First I tried the homebuilders company I've used them before but this time, they just wouldn't coordinate with the Solar Company or respond well to me. The wind probably caused Solar and Vent problems, last December water began leaking into the house below the Solar panel area. Molly Rushing at Sun Run Customer Care had Titan do their part, they were great too. I told Molly how frustrated I was with the homebuilders roofing company, she referred me to Reimagine Roofing in Phoenix. Right after I called them Christian texted, with his picture and asking when he could set up a time to inspect, inside and out. Reimagine coordinated panel removal, the roof was reinspected repairs made and panels reinstalled. Christian was great to work with and he responded quickly to my calls, coordinating our schedules. He diagnosed a problem with the Pipe and O'hagen vents. And explained in detail that these vents were only nailed in place, never sealed with mastic this left them vulnerable to wind damage, gaps were forming between the flashing and the roof. In a heavy driving rain could come in and damage the ceiling Several of my neighbors have visibly damaged vents and tiles from past windstorms. I'll pass the word about Reimagine roofing. Christian is bright and energetic he worked quickly professionally when he was at our home. I hope to see him working on our neighbors' roofs soon. The rest of the staff that I worked, Melanie, Kelsea, Katlien and Koryn. were always helpful and I really thank them for actually getting my roof fixed.

Contract was signed for 3 kitchen bay windows on 3/21/26. Job was completed on 7/7/26. Haven the…read moresalesmen said it would take 6 weeks, since the 2 smaller windows needed to be ordered. Called at 6 weeks and was told the windows were order 3 weeks ago. Called over 20 times and told me someone would call. Never received any call backs. How do these people sleep at time? Installation started on June 17th. Installer never tested windows. Ben, the contractor came when job was completed on 6/19th. The 2 small windows did not remain open and was told the tracks were missing. June 24th a window tech came and agreed the tracks were missing and took pictures. With a few more visits to get the right tracks and installation was completed on July 7th. There was always an excuse from "NON" Reimagine blaming the window manufacturer or window installers. The window installers were great. PLEASE LISTEN, do not hire them. It was a very frustrating process. Hasn't rain in Arizona yet, so don't know if they leak.

Pricewise, from the companies we interviewed, Tacheny was in the upper mid-range. One of the reasons we opted to go with them is we have Solar panels and they have their own Solar contractors to remove the panels. That saved us about 2K based on pricing from Solar companies that do the same work. There were a couple of issues we noticed after the initial roof repair was completed. We talked to our site manager, Mahkobi, and he looked over the areas of concern and got those fixed. The drywall repair was exceptional and there were no issues whatsoever. Even though we had to address some of the roofing issues, I felt the office and site manager kept us in the loop, listened to our concerns and addressed the issues to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company for any exterior work you might need on your home.

Since we had just had an intense rain storm a few evenings prior and knowing the Arizona sun takes a toll on roofs, I was interested and set up an appointment for two days from the date of the call. The next day, I received a call from Elliot C. saying he was available within a few hours and could look at my roof that day instead of the next day when the appointment was originally scheduled. When he arrived, I told him that I would like to pay for the roof myself and not involve the insurance company as I did not want to submit a claim but to keep that option open. His demeanor changed immediately. He said he would take a look at the roof, take some pictures then let me know what he found. He went up on the roof and was down in a few minutes. He said there was wind damage, 1/2" hail damage and some heat bubbling of the asphalt shingles. This is all true since I saw it myself a few days prior when I was working on a vent. He said he was really busy that night but that I should get something from him the next day. He seemed like he couldn't leave fast enough for some reason. I never received anything from him. It's just interesting to me that they did not want my business despite the fact that I was ready to pay cash for the job. Perhaps there was some angle with the insurance company and the way the claims are submitted and how they receive payments which changed their mind about doing the job.

This is the firth time I've used them in probably 20 years. Prior to this house we've used them a…read morecouple times for flat roofs over the patio and inspections and repairs pre sale. They have always been fair with their prices and prompt with their service. This time we were working with a 30 year old roof. Over the 13 years we've owned the home we've had a few repairs and patches. This time Oliver said he could repair the one section that was leaking and reattach the tiles that had fallen of the peaks for $1500 or replace the whole roof for $12000. 6 years ago I had a quote from another contractor for $16000. I wanted the complete roof because we are going to put solar on the roof and the last thing you need is incremental repairs where they need to remove and replace panels. The issue with Porter is they are busy. Very busy. So we had to wait 3 months for them to get to our roof. The winter rains delayed the date an extra month but once they got us on the schedule they showed up every day for 3 days solid and did an excellent job. How do I know. Because I watched them work for several hours over the three days. They replaced wood where it needed it and did an excellent job replacing all the flashing. They cleaned up every day and when they left on day three, other than seeing the new flashing and straight edges on the tiles you'd never know they were here. When I told Oliver we were putting up solar panels he said after they were up to let him know and he would inspect the roof for cracked tiles and the places where they secure the racks to make sure his roof would last. He would also come out once a year and make sure there were no problems or fix them before they became a problem. I strongly recommend using Porter Roofing even after you read the one star reviews.
