thick, hard metal keyboard and the metal on the edges above and below the keyboard on the same side has nicks and scratches. (See pictures) My COVID vaccination card is in the safe and it's required for a new job screening so I have to pay a locksmith with money I don't have to open it in the next 10 days. Prescriptions, valuables and important documents are also in the safe. Again I can't imagine what could have nicked and scratched that metal. I called the owner and he said he only knew about the tv. He offered nothing not even voicing that he regretted all of the damage. He said to Google the safe to find how to open it but I knew that. Even though it was a very small job there was no excuse for that much damage.

Trevor and his team did a great job with the move- they were very fast and nothing was damaged. Awesome job with bed assembly. I have no idea how Trevor was able to park the big truck with the limited parking space but he made it happen! All this for the lowest price I've been quoted. Incredible all around. So I'm pretty new to Atlanta and don't really have any good friends here yet. I'm moving into a one…read morebedroom due to a hostile and frankly dangerous random roommate situation. My boyfriend is long distance and couldn't come down here this week, and I didn't feel like hiring someone sketchy on Craigslist... so I started looking into movers. I just needed help moving my bigger furniture pieces to my new apartment, which is in the same complex as the old one. So I called Atlanta Premier Movers and explained the situation. They said it shouldn't be a problem. When the movers arrived, they immediately started harassing me about not having a boyfriend or male friend here that could help. They questioned why I hired them, so I explained the situation again. They finally let it go and started moving stuff upstairs. When it came to my bed frame, they asked if I had tools to take it apart. I had specified when booking that I needed help disassembling furniture, so no, I didn't have tools. One of the movers left to go get pliers while I waited in the apartment with the other mover, who sat there and FaceTimed his friends. The guy continued calling and FaceTiming his friends as they were moving my bed frame. He made sure to throw in his judgments about my moving situation, saying "just make up with your friend", which was demeaning and undermined a situation he knew nothing about. When it came time to pay, they told me they only took cash, not checks. What company doesn't take checks? Honestly in the future I'll take the risk and hire a random from Craigslist, because this experience sucked.

In mid-August 2020, I contacted this moving company and agreed to hire them for a local move (2.6…read moremiles) based on an hourly rate. I was asked to describe the contents of my 3 bedroom 2 bath house. I was given a date and time for the move. Mistake 1, I didn't get a written estimate of hours and costs. The move crew shows up about an hour late but assures me this would all be done by night fall (packing, loading, moving, unloading). I spoke with the crew leader and it was thought the total move would be 8 to 9 hours at $160.00/hour. With 3 movers this seemed fair. The move started at 9:45am and ending (incompletely) at 2:30am the next morning. I still had boxes and other property to be moved. Which I ended up hiring a second company to perform. It went very well. The movers were polite and very nice but this is a company I would not use again or recommend to anyone. In fact I would advise anyone thinking of using them to use another company. Mistake 2: During the moving the driver hit the neighbors stone wall and damaged it. There was an acknowledgment of fault, pictures taken, the management of the company was informed and we talk it over with the home owner (new neighbor). The company, Atlanta Premier Movers promised this would be taken care of right away. We are more than a month our from the move and the incident and the property damage has yet to be fixed. This is after weekly calls asking the moving company to address the repair of the wall. After repeated promises to address the repairs we are now more than a month from the date of the incident and nothing has happened. I am now forced to seek third party interventions to resolve the problem. Mistake 3: twice I trusted the management of the company. I have moved 12 times in my life to include across county 4 times and this is the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. I gave the company 2 stars (while the experience is truly a 1 star) because the 3 staff that actually did the move are nice, polite and respectful individuals. Respectfully submitted John Clark Extremely disappointed customer

We had a successful move thanks to Bellhop…read more We were scheduled to move at 8AM. The lead came early, around 7:50 AM to check out what we have. Then he created a plan of attack and got everything out of the house in about 2 hours. When we drove to our new house to unload, that was also quick and efficient. They really hustled and even put my king sized bed back together while others were still unloading. We were scheduled for 8 hours, but we finished in 4.8 hours thanks to how quick they were. The movers really hustled. They worked fast. When they move furniture they make sure to use moving pads and shrinkwrap them to protect everything. They know how to use that shrinkwrap. I always have trouble with them, but they can shrinkwrap stuff in seconds. When unloading they put the boxes neatly. They don't just throw them around. They seem to take good care of your items during load and unloading. The communication was great and everyone was friendly and hard working. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. There were a few negatives. Calling them takes forever to get a hold of someone. You have to plan to wait at least 15 minutes when you call them. But once you get them on the phone they were courteous and great. Also, the movers couldn't fit everything in their truck. I gave them a detailed inventory, but they still couldn't fit everything. They were very efficient in loading and made sure every square inch of that truck was used. I guess it was partially my fault since I had so much junk. But I guess this was normal if you have too much stuff to haul out. Some of the movers even offered to put stuff in their car as well. A few tips if you are thinking of moving. This might help speed up the move and save a bit of money. They charge you by the hour so speed and efficiency counts. - Pack up everything in boxes and make sure they're all ready to go. I would even put them in the same area so they can load those boxes quick. - Disassemble any large furniture yourself (as well as reassembling). They can do it for you. If it's complex it might take a while. The time to disassemble comes out of the total hourly time. If you have furniture pads, use them and shrink wrap the furniture. - They don't encourage it, but you can help load and unload. - Make sure to include a detailed inventory for them before you contact them. They want an estimate of what you have. But having a full detailed inventory will help them figure out how many movers and size truck(s) they need. Of course, you don't need to do any of that, and let them do it. Well, you should definitely have everything in boxes at the very least. The furniture stuff they can do it quick. Also, make sure to tip the movers well. They work hard for those tips. You can venmo the lead or do it straight from the website when you pay the invoice. Or you can give them cash. They would probably prefer cash or venmo. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Bellhop.
