False advertisement to lure you in. They were eager to enter into a contract for $61/month. 2 months later the increase went from $61 to $120/minth. Two months after that it went to $188/month. They told me they can increase my rate every 4 months. I'm so disgusted and feel trapped. There is no one at corporate to talk to. read more

Kevin was a great help! He took the time to explain everything clearly, provided thoughtful insight, and made sure I fully understood my options. He was not only professional but also patient and approachable, which made the whole process much less stressful. I truly appreciate his effort, and it shows that he genuinely cares about helping people make the best decisions. Kevin went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend his assistance to anyone in a similar situation. He was very helpful guiding me through the decision of whether transferring to another unit was worth it. He was very thoughtful, patient, and helpful throughout the process. I really appreciate his support. read more

Ms. Sara was so helpful with my auction storage I purchased very nice and respectruly.

Two locations right beside each other. One is a high-rise and the other, a single level. My locker is in the single level. They're cheaper. I do think the high-rise has better climate control. No issues. Ample parking. Never any problems getting in or out of the coded driveway or building entrance. read more

Sarah at this location is absolutely amazing. It's hard to find people who are genuinely kind and considerate, she's helped me so much. Thank you for being you! read more

They just raised our payment by $60. This place is FILTHY, there are NO CARTS they have disappeared. The public bathroom is NEVER OPEN. So if you are in your storage unit and have to go you are screwed. I would not recommend this place. The staff is nasty and the facility itself is dirty. They have placed some portable units in the middle of the parking lot, that make it very hard to navigate and on top of it they flood. A new manager is needed this place is a mess read more

Sara has been extremely friendly and helpful making this a very seamless transaction. She is kind enough to check on me whenever I see her out on the property to make sure I'm doing ok and is sincere about making sure my storage experience continues to meet all my expectations. I have taken note and watched how hard she works first hand and want to personally thank her for keeping the place clean, her excellent follow up and she gets 100 in the customer service department. read more

Sara, Was amazing and helpful..quick and very informative She made me laugh with making this transition today. The property is clean and very spacious and the customer service is A1 If I'd say so myself. read more

Marlon is the best!!! I use a storage unit for work and had to switch locations to the Old Fourth Ward location. I always appreciated Marlon and the team at the Cheshire Bridge location, but now that I see so much difference in the level service, professionalism, and quality I had to come back and write a review. There's such a marked difference I'm considering going out of my way every day just to move my storage back to this location! Marlon ALWAYS went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, and he was always on top of things. I never knew how much of a difference there could be from one location to the next until I moved, and if you're anywhere near this location, choose it! Also, as a woman who has to go early in the mornings and sometimes in the evening, I appreciated that the location always felt safe and that even the parking and dumpster area are gated. It's not the same at the O4W location, and sometimes homeless people hang out at the dumpster early in the morning before there's any staff there. read more

The manager Sara is awesome. The only downside is that they increase your rent whenever they want...That's a big downside...

I just got back from a business trip and discovered that, while I gave them my credit card information when I rented the second unit, they DID NOT CHARGE MY CARD as I was led to believe for the first month's rent. Instead, I came back to find that they also added a $10 delinquent feel to my bill. SO: 1. I rent the new unit. 2. They take my payment information. 3. I sign for anything and assume the first month was paid LIKE LAST TIME. 4. I go on a business trip. 5. I check my email when I get home to see that there was never a payment made AND they added a $10 late fee. Do not trust this company. read more

So, I've had stuff in this storage unit for a few years (so they're not that bad), but the last time I went over there all my stuff was wet! I called and spoke to the manager, who said "nothing I can do;" Basically, I'm on my own and they are in no way responsible. It's a tough situation, my unit's locked, the other units are locked, so I get that there is not much they can do, but it would have been nice to have some concern from the management, not just a blanket refusal to do anything. Needless to say, I moved out. read more

Do not rent a storage unit here! When you move out they will continue to charge you for the rental unit and not credit your money back. I was just charged for two-month even though I moved out two months ago. They have rats that eat your furniture and make homes in your boxes. The roof leaks water in your units. You can never get ahold of anyone when you call them and if your try to get something fixed or resolved you are met with attitude for the inconvenience. Run from here! read more

This place charged me for 3 months when I only used 2. It cost $250 a month so it was not cheap. Charges for services not used and makes it the customer's fault for not notifying them early enough of the move out prior to their billing. Other places charge and prorate based on date you move in and out not by your billing. Who has time to keep tabs on that in the middle of moving?! Did not feel safe at this location either where it is dark outside at night and a lot of theft occur. read more

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. I have been a customer for over 2 years. Not even 2 months ago, I was informed of possible water damage due to a "storm" (that later I found out was a contracting company doing roof maintenance who didn't properly tarp the roof, so the storm caused damage). I do not live locally, and it took 2 weeks and multiple escalations to corporate to get the local management to respond and enable family to assess the situation. I do give credit to the fact that once I finally spoke to the district level management, the situation was handled quickly. BUT THEN - less than 2 months later - I get a voice mail saying that there has been ANOTHER leak and that they recommend I move my things out of the area????? Sorry, Extra Space Storage - it is YOUR responsibility to provide STORAGE - that is what you say you do. Hiring faulty contractors is never ok - but once you had an issue in July - how could you let it happen AGAIN less than 2 months later????? SHOCKINGLY poor. Stuff happens - but how you respond to it says everything. The complete lack of availability to address the first water leak damage (no one was in the facility at all from management and were unreachable by phone even according to Extra Space Storage HQ and to a third party investigator) is unacceptable. And then now to have it happen AGAIN in less than 2 months? (and all this is on top of what others have said about random price increases) read more

Marlon was very helpful during our move in made sure we had everything we needed. The building and units are very clean and very secure. I would definitely recommend to friends in need of storage. read more

I used this facility a year ago and had nothing but great treatment. I needed a space again and even though this is out of my way i had to come back because Marlon is the bomb! He is curteous, funny and takes a lot of pride at this location. Its so nice to have people out there that have customer service skills! Marlon deserves a Huge raise!! read more

This Extra Space Storage location was perfect! My first interaction was with Marlon and he was so knowledgeable and extremely outgoing. My things fit perfectly in the 5x10 unit and move in was a breeze with the carts provided. When I was ready to terminate my contract, Courtney I believe helped me, made everything so easy and let me know I could always come back. read more

Super helpful. Great service. Drove me to my space and even carried in a bulky box. Met fed ex and game them the keys so I didn't have to make a separate trip. read more

Extra Space has been incredibly generous and helpful with our storage needs. Marlon was especially accommodating as we found the unit that was the right size for our needs and available on the day we needed it. I would gladly recommend this location to anyone in the Atlanta area! read more

Recently move from out of town and had more stuff than my small apartment could hold. This storage facility is clean and the staff are very nice and friendly. Love the climate controlled units and the easy access. read more

I had a wonderful experience here at Extra Space Storage. Marlon was incredibly helpful to me from start to finish. I left my things in a 10x10 storage unit for over a year, and when I came back everything was still in perfect condition. When I needed help getting rid of the last few boxes from several states away, Marlon pointed me in the right direction. My space went up in cost one time over that period by an incremental amount. This is not unusual for a month-to-month lease. Overall, I had a great experience with ESS and would be happy to use them again. read more

Currently renting with them. The staff and management has been very helpful and nice. Would recommend Extra Space to anyone.

I was so surprised when I walked into the storage facility on Cheshire Bridge the manager Marlon was very professional and definitely knew what he was talking about he took care of my storage needs, I have to say that I would highly recommend the storage facility for any of your storage needs I will look forward to using them in the future read more

Do not rent from this center. They keep jacking up our prices and their explanation was that since all leases are month to month they can charge whatever they feel like. Seriously. That's what they told us. I don't think that they should raise our rent willy-nilly based on greed - that is just not sitting well with us. read more

I had a storage unit there for a little over five years. I first started out with an indoor unit, 5x10 which was nice because of the temperature control. I need to move to a little bigger unit so I moved up to a 10x10 unit outside, which was the same price as the 5x10 indoor unit. I understand that and did not have an issue with this. Each year that I was there I received a $20 - $50 increase to my monthly charge. This year my charge was going to be $250/month for an outdoor unit. I started checking into other prices and came across Uncle Bob's Self Storage. I was able to get an indoor 10x10 unit for $95/month with the guarantee that my rate would not go up at the end of the year. I am very disappointed in myself that it took me this long to look into other units. If you are looking for a storage unit I would suggest going to Uncle Bob's before signing up anywhere. The $145/month I am saving each month is definitely worth the ten extra minutes I have to drive to get to my unit, plus all their units are indoor. read more

I needed a storage facility asap due to a housing situation that went array last minute. I reserved my unit at 10:45 Wed eve. Thurs am a very jovial, friendly and warm man called to confirm my reservation. I stopped by there after work to fill out paperwork and the same man, Marlon, helped me with my paperwork. He was so very nice which was much appreciated during a stressful time. The pricing is good (1/2 off first month) but they have a policy that requires your renters insurance to explicitly state it covers materials at that specific storage unit, which of course mine did not. Therefore, I was stuck having to purchase their insurance...again, not the end of the world but I've rented at several other facilities before that never required that specification. It all ended up working out in the end and again, the customer service at this place is superior! I would rent here again if I needed to in the future and would recommend it to anyone else. read more

I needed space to store for a limited time between moves. Extraspace offered this at a fair price. The facility on Cheshire Bridge is clean and well maintained. I will recommend this location in the future. read more

I have been a very happy customer with this Extra Space Storage location for over three years now!!! Not only is the entire storage site well-maintained and clean, but it is in a fabulous location and the management is really top-notch!! Kindest employees. I had a horrible week and their compassion and attention to needs was beyond the norm. Not only did they come up with a solution to the problem they went the extra mile and even gave me a free lovk to my unit. These two gentlemen turned a horrible week around. 5 stars is not even enough for this storage facility. Great staff, clean, and priced right! read more

If you have basic stuff that you don't really care about fine! Things are too exposed in a climate controlled environment to be called climate control. Each unit is accessible to the next persons unit at the top, which is more likely to allow pests and critters to move about freely. Too bootleg and expensive here! read more

Have only just rented space from Eric who was helpful and efficient. As customers came in, he appeared to know them by name which gave the impression of good customer service. My experience limited but so far excellent marks. read more

I have been storing here off & on for 10+ years and this facility and its staff set the bar for any other storage facility. I attempted to store elsewhere once when the rates went up and there was no comparison to the cleanliness, security and impeccable service that Marlon and his team at Extra Space provide... So I paid the increase which is worth every penny and went back to Extra Space! I can't imagine storing with any other company! Marlon and his staff know everyone by name which is almost unheard of with businesses today and they truly care about customer satisfaction and service; each time I go to my storage unit Marlon or Eric make a point to make me smile! I can't say enough about how extremely happy I am with Extra Space and more specifically this particular location and staff. Thanks Marlon and Eric for the amazing service and for making my day a little less stressful every time I visit my storage unit! read more
